I bought a phone from Pixmania.ie expecting an Irish VAT invoice, pixmania gave my business to a UK company and I couldn't get any VAT invoice despite many emails to Pixmania and the UK company FANGEL Europe.

Have not used this company since and never will again, very misleading

TV arrived today, exactly 5 working days after ordering it and needless to say it's gorgeous.

I had to write a review here about the Pixmania experience as the scaremongering on this thread was worrying me while I was in delivery limbo. I had visions of weeks of fights and call centre ticket numbers.

But no, true to their word, the TV arrived 5 working days after ordering it.

I was given a tracking code for Dascher - now, this could be improved but it's at the Dascher end of things rather than Pixmania. When I finally found the tracking system from Dascher I was happy enough to follow the TV from France, through Germany, into the UK and then finally on to Johnston Logistics in Rathcoole.

So, no hassle, don't stress it. Pixmania are the good guys.

Having used Pixmania years ago and had a good experience I didn't bother looking for reviews. Having ordered my camera to find that it would be fulfilled by another company, and with lots of ambiguous language about order fulfilment in my order email, I looked. Terrible reviews and appalling lack of communication made me nervous about my purchase.
Much to my delight, it turned up in 3 days. Obviously a Grey import, as expected, in the wrong box (Camera & Lens kit box) but with a UK power supply and clearly factory fresh camera and accessories.
The box is headed for the bin, I have my brand new 70D and an extra £150 in my pocket. Happy with that.

I just received my order of a Medtronic alarm clock.Unfortunately I'm unable to use it as the instructions are written in many European languages but not in English.
Very disappointing as English is a universal language .

Just to let you all know Sean from Pixmania emailed me. I sent him all the details and I haven't heard a thing since. It would appear that they only reply on this forum to give the impression they are doing something about their very poor customer service when they actually do nothing at all ! I thought pixmania.ie were shocking bad - they are even worse than that !

I ordered a mobile phone on this website over 3 weeks ago (I broke my old one). I paid using paypal (Thank God) and got a order number and shipping details. I then got a shipping number. No phone arrived after two weeks waiting. I offered to pay extra to ship the item quickly as I was badly stuck. I got no reply.

I found it hard to get hold of anyone about this and then I suddenly got a refund with no explanation. I received an email in a different language and had to get it translated. Turns out it was all lies. There was no phone ever shipped and the tracking number was lies. I was moved from one customer service agent to another . They couldn't care less.

After another week of trying to figure out what happened I got offered a 10euro discount on products the next time I want to order something ! Shocking stuff. And they limited the voucher to specific items (Phones not being one of them). They also said to activate it I would be required to contact them in advance etc.

I told them to put the 10 Euro in the Christmas Party Expense account and have a drink for themselves - shower of cowboys.

Really poor customer service. I would never buy anything from Pixmania again.

I was sceptical at first seeing as most of the reviews were negative but I chanced it anyway because the price was unbeatable. Also taking into consideration that people tend to only review somewhere when they have a negative experience. I bought the camera on pixmania for 515 whereas it was between 650 - 720 in shops. My order was confirmed and I was able to track the parcel all the way with UPS couriers. The camera is in perfect condition and came with everything it should. The only thing is that it comes with a European charger but they supply a Irish/UK adapter so it's fine. I also received a warranty with Nikon. I would definitely shop with them again.

Before buying from pixmania I decided to look at reviews to see how others had found their experiences with the company.
Frankly by the end of reading countless reviews I was very sceptical and doubtful of the site but they had great offers like no other sites so I just went for it.
I ordered a 32" Toshiba TV and during the ordering process was where I encountered my first problem. I tried to use my credit card but the site just read "Not valid card holder" when my card was working fine and I just used it earlier that day, this meant that I had to make a paypal account to get around this problem but it only took me 5 minutes to it wasnt too much hassle.
When the order was put through I was emailed by Pixmania that I would have to contact them over phone to confirm my order. This I felt was unnecessary and time consuming as I was waiting for over 13 minutes to talk to someone, also the call wasnt cheap to make either!
The costumer service however when I got through was swift and the people talking were kind and cooperative.
Now the status of my order was confirmed and I had to wait 4-6 working days for the TV to be delivered so I was delighted. Approaching the days of its arrival I realised a problem.... There was no set time for it to be delivered so people could easily not be here to collect the tv. I am still in school and everyone else is out of the house working. I rang up the delivery company and they told me that they dont do timed deliveries which wasnt great considering most people work during the day and are out of the house.
I luckily was sick on the day it was delivered so I was here to sign for it but if I wasnt who knows how long it would take to be here when someone is in the house.
Overall I am happy with my time with Pixmania but there were two flaws
. The unnecessary ringing for confirmation
. Not being able to get your order brought to your home at certain times
I will buy again from Pixmania and will be recommending it to others!

Today (2 March 2015) I have been trying to order a £120 satnav. After going through the process to register and provide card details I received and email asking for 2 proof of address documents before they would send me the satnav. Why do they make it so difficult for customers. I will never order from this company again. Shocking customer service.

I have never bought from this company and never will, the main reason being their awful reputation regarding customer service.
I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt but having tried in vain to contact their sales department (they may not have one) to ask a couple of questions regarding grey imports before possibly purchasing items, I would not go near them and would advise anyone to be very wary, there is no smoke without fire and buying items off pixmania seems to be a gamble.
I also notice all bad reviews are greeted with a response providing an email address for a pixmania mediator. (No contact number).

I purchased a Samsung TV. Money was taken out of my account on the 29th January. Received e-mail advising despatch, since then nothing until 3rd February when the tracking site merely stated "outbound". Have contacted pixmania on at least 4 occasions only response was to check the tracking site.
No customer service - no information when the TV will be delivered. Have brought from this company before, but never again.

I was looking to buy a projector and Pixmania had the cheapest price. After reading all the bad reviews I was pretty sceptical but I decided to give it a try anyway and I ordered the projector from them.
A few hours after placing the order, it was marked as not confirmed (no payment was taken thought). I started fearing and I send them an email straight away asking for clarifications. It was a Friday when I wrote them and I haven't received a reply until the next Monday (they probably don't work during the weekend). But from Monday onwards, they had been contacting me at each step of the order, giving tracking number, and ensuring that I had received the parcel ok. I have received the parcel about a week after placing the order and 4-5 days after it was confirmed.
So overall, I sweated a bit in fear at the beginning but it was all good at the end and customer service was quite good.

I was sceptical when I ordered my Wii U after reading endless amounts of bad reviews about Pixmania. However, my experience was great.

I ordered my Wii U, and two days later it had been dispatched according to the website. However, I didn't receive an email. I contacted the customer service, and within 24 hours I had an apology and the confirmation of it being shipped.

It took a little over the 3-5 days, but with New Year I wasn't too surprised. Any queries I had about delivery were dealt with quickly and in a professional manner by the customer service team. Couldn't recommend more highly!

They delivered the wrong product. They were slow to answer emails (at least 2 days). The customer service number seemed to be permanently engaged, with no queue or message. Final delivery of the correct product took about 4 weeks from the date of order. I couldn't recommend them.

I am still waiting on my order that I placed on 10th of December, it has been two weeks and tracking info doesn't work. I'm also waiting on a refund on an item sent out to me in error that was returned a week ago and still no refund!! Calls never answered and emails take days to get a response awful, awful service, PayPal dispute lodged!!!!

I have been trying to unsubscribe from Pixmania mailing list to no avail - I have tried several times, both using the "unsubscribe" button on the e-mail and from the website. This is not valuing customer privacy, and I will ever use the company again.

Ordered a product on Dec 4th checked on the 16th and noticed there was no orders on my account despite getting an order number and confirmation mail that it was despatched.

Phoned and they said it must of got lost somewhere in transit. Asked if I want it to be sent again or money back.
Of course money back!

Reading other reviews this seem to be way too common.

As many of you are doing which I done myself was reading loads of reviews online which done nothing for my confidence but my friend who is building my pc tower said he always uses them with no problems so I went with it . Order process is fine money goes right away then email confirming most of my order but some items not on list ?? With no real reason but on checking site saw were temporarily unavailable even do there when I ordered would have been nice to have got an email about this ,tracking the package is a non starter not sure if I was doing something wrong but couldn't track ... But in saying all that package arrived yesterday everything in it boxed ok and deliver man saying he is very busy with pixmania deliverys .. So all in all I got what I played for took a bit over a week but saved a lot of money ... O sorry one thing they forgot to send the adapter for the tv plug maybe they might now :) ... Would I use again yes 100% will I worry again till I check in my hallway probably yes... Just a better tracking and communication and it be a top site

Ordered a product from Pixmania and I'm still waiting delivery. No sign of my order and the tracking company has no record of my product. My order has been saying dispatched since 28th of November but yet I'm still waiting. Customer service is terrible the phone number won't connect and emails are left unanswered for days. This is meant to be a christmas gift but I don't know if it will ever arrive. Would never use PIXMANIA again and would strongly advise anyone to never use it. The small money saving actually isn't worth it as your product won't arrive on time and is seemingly "missing" yet what is amazing is that PIXMANIA are very quick to charge your card for your order yet don't fulfill the order in the specified time on their website. It's compeletely unacceptable and this company should be regulated and reported as from other reviews , I can see other people have experienced similar problems. They take your money and don't seem to deliver.

I ordered 2 TVs to the tune of around £1200 through Pixmania around 4 business days ago, i called today as the status is still "Awaiting Confirmation" to be told that its a trchnical issue (the same excuse they seem to tell alot of people) with the payment not registering to the order...WHAT?!!. I dont know how thats possibe. She said she will forward it to the IT team to check it out and the status should change in 2 days, she took my email and told me she would email me updates however this has happened to a few people from what i can see and they've had no update and no movement, this is a christmas gift. I'll give it the 2 days then im cancelling if no change.

[Update] Order cancelled, the only thing that went as planned was the refund, terrible service
