Do not trust these people with your heard-earned money.
So sad that Pirez is now a basket case.
I was one of Pirez's early customers and wrote the most glowing review at the time.
My recent experience puts them close to the top of this list of the worst suppliers I've ever had the misfortune to trust with my money.
My eBike battery seemed dead. I wanted Pirez to assess if it could be brought back to life, whether it could be repaired or would need to be replaced. Having declined to pay them over $100 just to have the battery collected, I delivered it to their appallingly inconveniently located headquarters myself. Despite having been told that they had not much on the next day, it took them nearly a month to take the cover off and decide I needed a new battery!
Given they had my old battery, you wouldn't reckon they could go wrong specifying a replacement that would fit (my eBike which they have worked on before).
When the replacement battery arrived, it would not fit my bike and couldn't be adapted to fit. You can judge the sort of people you'd have deal with at Pirez by the lame excuse I was given that the previous battery had been adapted. I pointed out to this infuriating dolt that I had reminded him when I left the dead battery that they, Pirez, had adapted it - so they will obviously know precisely what's required.
Naturally, I demanded a refund.
In the process, I discovered that they had charged over $100 to my credit card for picking up the battery, which, of course they never did.
Now they were insisting that I pay to send the unsuitable battery back.
HONESTLY, ARE THESE THE SORT OF PEOPLE YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH?
They virtually never answer their phone and they're only open 3 days a week from 10am to 3pm.
They eventually backed down and had the useless battery collected - and jerked me around to the very end with a late pick-up and, finally, having to chase them for the refund.
NOTHING WOULD MAKE ME DEAL WITH PIREZ EVER AGAIN.
