This is an amazing awrning, well designed and very easy to put up. We have a high top vw t4 and were put off at first as this is designed for high campers and our awning rail was in the normal position.

I am glad I called outdoor mania and they said that people with high tops like us throw the guy ropes over the top of the camper. We did just that and had an amazingly tight fit.

I pre-ordered an awning that was only likely to become available very shortly before our trip so on the advice of Outdoor Mania. They were helpful with regard to the product and advise on getting delivery in time. I contacted them nearer the deliver due date to check as suggested. Over a period of a couple of weeks we were in contact ...always the same lady who remembered me and who chased to order to get it as a priority and organised direct delivery (really important as their supplier only had limited availability of early stock) They could not have have been more helpful and committed to follow up for me and I would not have got the item in time without them

Item wasn't even in stock!
After ordering I was advised a lead time of a few weeks, which was not acceptable to me so I asked for the order to be cancelled. Shame it allowed me to order in the first place without some kind of notification that this was an 'on-order' item. Bit of a waste of time for all concerned really!
***Update 01/05/2018*** - since Outdoormania have apportioned blame to the consumer (me), I would like to also add that I was contacted by the Customer Service Team to check that I was aware this item was on a pre-order, something I'm sure they would not have felt the need to do if this had been obvious at the time of ordering. Nor was any mention of the delay made in order confirmation.
I am not in the habit of wasting everyone's time, especially not my own, by ordering things that aren't available but I do take exception when I am blamed for such a mistake.
I will probably give Outdoormania a miss when I am looking for further camping equipment.
***Further update 2/5/2018*** - the order confirmation did NOT include information about the 'pre-order' status of this item. I am happy to email this if it is required. I appreciate mistakes happen, but can assure you that the error was not mine.

23.04.2018 In regard to my feedback I was told delivery was one week. Then it was changed to the middle of May. If there is any doubt I have all the emails. Thank you
