Excellent experience with this company. I screwed up the delivery address on the order - they fixed it straight away. Then there was a question over delivery - which they also fixed. Really impressed with the responsiveness of customer service and the willingness to go the extra mile.

We purchased a Petrol Blue Cubo Oak Bench from Opumo. The product had not arrived by 30 days so we contacted them to find out where our delivery was. We were told that we couldn't expect it until end of August, even though there is no mention of a long delivery time on their website. We then asked to cancel the purchase as we decided we would prefer to buy from somewhere else that could deliver quicker, at which point they changed our delivery date suddenly to 15th July. In good faith we continued with our order but by 15th July there was still no sign of our order. When it did finally arrive it was not as described or pictured on the website.
Our complaint and request of a refund was met with a refusal on the basis that we had assumed the product looked a certain way based on the picture they had provided. I am not really sure how else you are supposed to know what an online product looks like other than by the picture(s) provided!
I would strongly advise against using this company. It is a real shame as I was making a concerted effort to work with small companies and producers rather than the big brands, but this is a small company to avoid.
*Updated review in response to Opumo's reply* To be clear the one picture is of a Petrol blue bench and the description is:
Made from solid oak and oak veneer. All natural and stained oak finishes have a 5% gloss lacquer.
The stained oak would imply the bench is petrol blue as per the picture

Having now ordered twice from Opumo, I just wanted to thank the Customer Support team! They answered my questions very quickly and I felt comfortable throughout the whole process. It's definitely not a given when ordering online. Keep up the good work!

Awful Experience - Rude Customer Service
I have ordered swim shorts and it said 3-7 days for delivery.
After three days no one contacted me and I was worried about the delivery date because we were leaving for vacation.
I have sent an email but no one responded to that. Like the company doesn't exit.
Next day I have called them and asked about the product. They said they don't whether it is shipped. And promised to call me back. (by the way in year 2019, they are sending emails to other companies to learn whether an item is shipped or not, no supply chain logistics etc.)
After four hours I have called them back and asked the situation. The said they don't know if it is shipped and if it is shipped I cannot cancel the order. I didn't know what to do because nothing is guaranteed. So I was thinking and then the customer service lady Olya told me off (literally shouted) that I have to make up my mind. I am very calm by the way.
I said cancel it then. And she said "I cannot guarantee that!".
Like a comedy show. Then I said I will decide and send an email.
I have sent an email in 10 minutes and she wrote back as if nothing happened and she will gladly cancel the order and I will get refunded within the same day.
It has been the next day and they DIDN'T refund me.
I have sent another email and no one wrote back.
I had to initiate a dispute through PayPal to get my money back...
Long story, I know but I have lost few hours of my life to this pathetic company.
Probably they will reply like in other reviews with the same lame excuse that they are a marketplace business, blah blah.
But this is 21st century and you have to have control over your business model, this is not acceptable, especially shouting at your customers on the phone.
Stay away.
UPDATE: You can see from the below response that they claim that they have informed me about not being able to cancel etc.

I bought some trainers from Opumo on this order but I’ve lost count of how much stuff I’ve purchased from them. The “Club” is excellent - you get a little discount on all future orders which means I keep coming back.
Customer service is always great as well when I need to return.

UPDATED REVIEW: Purchased a product that turned out to be faulty, OPUMO tried to secure me a replacement but unfortunately the brand were too slow to respond. After a few emails back and forth OPUMO ended up refunding me in full so that I was not out of pocket.
The communication that I received from OPUMO was courteous and prompt, and I am satisfied that they brought my case to a resolution. Thank you OPUMO for dealing with my case - it's just a shame that I didn't end up with the working product I had intended on buying!

I would highly recommend Opumo. Customer service is first class. The issue I had with one of the items I ordered being out of stock was dealt with curtesy and efficiency by Olya and Laura. The other items I ordered arrived promptly and exceeded my expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Opumo again.

J'ai commandé on 7 May une paire de chaussure (Off White Low 1 Sneakers - Oliver Cabell ). ça fait presque un mois et ils ne sont pas encore arrivé. j'ai parlé, il y a 10 jours avec Victor Cheung et il m'a rassuré que le colis est bien en route... Aujourd'hui je reçois une message du Laura Valkonen en disant que le colis a été envoyé aujourd'hui. ça veut dire qu'il va arriver en 10-12 jours.
beaucoup des mensonges. j'espère qu'il ne s'agit pas des arnaques...

I’d recommend Opumo to anyone and I’ll certainly shop there again. Unfortunately I received the wrong item however both Ahmed and Olya dealt with the exchange process very well coordinating with the supplier and keeping me up to date. Great effort guys.
