Quick contact by website form.
And for them there is no problem wich they cant solve. Big thx for Peny one more Time.
Asked for a replacement set of earpieces to be sent to me and a whole bag provided on a complimentary basis. Great service by Penny Wilkinson.
I have just spoken to the rudest person in customer service!
My lamp in my Optoma HD141X just exploded showering glass everywhere. It is only 18 months old with about 1200 lamp hours used, no lamp warning, no over heating warning it just exploded.
Optoma advertise that their lamp should run for 6500 hours on eco mode but the rude customer service staff said "if I'd bothered to do my homework you would see that it actually lasts up to 1000 hours! And the bulb shouldn't do that so what had I done! Well you'll have to get it serviced first then change the lamp it should cost you about £300!" Not only are Optoma not interested in helping its customers, they also lie about they product when advertising it to trick its customers!
I'm absolutely disgusted with the service I have received, there is obviously a problem with the projector for it to have done this but since they've already had my money they don't care!!

Shocking bad customer service as stated below so this should come as no shock to anyone.
They will not repair my HD141x projector just 2 weeks out of warranty even though the bulb exploded and pieces of glass went all over my floor and inside the projector. As stated like the woman below me it didn't give me a warning as to the low life of the bulb, it just dangerously exploded.
Most companies perform the goodwill gesture of repairing something that was so expensive and so close to warranty.
The first technical support agent kept asking me to check the bulb life which I couldn't obviously because it had blown up. duh. They're a projector company and they can't work this out?
Instead they chose to use a fake warranty fact about the lamp warranty being 6 months even though the projector was 12 months. What?
I disproved this by going to the warranty section on their page. That's my entire 'technical' support experience for you, they were only trying to worm their way out of repairing something that 99% of stores will do without question.
This has been going on for 5 days now. Be very careful, I'm never buying from them again and neither should you.
So on Sunday my projector made a loud bang and the screen went black. No lamp hours warning, no overheating warning, nothing even though the manual says it will do both. I am no novice worked for Sony, had an Optoma before. I rang Optoma and got the rudest customer service woman I have ever come across, she wasn't listening, talked over me and I couldn't get a word in. I was happy to send the projector back, for them to do the relevant analysis, and for the projector to be cleaned of the glass and to ensure no further damage has been caused as a result of the explosion, but I was told I would have to pay a minimum £150!! Surely if the projector gave no screen warning of either exceeding hours or over heating, which it says in the manual it should do so, then there is a fault with the projector which is covered by warranty. At the least the projector should switch itself off, if it overheats and I didn't do that either. I finally was told I must have misunderstood her, when after having got off the phone and emailed her boss, which made me furious. I'm not sure about the any misunderstanding, I said in reply. All I was hearing was the continued reluctance to admit any fault, or even consider that the customer in this case might have a case, especially when in addition to all the upset caused from the moment there was an explosion in my living room, the warranty of the lamp was only exceeded by 14 working days!
The manner in which she spoke to me earlier today was appalling, over talking a customer while they are trying to explain and then dismissing them when they do get a word in edgewise is not professional, and unacceptable.
My final words to this customer service person was 'So now that I have your undivided attention because we are using the written word and you cannot impatiently interrupt me, I suggest we proceed as follows: I send the projector back, for you to do the relevant analysis, and for the projector to be cleaned of the glass and to ensure no further damage has been caused as a result of the explosion. If that analysis shows there were no indicators of overheating or over hours before the explosion then there is a case for the projector being faulty and then we discuss how we might proceed and for all of this to be in writing as I find your manner to be extremely upsetting, especially as I am chronically ill, and stress is a trigger for that illness' I haven't heard back and I find it incomprehensible how a company can treat people so badly and get away with it, shameful

Unbelievably poor service.
First they send me a faulty projector (second time) and now it is taking an eternity for their service provider to fix it and send it back.
Absolutely NOT recommended for their ridiculously poor service and unbelievably poor quality products.

Certainly good projectors but you better hope you don't have any issue because the after sale service is bad.
I received a flawed projector and I have to pay for the shipping cost and insurance to the reparation center. In France this is illegal.
The customer service didn't offer me any solution and closed my ticket
Bought a optoma gt1080, my third in the past 10 years on the 30th sept 2015. four months in and the projectors bulb popped. since its under warranty i didnt change the bulb and had it sent to their service dept to find out after two weeks of waiting they will not change their own fitted bulb. needless to say my next projector wont be an optoma i have zero confidence they will stand by their product. they have also changed the returns process and you are now required to pay the postage to them as well.

I wasn't a promoter of Optoma until we received a new account manager in Dean who chipped away at myself and now I am an active promoter of Optoma in my client base, his knowledge passion and speed of response is second to none, we have worked on a number of deals that wouldn't have closed without his assistance.
One thing I have noticed is the number of mistakes in your marketing material, poor spelling and grammer on numerous occasions, not sure who sanity checks marketing material if anyone.
just switched to Optoma after many years of using Epson at my company, we find these are brighter and most cruitially lower maintaince, DLP technology has no filters which saves our engineers lots of time every few months cleaning them.
Bought a Pico Projector from their eBay shop - would never buy another one again.
Firstly when I got the Pico Projector it took them ages to send it, it took me asking on their facebook page where is it before someone decided to respond and say they were sorting it (hmmm.... it seems that once the problem is on their facebook page for other people to view they suddenly wake up and deal with the problem).
After having the projector for just under a year the chip failed on it and caused all white dots across the projected image. They took it in and repaired it under warranty - again it took ages to be returned to me, and again the only way I got any response from them was to post on their facebook wall.
About 2 months after that the HDMI connector failed so now it can't show colour properly (obviously a dry-joint on the connector), but unfortunately it was out of it's warranty so I'll need to get my friend who knows about electronics to re-solder it up for me.
For a £250 projector I would expect a lot better quality, and the reviews of the projector were so good. Certainly will be staying away from Optoma next time, nearly was put off because I hadn't heard of the name and nearly went for a Philips or Epson one but this one claimed to be far more brighter than either of those. Next time I'll stick with either a Philips or an Epson or possibly Panasonic, all well known brands and reliable.
