Don't Buy POS does not work, zero support
UPDATE they have now stopped everything and are trying to pedal a new worthless scam of a POS Builder called Final POS. It looks just like Oliver when you test it.
Thought this would be the solution to our pos and kiosk needs. Bought a large lifetime license nothing worked right from the start. then 2 weeks after purchase they decided they wouldn't have Kiosk available anymore or support it. (I paid extra for the Kiosk license). Response from chat support was to bad for you we don't do that anymore. I thought well we could use the POS portion of it and it DOES NOT WORK either, i paid a large sum of money to integrate this into multiple woocommerce stores that had physical locations as well and turns out this is all scam, please don't purchase from them

Our Oliver POS System has not been functional for over 3 weeks now. The company instigated an upgrade that has affected the integration with our WooCommerce platform. This has caused a major disruption to our operations as we cannot conduct transactions for customers and have to manually enter sales into our MYOB platform. 100's of man hours are wasted because of this.
Very limited communication from Olive POS. the developers just cant seem to fix the problem and provide no answers. we are not the only ones affected. Avoid the Oliver POS platform. Your business will suffer greatly if they do an upgrade and cannot figure out the issues.
I've used OliverPOS since late 2018…
I've used OliverPOS since late 2018 when - to my surprise - I found myself as an early customer. The initial experience was poor but with some efforts from the team at Oliver, i managed to get it working - not perfectly - but to a level where it did what it needed to do. Sadly, over the last few months, the product has taken a nose dive. Reporting is shambolic to put it mildly. 35-50% of the transactions aren't being recorded within their own reporting tools and there is no way to reconcile payments. It was only after spending hours trying to reconcile Oliver with my card payments, it dawned on me what the issue might be. Fortunately i was able to export Woo transactions to get the right(-ish) information in terms of transactions but no help with payment method as the Woo field is blank. Sent emails and webchats with zero response.
What is frustrating is that they seem to have abandoned Oliver for a new product called Final POS. I was told that the Final infrastructure would be made available to those of us on lifetime licences but who knows.
Sadly, I've heard back and have been suggested that my needs may be served better by another provider. Such a shame but right now, I would advise anyone to avoid not only Oliver but also FinalPOS.

This app is not working fine. my customer often encounters problems and support doesn't reply, either by e-mail or via chat.
BAD EXPERIENCE EVER... I would like to be refund to choose another point of sale software.
Terrible Experience – Waste of Money
I purchased the Pro version of Oliver POS expecting an advanced and reliable POS solution with proper technical support. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
The system never worked as promised. It constantly failed to reflect accurate inventory, especially for variable products like t-shirts with different sizes and colors. This made managing stock virtually impossible.
Technical support was completely unhelpful. Despite multiple attempts, they never resolved the issue. They repeatedly blamed my website setup, even after I offered—and actually did—a fresh, clean installation of WordPress and Oliver POS. The same problems persisted.
To make matters worse, they refused to refund my money, despite the software clearly not working as advertised. It felt like they were just trying to deflect responsibility instead of providing real solutions.
In the end, I paid for a system that never functioned correctly, received no meaningful support, and was denied a refund. Save yourself the frustration—Oliver POS is unreliable, unsupported, and a complete waste of money.
Support up until they have your money!
If you want a company that offers support and is responsive up until they get your money, then nothing else afterwards, this company is for you.
All talk to get the sale, once they have the sale, they don't want to know you.

At first we were quite satisfied, we used the free version for a while, then switched to the paid version of the online POS. It all went downhill from there.
Orders are double booked, the whole register gets "stuck" and afterwards orders are either registered double or not at all. Over the holiday period is was very busy and the POS failed to work time after time. We had to write receipts manually for our customers, what a waste of our time and money.
Barcode scanning gives the wrong product or nothing at all, while the product is surely there, stock gets missing because of all this, what a mess.
At first support was great, after we made the payment they probably though "just figure it out yourself now, we have our money".
We are currently looking for an alternative as they do not even respond to our questions anymore.
What a waste this was.

Hardware not working for months
We purchased software and hardware from Oliver. Despite promises, the hardware still does not work after 1.5 years (!). We cannot use the self-scan kiosks and handheld scanner because they do not have a license for payment traffic in Europe (which is the reason given). Despite promises in zoom meetings that they will take back the hardware, no further response has been forthcoming for weeks. This cost us thousands of euros. Both Austin (the seller) and Mathias (the CEO) do not respond despite emails, telephone calls and the chat function on the website. We have paid for both software and hardware that we cannot use. I still hope they resolve it properly and take the hardware back.

Top Notch Support - Over $1M In Sales Processed
I have been using Oliver for over a year for a client's POS system. The client was able to train dozens of new hires on the system easily and we have had minimal issues the entire year. The small issues we did run into were promptly handled by Oliver Support.
For reference we were only on the basic plan which does not come with the priority support and they still went above and beyond to ensure our success.
I have tried other Woo commerce POS options and Oliver is by far the best option with the best people for support.
Highly Recommended.

Anti-intuitive - DO NOT USE
"Oliver" The business is developed from a very anti-intuitive standpoint. Where other companies in this field ask for feedback & welcome ideas to improve, "Oliver" would rather force you into a prison sentence style agreement whereby they will only accept simple ideas to fix & improve their current service if they are accompanied by massive financial bribes - if they're not - prepare to be passive aggressively abused!
This company & its team is by far the most corrupt I have come across after 15 years in this field. I have reached out to the CEO to offer him an opportunity to respond or rectify the above, without response. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend all businesses & entrepreneurs avoid this company, save your money & invest in any of the hundreds of competitors available. You'll never face worse customer service or have more soul sucking business dealings than with this one - and if you do, buy a lottery ticket because you're awfully lucky. Such a shame to have had to deal with something of this nature in such an easy field.

The system does not update product…
The system does not update product quantities. The receipts does not print all information. Some time my totals in reports dont add up.

Great plugin and fantastic support team
We run retail store that sells both online and in-store. As our business grew and our in-store traffic increased significantly we realised we needed a POS plugin that was faster, responsive, and more flexible than the one we were using.
The Oliver plugin works seamlessly and the set up was painless. Within a few hours we had switched from our previous provider to Oliver.
With Oliver we resolved issues such as search speed, VAT and discount calculation issues and more.
It’s definitely a higher price point than where we were but it’s encouraging to see that there’s always someone (not a bot!) available to have a real conversation with and the team seem to be interested in feedback and are willing to consider new features or improvements.
