The food at the restaurant is dreadful. It is vastly over priced and we were so unimpressed that we were on the verge of rteurning it and asking for our money back. The fish and chips was an appaling waste of money. The portion of the actual fish was tiny but the batter ound it was tasteless and hugely over cooked. The chips were mushy, not well cooked and tasted as if the oil they were cooked in hadn't been changed in ages. A bottle of coke was outragiously over priced and the steak melt in a bread roll wasn't wort half of what they cahrged for it. Again the chips were mushy and undercooked and tasted as if the oil needed changing. What a complete waste of money this meal was. We would never return to the restaurant. The Garden Centre part was not a lot better with everything being about a third more expensive than the same item can be bought elsewhere. This place is a rip=off joint, the food is dreadful and not on our list of places to ever visit again.

Tried filling in the contact us form and click "SEND", then nothing happens. Have tried on Chrome and Edge browsers, neither work. I've got all the fields completed and consent ticked.

I purchased 4 hydrangea plants last summer. 3 survived 1,which cost almost £30 died a death! Contacting the Riverdale branch I was advised by a very helpful gent to take photos of it and bring them into the store and ask for Rob in the garden section. This I did along with the photos of the surviving plants. Rob wasn't available but my details were taken by an assistant and told Rob would contact me. Dispite calling them 4 days later we are now 11 days later and still no response. Dreadful customer service. Will be shopping at British Gardens just up the road from them from now on

Nice restaurant.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean.
All of the staff were so friendly and helpful.
I asked for a vegan option and was accommodated nicely.
Food and presentation was good.
Also looking around the shop was a pleasant experience.
Looking forward to my next visit.

I ordered a very nice Tv unit and it was, unfortunately, delivered damaged. Ross in customer services was brilliant and acted immediately to despatch a replacement. The damaged cabinet was collected and my new cabinet looks great. Well done Notcutts team and your couriers.

I was looking for a garden water feature, greeter contacted relevant member of staff Peter who was very helpful. Got my water feature 😀

I place an order for food items online before Christmas 2023 and only revieved part of it initially. The rest of the items turned up once month after the order date. The items were supposed to be a gift for Christmas and I didn't reveive compensation for delay i.e voucher etc. The delivery experience was poor as they only sent the remaining items after I complained which says alot for their system of checking things. I will never order with this company online again.

Just a comment regarding the cafe in Norwich-

Delicious sausage rolls and food generally good but why, oh, why, can they not make a good cup of coffee??

They have professional machines but serve up dishwater and there is little difference between a cappuccino, latte or flat white - terrible!!!

Come on Notcutts…..learn how to do it right!!

We have always had quality plants and consistently good service from Notcutts but have recently been blown away by how well we have been treated. There was a manufacturing issue with some garden furniture we bought last year and Notcutts were unbelievably helpful in putting this right, in particular Stephanie and Matt in the garden furniture department, making sure we were never left without garden furniture, delivering the replacement and picking up the defective furniture and helping us put it together. First class service.

Probably the best Customer Service in any store.Debbie on the till was so helpful and very professional, a great visit.

Ordered a £500 parasol online as the colour wasn’t available in store.
Turned up completely the wrong colour anyway- it had a taupe cover, but was a charcoal grey parasol.
After going back and forth with pictures CS offered to collect and refund.
3 weeks later I had to threaten them with trading standards to get them to arrange a courier.
Courier came and 4 days later I’ve not even so much as had confirmation that the item has been returned to them let alone my refund being processed.

This has been ongoing for over a month now and is absolutely disgusting.

They have effectively stolen my money!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE THIEVES

Went to Norcutts, Bold Heath today and the staff were amazing very knowledgeable and helped my wife and I to choose the plants that were suitable for our garden. Also Fiona on checkout was great she helped us out with our new membership and was smiling throughout and very chatty which is nice to see and clearly loves the job she is doing and is a credit to the store.

What a smashing place. Hilary on checkout is such a warm pleasant lady who offers help and an infectious smile. Wonderful staff all round on the shop floor. Great selection of plants but do get the privilege card to save 10% otherwise it is a tad on the pricey side.

It was a nice experience staff very pleasant and helpful. One criticism please please bring back the option to use your privilege members card in your restaurant and cafes you would get so much more customers coming and returning. The pandemic has pasted and we are all trying to get back to normal lives so this would be a very good thing. Please bring it back from a loyal customer 🙂 I am sure I speak on behalf of a lot of customers 🙂

We visted the Norwich branch yesterday, been here 3 times now, so gave it a fair chance BUT......Awfully ran bussness in my opinion. All there products are so over priced compared to other shops selling same, BnQ is better for garden stuff price wise, staff seems to know very little when asked, also staff treat you like s**t when there, as if your a potential thief, following you around watching you when you are doing nothing but looking at products, makes you feel on edge, horriable experience, especially one women who works there, she's around late 30s early 40s , dark hair, plain looking and very over weight too, tight noncutts uniform on, doesn't seem to own a full length mirror back at home judging by it, who wants to see that all spilling out of there clothing? Restaurant is not good either, VERY expensive low grade cheap tasting food, coffees taste either over boiled and bitter and tea tastes of nothing, cakes are over sweet and dry, so makes you know its made with cheapest ingredients as possible, we had the baked potatoes and inside my potato was a black area,
Great quality checking eh, and the filling was watery and tasteless, I don't get why people go there regularly to eat, must have bland palates and money to burn, there's plenty of much better places to eat than here. I'd avoid this place like the plaque, this place need a HUGE shake up if you ask me.

My friend and I visited Notcutts Widnes this afternoon for lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed being served by Margaret. She was friendly, welcoming and very helpful, especially when I accidentally knocked my latte over and all down myself! She was so kind, fetching a mop and cloths for me to clean myself up and then a second coffee to replace the one I threw all over myself! Such a lovely lady and a true asset to the company.

We went to the Widnes Notcutts and met Margaret at lunchtime. She was excellent, friendly and pleasant to talk to. She made our experience so much better.

Called en route at NOTCUTTS MARLOW for a snack lunch since they are a good Woodbridge nursery of repute. Menu OK. Price OK. Friendliness OK. Table had not been wiped clean. Food took 15 mins to arrive. Jacket potato & cheese. Ugh. Side salad had been placed on a cold plate. Baked potato sliced in quarters onto the cold plate so it was just warm. Cold grated cheddar in a ramekin was added to the plate. Obvious way to eat it was to empty the cold cheese over the potato which then made the potato completely cold. All very convenient for the cook, no butter on the potato and any option - cheese, beans, etc - added separately. Afterwards clear the table oneself but no sign of tables being wiped down. Definitely avoid at all costs.
