I had the same negative experience regarding shipping as many others reviewing here. Just... don't buy from Newegg. They'll take forever to ship your item, you cancel the order, then they send it to you anyways and then demand exorbitant shipping costs to return it.

After I ordered a processor and the delivery time got pushed out 3 times. I contacted NewEgg and they said the package was "Lost in Transit" and automatically started a claim but that got stalled too.

By which time I already ordered another processor since I was told the first one was lost.

After 3 weeks, the lost package finally showed up. I contacted NewEgg to return it and they refused to refund the shipping charges saying "it was paid to the courier".
This is the same courier that lost the package and then took 3 weeks to find it. If that was handled by a bunch of amateurs they would have been more efficient!!

Will NEVER buy anything from NewEgg again after this terrible experience!! It's either Amazon or local. Never NewEgg... Never..

I tried returning an order worth 2K CAD. I returned the products and next thing you know, they void the RMA and suspend your account and never refund you back. Horrific Customer service. They are worth being closed down.

Terrible company with one agent telling you something and another agent telling you a different story.

Tried to return a power supply and never was able to do so.

Extreme review suppression. I can count multiple listings where people have reviewed it as 1 star yet it will not show their written review. I have 2 reviews which have not been posted after 2 months. Obviously if consumers are critical of their listings, they will not let you know about it. disgusting

Kept getting void orders. S*itty website

A processor ordered was sent to another city shown by the UPS tracking. Two weeks later, no replacement. When I called the new excuse was a refund was authorized four days earlier. STILL NO REFUND! I sure won't be buying from these grifters again!

The actual store and merchandise is OK, but don't buy anything with a rebate, this involves shady third-party rebate companies and you will most likely never get your rebate from them.

They kept pushing me into committing fraud.

Had to return a motherboard and they asked me to wait for purolator to come and return it to the warehouse.

-Had my replacement early, however purolator never came.

-I've been asked to keep a broken cardboard box for a month in my house. (Forced)

-I've been asked to send the motherboard IN the broken box. (Can't use another one)

-Now I need to ship the motherboard myself, pay for a new box at my fees, contact support that extended my rma without my permission just to let them know I'll ship it, then I have to extend the rma because it WILL expire still.

-No transparency, no contact between supports. No follow up with a brain cell (Follow up is always an unrelated issue)

-Staff almost canceled the rma and kept asking me to end the procedure. However that's committing fraud.

They don't read anything or look for anything, they can't do much and doesn't know either.

- No french support, for newegg.ca, its not even legal.

The famous newegg, GREATLY lowered the quality of its service, almost becoming the dead tigerdirect.ca from the past.

PS:Even if I let newegg know, - It doesn't change the poor service and dumbed down support.(Also no compensation as been offered in 6 1h long chat support, even thought the employes made a ton of mistakes.
(I believe newegg is frauding purolator, my motherboard is DOA due to testing at asus, but they pushed and forced me to say its purolators handling of the box.)

C'est très surprenant pour moi de voir une proportion si élevée de commentaires négatifs sur NEWEGG.CA.

Mon expérience avec cette compagnies en ligne est totalement positive et j'ai acheté régulièrement sur leur site. J'ai aussi eu à retourner du matériel commandé par erreur ou brisé dans le transport et ce fut facile grâce à une procédure simple et efficace.

Dans toutes les situations sans exception le matériel est arrivé rapidement et tel que demandé. Le service à la clientèle est très disponible, efficace et courtois.

Mais voilà, presque tous les commentaires négatifs que je vois ici sont de la part de francophones se plaignant surtout du manque de service en français. C'est peut être vrai mais ça ne change rien à la qualité de cette entreprise. Ils ont tous oubliés semble-t-il qu'ils sont avant tout des citoyens du monde dans un marché mondialisé où tout le monde communique en anglais parce que c'est la langue internationale des affaires. S'ils sont trop abrutis pour apprendre une 2e langue et exiger des autres qu'ils parlent une langues qui sommes toute vient très loin dans la liste des langues parlées dans le monde et bien tant pis pour eux...

I am a new customer with NewEgg. And my experience with them is catastrophic.
I ordered a tablet on 2020/09/09 and got it on 2020/09/10, but it was the wrong item. They shipped a bleu one instead the black that shows on the order. I called for a replacement, and I followed your return procedure to return the item. I called for a followup about the replacement a week later, and the agent processed my return as a refund with the wrong amount. I called again, and another agent refunded my the amount missing and helped me to replace another order. However, she charged me with a much higher price than the initial one I ordered. I had to call again, and I waited for 30 minutes to talk to someone. That agent spoke to me for 2 minutes and she said she would check something for me, but she never came back to me.
Please do not order anything from them.

Not so good prices when compared to other retailers.

i bought mine NEW,,, not referb.... from canada computers in 2014 for 350.00 tax included.. and you guys want 700.00 for old tech that came out 7 years ago... that goes for the asus sabertooth x79 878.00... i bought new for 370.00 tax included,, i own both still, and cant believe you mark up the price 300%

I was missing the wireless receiver from the wireless mouse and keyboard combo I ordered. Newegg acknowledged that I should have received it but refused to do anything to fix their mistake. Newegg refused to send the missing part. They would not refund or replace the combo. Told me it was my responsibility to buy a replacement. They ridiculously offered to let me ship the combo back to them without replacement or refund. No better than thieves.

- Aucun respect pour leurs clients francophones. Aucune communication en français.Lorsque vous leur soumettez un commentaire en français sur leurs produits , il n'est pas publié car il est considéré contenir un langage offensif.
- Le prix affichés de certains articles peuvent baisser quelques jours après que vous avez commandé.
- Newegg sont très lents à traiter leurs commandes et UPS sont aussi pires dans leurs délais de livraison.
- Leur politique de remboursement stipule que Newegg se réserve le droit de ne pas rembourser les frais de transport et pourrait comporter des frais de réapprovisionnement.
- Les vendeurs affiliés ne sont pas soumis à la politique de remboursement de Newegg.

Order cancelled by Newegg, but no refund. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS. The whole company is a scam.

horrible experience with Newegg.ca
they refused to refund money, that I have "bent the CPU socket pins" and that this was beyond warranty.
I have assembled many computers in the past years and I'm admin for a big company. and never had problems with CPU sockets. It's easy: You line up the 2 small protrusions on the socket with the 2 notches on the CPU, make sure the CPU lies nice and flat on the socket, and finally push the lever down gently and lock the CPU in place.
Ifyou want to buy , buy from other retailer online.(Amazon)
