Failed to splicer what was in proof and what I paid for $1100
I’m posting this review while I wait to see how Neon Signs Now handles an issue with my order, and I will update this review based on how they choose to resolve it\.
I placed a custom order and was very specific about the requirements before production\. I specifically requested that the signs have NO holes, that there be colored vinyl backing behind the lettering so the words would still be visible when the LEDs were turned off, and that certain hardware/power drivers not be included\.
Unfortunately, what I received did not match those specifications\. The signs were made with holes, the backing behind the lettering was not done as requested, and I received hardware that I had specifically said I did not need\.
Their proposed resolution so far has been to offer me a 10% discount because they say the holes are not visible through the LED neon\. That does not resolve the issue for me\. Whether the holes interfere with the LEDs isn’t the point—I specifically ordered the signs without holes\.
I initially tried to compromise and offered to accept just one replacement sign, even though two signs were ordered incorrectly\. At this point, considering the multiple discrepancies, I have requested that both signs be remade according to the original specifications\.
Mistakes happen\. What matters to me now is how a company handles a mistake once it is brought to their attention\.
I am currently giving Neon Signs Now the opportunity to correct the order and provide the two signs as originally requested\. I will update this review once I see how they respond and whether they stand behind their custom work and correct their production error\.
Hopefully, my update will be a positive one\.
