Since Kayleigh Bonner has taken over Georgie's classes, the improvement in her reading writing and numeracy is really noticeable. Her school have commented how impressed they are too with this marked improvement and she has been put up to higher levels in her learning groups. This has really benefitted Georgie and her self-confidence. Georgie looks forward to seeing Kayleigh and stays engaged throughout their lessons which previously would be impossible for Georgie. Kayleigh really has worked wonders, I am so grateful. The admin and finance team are so helpful and responsive too. I wanted my payments to come out four weekly and they were able to facilitate this although they usually bill monthly. I was wary about starting the tutor sessions as it is an expense which impacts my tiny household budget, but the improvement in my daughter's learning and confidence is worth every penny.

All of the teachers my child has had over the two years have helped them want to learn. When they wrote their reports on a weekly basis, some of the went into great detail, which helped me know what my child had been taught. When my child was in school they didn't want to learn at all...well done to the 9 teachers over the last 2 years.x

I would also like to say a massive thankyou for helping Elliott whilst he has had his tuition, his school work has improved massively. We are actually looking at greater depth in some of his SATS papers and that’s down to you so honestly

Harjeet has been absolutely fantastic — patient, supportive, and really encouraging. My daughter feels so much more confident since starting her sessions, and I’ve seen a big improvement not only in her work but in her attitude towards learning too.

She explains things clearly and takes the time to make sure everything is fully understood, which has made such a difference. My daughter actually looks forward to her sessions, which says it all!

The experience for my daughter wasn’t brilliant. I looked in to extra tuition to focus on the crossover questions for the higher/foundation maths paper in preparation for GCSE. Just a couple of lessons in, the post meeting notes were sloppy/copy & pasted with incorrect dates listed, we had issues with the ActiveLearning App and no response when this was reported so the homework couldn’t be accessed, and the tutor my daughter was assigned to was distracted with her own baby during the second lesson - not acceptable when paying £42 for 40 minutes tuition.

My daughter has really enjoyed her English lessons. The tutor had ben very flexible and this had made my daughter love learning again.

My daughter is tutored by the Lovely Lynn Golding who is absolutely amazing. My daughter struggles to concentrate and sit still however, Lynn has still managed to support and help Gracie improve. Highly recommend.

I don't like this company, because there hiding subscription fees, and when I went to cancel, I had to pay for an extra month even though I was done with the tutor.

NLG is a good company to choose if you are looking for a tutor. They are very professional, get back to you quickly with any queries I’ve had and been receptive and amicable with changing lessons where necessary. Marisa Liew, my sons tutor was very patient and improved his confidence with maths, trying different learning techniques , although he still failed his exam by 2 marks after having over 12 months weekly lessons but he does struggle in this subject.

Toni Wilkinson has been an incredible tutor for our daughter. Her clear explanations, patience, and personalised approach have made a noticeable difference in both confidence and understanding. Our daughter genuinely enjoys her lessons and has made real progress under Toni’s guidance.

Very professional

Since Fatima started lessons with Shifani Wafee, I have seen a significant improvement in her confidence and learning. In less than a month, Fatima has made great progress in English and has reached Greater Depth, which is a fantastic achievement. In Maths, she has also improved and is now working at the expected level, which she was not reaching before.

From the very beginning, Shifani has maintained excellent communication with home and quickly built a great relationship with Fatima. This has helped Fatima feel comfortable, supported, and motivated in her learning.

Fatima has felt very motivated while preparing for the 11 Plus. She has been able to work through past papers with confidence and feels very positive about her progress.

Shifani is always punctual and very dedicated. On several occasions she has stayed a little longer when Fatima needed extra help to understand something, which we really appreciate.

Every lesson with Shifani is a valuable opportunity for Fatima to grow and learn. I am truly grateful to have Shifani as her tutor and for the support, encouragement, and dedication she shows in helping Fatima succeed.

For the last few months Nadia Awan has been my 9 year old daughters tutor and in my daughters words “she’s a 5 star ⭐”. We started the sessions to develop my daughter’s confidence with her English work in school but also build confidence in her own abilities to do things and to know it’s ok to not always get things 100%. Nadia has made her feel at ease from day one. If she can see my daughter is getting overwhelmed or struggling she straight away changes tact to make my daughter feel at ease again. Nadia never points out little mistakes that might be made, she will always give praise for giving something a go and then revisit either through the spelling homework set or in the next lesson. My daughters confidence has grown massively and the knowledge and support she has been given has been amazing! 🤩
