I took my car to Worksop garage for a service and according to the service email car was fine but people kept saying my car was leaking after the service I kept saying it wasn’t my car it’s been serviced sheet says it’s sound but then noticed a patch on my drive way so I rang them up the guy on the phone said it got a gear box leak I’m like so why’s that not on the service sheet it says my cars fine he said I don’t know I wasn’t the one who sorted your car so I took it back in they then told me it was the coolant seal but a month prior I’d already had that fixed and said the parts should be new he said they definitely not new so i thought I’d been ripped off and that the guy who’s fixed it used that green liquid stuff so I paid for them to order a part then they ring me and say the parts are new it not that it a over threaded bolt bare in mind my car wasn’t leaking until serviced meaning they had caused it but deny it any way i thought so I’ve been charged for something that it wasn’t and you have caused the problem so I asked am I getting refunded as it wasn’t leaking until you serviced it and the thing you charged me for had already been fixed so bare in mind they said it was a gearbox leak then a coolant leak but had already been fixed then an cross threaded bolt so when I asked for refund as i know it’s there mess up they said no I’m like the car wasn’t leaking until serviced meaning you caused it and charged me for it and gave me 3 different things it was and when asked for refund he then claimed it was the coolant again clearly lying my service sheet nothing anyway eventually I picked up the car frustrated took the car luckily I needed screen wash there was no coolant in my car like 😬 so I’d advise some at that garage are ripping people off I think it the younger ones as was a young male who dealt with mine so be careful
Appointment for wheel balancing and tracking
I booked an appointment at Halfords for wheel balancing and tracking checks at 11:30am. The manager, Sharaz, informed me it would take around 2 hours. Based on this, I arranged alternative transport and returned at 1:30pm expecting the work to be completed.
To my surprise, I was told the car hadn’t even been looked at yet and that it would take a couple more hours. I explained I had to pick up my children from school, and Sharaz responded that I "should have told him that before." He then denied ever saying it would take 2 hours and claimed that "2 hours to him means all day."
It became clear he was unwilling to do the job. When I expressed my frustration and said it seemed lazy, he told me to “piss off” — which I found completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
This experience was frustrating, disappointing, and showed a lack of respect for customers’ time. I won’t be returning.
Absolutely unprofessional
Absolutely unprofessional, I was asking to replace the offside suspension but they replaced the wrong side that is makes my MOT failed. On the next day they promised to replace the exact one but they gave the priority to other customers. My day was gone and need to pay for another test that caused by their fault. Absolutely not recommend.
Not the best experience
Dropped car off as planned for a service and MOT with a collection time agreed for the afternoon. Received phone call saying they need to change a broken coil spring £255 I was disappointed at the extra cost but agreed to have it changed. Then received another call saying oil filter is stuck and they can't get it off due to who ever fitted it stripping the threads? I explained it was Halfords your sister company he said ok. Then I get another call saying if they break it something while taking the filter off I would have to pay to fix it as Halfords only give a limited guarantee? And also they would have to keep the car overnight because the guy who is in next day has better tools and experience to remove the filter. I collected the car paid the money. While driving over the next week we noticed an occasional slight knocking sound from the back end of the car we removed spare wheel, removed everything from boot etc but the noise but the noise is occasionally still there and it wasn't before the car went in for service and MOT. I don't feel confident in taking the car back to national tyres or Halfords so I will have to go elsewhere.

Is this an old school garage?
18 year old daughter paid for her tyres to be changed on line. When she dropped the car off at the Worksop branch, immediately the operative tried selling her warranty after asking her quite a few loaded questions to see if she knew what she had ordered. She told me she felt as if she was being put under pressure but was strong minded enough to decline the warranty.
On her return to the garage the same operative Wayne tried charging an extra £41 for tyre disposal. My daughter refused to pay as she had paid for that service on line. Wayne told her the price had changed and the website had been updated. My daughter had taken a screenshot of her payment and refused to pay.
She then received an electronic invoice which showed that she had already paid for the warranty on line. The whole experience felt like an opportunist attempt to scam a young woman out of more money and leaves a sour taste.

Stress off the scale
I had a stressful week with husband going into Doncaster for major surgery.
When I got in the car to visit the low tyre pressure came on and I flapped. I drove to Worksop NT and the kind lad tested all the tyres and out air in them , he said he thought it was the front one that was the issue, he gave me a name , directions for the Doncaster NT if it came on again whilst travelling.
The low pressure didn’t come on again until the next day, I drove straight back to Worksop NT and the same kind lad sat me down and checked the tyres again. He repaired the puncture, checked my tyres, at my request for the MOT and he said I will need two front ones.
I can’t thank him enough for making me a priority and looking after me . Especially when he was dealing with what appreared to be a strange customer when I arrived.
It’s rare these days to receive one to one personal assistance with national companies and you excelled .

The technician that dealt with me was Liam. I have to say his customer service was absolutely impeccable. He repaired a puncture for me when I thought i needed a new tyre. So courteous and informative, I have not experienced customer care like this since for many years. This was at the worksop branch. Both myself and my husband were overwhelmed and will be using this branch for repairs going forward. Thank you, thank you very much

Can’t fulfil orders on bank holidays
Booked a tyre to be fitted the next day as the website said “available next day” and allowed me to book a slot. Arrived at the fitting station, waited 20 minutes in the waiting room to be told they don’t have the tyre in stock and won’t be in stock as they don’t receive deliveries on bank holidays. So why advertise/offer next day fitting when it’s impossible to fulfil the order? Poor service and general lack of care.

I have just returned from that garage telling me them tyres or any 20" tyres are not in stock, i am fuming what is point of your website telling me this and booking it and travelling 40 min each way beacause that was nearest available tyre and fitting. 😡😡😡.
First time i have used national tyres and will be last.
