Wow what an amazing team .. I arrived without an appointment and the team were so welcoming. I had a screw in my tyre and Jake was quick to diagnose I’d need a new tyre- he kindly put my spare wheel in for me with no charge! I can’t recommend these guys highly enough .. will definitely be back - thank you!! 🙏

I called in to Selby branch at 8.00 this morning to see if they could fit me in to look at a possible puncture on my car.
The woman on reception was very rude to me.
I politely asked if they could fit me in. She said No and they were fully booked all day. She said she could fit me in the next day. I asked what time. She said she could not give me a time and I would have to fetch it and leave it. I explained I was working night shifts and really needed a time. She very rudely said if I give you a time you will expect it to be done at that time and it won’t be.
When I said I would leave it she said fine. Don’t bother then and looked away and ignored me.
This is disgraceful customer service. I will never go there again. Avoid at all costs.
I went to Kwik fit nearby and all the staff were so polite and helpful and went out of their way to help.

Amazing! I had to call for an emergency tyre replacement after a puncture today. The branch closed at 5pm but arranged to replace it when I called at 4.35pm! The service was efficient friendly and they offered good advice as my alloy was slightly bent too. Highly recommended guys!

0star would of been more appropriate.1 booked a time slot to be told that it was meaningless. 2 staff was more then rude. 3 they opened all my car windows and made a mess of the inside of the car no use of protection for the seat while driving it in and out the garage so seat full of grease a crap. 4 they said a certain rude word to me when getting me key back. 4. Two of the new tyres are letting air past since putting them on. Definitely not going back there as the service is a joke over 4 hours wait to gat car back in a state it wasn't in before.

Took my car for wheel balancing the my insisted I had a nail in tyre and the other rear was also knackered so agreed to replace. They ruined my diamond cut alloy and the mechanic- Mohammed tried to lie his way out saying it would buff out. After getting quotes; I can confirm it won’t buff out and needs to be sent off. Don’t trust these cowboys and by looking at reviews it seems I’m not the first and I certainly won’t be the last. Manager has agreed to refund me the cost of the repair of alloy if I get 2 quotes ( of course they’ll tell me to go cheap) and I’m left fuming after only having my car 1 month

Excellent customer service from Corey at Selby branch today. I called in without an appointment looking for advice about a problem with my front tyres. He called me straight in, diagnosed the problem and sorted it. Amazing!

bought tyres from them online, turned up for my appointment and they refused to fit the tyres. i had to pay extra to take them elsewhere to get fitted. why say you can fit tyres then refuse to fit tyres? i thought a tyre company would of beingable to do a simple job.

Had 4x tyres fitted yesterday only to be told the one of my wheels had been damaged but it wasn’t there fault!!!

My wheels had recently all been refurbished and this is the call I got from them.
“Due to your wheels be painted with the tyres on this has caused the damage not us”
My wheels were powered coated so the tyres were removed for this process.
Next excuse.
“When they powder coated them they only did the fronts this had caused the damage”
Wrong again
My wheels were black ,then I got them powder coated silver!!!!!
Eventually they admitted fault and said they will pay for the wheel re powder coated.
I had to supply the invoice for them to pay.
So I had to
Remove my own wheel
Take for powder coating
Pay for it
Refit the wheel when done
And left without a car for 2 days.
I sent then invoice to them which was £50 + vat = £60.
Then they only refund me £50.
So far all this hassle I’m £10 down !!!!!
No sorry and he’s a little extra for the inconvenience. Shocking customer service.
Will never use them again.full of lies. I work in the motor trade so there lies didn’t work but they probably try this all the time with other customers.

The company should work out a proper booking system as mentioned in many other reviews here.
I booked online to have 2 tyres fitted at the Selby branch with a 10.30am time slot and arrived early so didn't expect the work to be done straight away. I left the keys and went to do some shopping. We purposely took our time before returning shortly before 11.30am. The car was on the ramp with the front wheels off so although I would have expected it to be finished by then, I was hopeful and took a seat. I could see the car from my seat, and it was just sat there with no activity. I eventually (about 12.00pm) asked when it would be ready as I had an appointment. I was then told in a couldn't care less attitude that it doesn't matter if you book a time slot as it has no bearing on when the work is done, and I should have made a “premium booking”. Maybe I am stupid but cannot see this option. When I stated that I would complain and tell others not to use them, they didn't appear to care and just said to go ahead.

I understand that problems can occur, and things happen, but this all appeared to be routine. Going by other negative reviews online this is a common theme, and I don't expect a positive response but have learned a lesson at least and will not be using your service again and will dissuade others from doing so.

I rang in a bit of a panic on Friday at 4.30pm as my son’s car was jolting when he was driving it. He hasn’t long passed his test and relies on his car for work and college. The garage fit me in the next morning and the staff I encountered were so helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to source the parts and the car was ready to collect on Saturday afternoon. Really impressed with the service I received and will definitely use in the future.

Took my car to the selby branch for 2 rear tyres fitted. Dropped it of at 8.50 for a 9 am early slot to fit in with other arrangements, rang the garage at 11.15 to be told we haven't started it yet explaind I had other commitments within the day. I took the decision to call at the garage, glad I did as they where in the process of removing my front tyres and had to raise this myself. My car was finished by 12.30. After having the car cleaned and returned home I noticed they had left the nut caps off the front wheels so had to return to the garage for them to replace getting back home for 2.30. All in all a very time consuming and very stressful experience.

Rude women at the service desk, also quoted £175 more than Kwik fit for the same work (exhaust) . First time I used them today (two tyres fitted) will be the last. No excuse for poor customer service, and very expensive compared to Kwik Fit.

After hitting the kerb with front wheel due to avoiding being hit from behind I decided to have the tracking checked. Phoned them up and was told by the receptionist that if I wanted a Premium time slot and seen to immediately I was to go online and do it there. Went onto Selby's web site and spent 15 minutes with nothing found. Waste of space!

Work completed correctly and vehicle ready when they said it would be. Great price for 4 new tyres. Recommend.

Came in for a free brake test, after waiting ten minutes for someone to come to the counter I was asked what I was in for it became clear to me they did not want to carry out the test. The man asked what was wrong with the brakes, surely that’s what the test would determine?! The time slot was for 11.30am, the job was allocated for 30 minutes si i came back at 12.15pm only to find nothing had been done to the car. I was told there were several other jobs infront of it so it would be at least another hour before they looked at it. When I said I couldn’t wait for another hour and a half fur the job to be done the test was cancelled. They said it was a drop off, if that were the case why allocate a specific half hour time slot. Really poor customer service abd quite unfriendly with it

Great service all round from booking through to pick up.
Really good communication on what was required and pricing. Even a small repair carried out as part of the service and not charged.
Friendly service received from all, but Josh and Pauline especially.

Highly recommend national tyres Selby. I got a puncture yesterday and brought my car into the garage today (on a busy bank holiday Monday) and was very lucky to have Joe fit me in. I was told to pop back at 3pm and as promised, tyre repaired and fitted for me quickly. Excellent service - thanks lads.

Tyres arrived on time, although I was able to book a slot which really didn't allow sufficient time for 4 tyres to be changed, so was contacted to bring in earlier. Turned up early but where not ready for me.
Picked up car and when I drove home the warning sign cam eon saying all tyres where at different pressures, all where over pressure, luckily my husband was able to sort

It was easy to find a tyre that would fit my vehicle, and also it stated online it could be checked that it was correct in branch as well. I paid an extra £10 for same day fitting and got a slot booked in 4 hours.
