I am very pleased with the friendly and honest service at this particular National Tyre and Autocare in Woodbridge Road, Ipswich. I would like to compliment the exemplary staff, Sam (Supervisor), Alan, Callum, Kieron and Ack. I hope that this compliment is passed to all the staff at this particular location. I highly recommend as I have been using this place over 10 years and kept coming back again and have been recommending to my family and friends.

As always, very friendly and very accommodating. I know them all now and always approach them for my Merc e class and Honda Accord, Never failed my anticipation. Honest and to the point. Shame their prices went significantly higher once bought by Halfords. Used to do breaks, tyres, and all usual wear and tear parts with them. Recently had to do break pads and disks at my local mechanic as half the price quoted but not their problem as controlled by central office.

Alan, your assistant manager was exceptional

His knowledge about vehicles is astounding

He has a customer service skill is second to none

It was a pleasure talking to him

Excellent staff that really helped me out. Professional, reliable and swift service.

Use the Woodbridge Rd, Ipswich branch for all the family's cars. For example, in the last 18 months for brake-pads, discs, brake repairs, diagnostics, DPF, glow-plugs, servicing, MOTs, tracking and tyres.
Consistently outstanding, friendly and helpful.
What makes the difference, is that they are very practical and if something is spotted or does not go according to plan, they often fix it for free or at a bargain rate. Yes, I will say that again, they will sometimes fix things for free if they think they missed it on the diagnostics or whatever.
The other point worth making is that compared to most garages, they are fair and reasonable. They give an opinion and think through the repairs needed. No wild guess work and then charging you for unnecessary stuff like so many other garages,
As for prices, they are always competitive, indeed outstanding when you think they fix up any bits and pieces as they go without costing the earth.
Worth also highlighting they have a fantastic manager and friendly team.
All in all, National on Woodbridge Rd are worth going out of your way for. We drive 28 miles to reach it for example!

I've always preferred going to this place over the others in Ipswich. The service is always excellent and the manager (who I didn't see today) obviously trains his team well. You get treated with respect and excellent friendly service. Today we were served by Assistant Manager Alan. The service was excellent and very informative, Alan gave us lots of advice and kept us informed every step of the way, a true credit to the Halfords group. As someone who's worked in retail management myself, I was impressed with how he involved the two workers, who were being directed and mentored by Alan at the same time as they were working. All in all great experience and well done from us, I'll be booking a service for the weekend!

Very quick easy to use good feeling no hassle

Didn’t get the 15% off for buying 4 new tyres could not find where to put in the code.

Very helpful welcome and quick fitting once tyre fitting started.(PS don't like review engines that want to change English spellings to American.) 25 minute delay in start from booked time due to another car already in bay. Staff very friendly and get me updated with progress.

Customer facilities non existent at this depot, unlike other nearby brands.

Same day appointment to fit a tyre with a slow puncture. Quick service, helpful and polite staff. The option for finance (on the website) is excellent as well.

Very positive experience, placed a booking online for wheel balancing, was booked in for the next day.
Upon arrival (this was a leave the car for the day booking) the guys pulled my car in within 5 mins and got straight to work so I could be back on my way.
The guy doing the work (unfortunately didn’t catch his name) was extremely helpful and knew exactly what he was doing. He checked over a few extra bits in my car that I had issues with. Turned out I needed a new tyre as typically the last wheel removed had a huge crack in the back wall (we was both surprised it was holding air), I was then found and given the best price for a replacement which was a good price and agreed to have the extra work done.
Overall extremely happy with the service and speedy time the work was completed in. All 3 staff at the shop were friendly and positive. I highly recommend and will be returning for any future work I may need.

Great selection of tyres at a range of prices. Easy to see ratings of tyres by different categories such as wet, fuel efficiency, speed and load. Good system for cross-checking that you are looking at the correct tyre for your car. Easy check-out process.

Easy to navigate the website and make purchase, I dropped the wheel into the branch spoke to a guy called Tom who was very polite and helpful. A good experience.
