I have recently asked MSD Solicitors to deal with some complex immigration visa issues. By good fortune Mr Hassan Muhammad dealt with the issue. My experience with MSD Solicitors wasn’t a good one, never use them again and would not recommend. My son has had two visa refusals which I explained to them before commencing. And he still got another refusal afterwards, no follow up from them nothing. We had a very disappointing and concerning experience with MSD Solicitors, primarily due to the way we were treated at their Manchester office.

From the outset, the conduct of MSD Solicitors’ staff was unacceptable. When they contacted our office, the individual refused to even provide their name and immediately began attacking our staff member. One of our team—who speaks fluent English—was then subjected to discriminatory remarks simply because they have a foreign accent. This kind of racist behaviour is completely unprofessional and should never be tolerated, especially from a firm like MSD Solicitors that presents itself as a professional legal practice. Is this the name and reputation the owner of MSD Solicitors wishes to uphold?

In addition, the tone used by a representative of MSD Solicitors, who identified themselves as a manager, was aggressive and threatening. Is this the way the owner of MSD Solicitors allows one of their managers to behave, showing such racist behaviour, while calling themselves solicitors? This raises serious concerns about the standards and values within MSD Solicitors.

Respect and professionalism should be the minimum standard in any working relationship. Unfortunately, our experience with MSD Solicitors fell far below that. We have retained full records of all telephone calls and messages, which clearly demonstrate both the nature of the request made to us and the manner in which we were treated.

For context, we were instructed by MSD Solicitors to attend their Manchester office, where it had been confirmed that a replacement toilet seat was available. Upon arrival, our technician found that this was not the case, meaning the work could not be completed through no fault of our own. Despite this, we remained professional and willing to assist in resolving the issue.

We believe it is important for others to be aware of how MSD Solicitors treat contractors and service providers so they can make informed decisions.

About a year ago, I thought I wouldn’t be able to succeed in my immigration case.
