BINGO at last a parts supplier who actually know what customer service is ..
After trying to find parts for my Avensis that even Toyota could not get
Then i found MPD and got the parts and have to say the level of knowledge of the sales team is amazing plus felt like a valued customer as soon as i walked in no messing about got my parts quickly and very happy with the price . The whole team at Normanton branch have always been excellent and polite i will always use them in the future highly recommend for all parts !!!!!!

I’ve been in the motor trade some 40 years now and met loads of different types of staff, some can’t be bothered and some always go the extra mile, well the guys at the Driffield branch are certainly the ones that go the extra mile, I needed some locking wheel bolts urgently so I called into the branch and they checked on there computer and also went through all the stock to try and help me with this problem, and because the car was one of those in between years jobs it wasn’t fully conclusive which ones it should have on, but with this guy’s willingness to help we eventually got some that would fit mine, now that’s what I call first class service, thanks guys I will definitely be back again.

So, rang these guys for a price for an air conditioning condenser, was quoted a price, I rang my customer and told them how much it was. 5 minutes after telling the customer the price, these guys rang back and said ‘really sorry but the price quoted does not include a £12 plus vat carrier charge and they had already asked the manager to waive the charge but I had no option if I wanted to buy it other than to pay the extra. SO MPD YOU NOW HAVE CONTROL OF MY PROFITABILITY AND SEEMINGLY YOU DO NOT CARE. THE BRANCH MANAGER IS NOT INTERESTED.

Fantastic, called them to see if they had a battery in stock, yes they did, collected it within 20mins. Also they fitted a rear window wiper for free! Will definitely use again. First class service

Bought a Platinum battery from the Grimsby Branch. After 27 months the battery started to fail.
Contacted them regarding the issue, they said, only has a 2 year warranty. (The battery new cost £140) .
Contacted the Importers, they said ALL there stop/start batteries carry a 3 year warranty but refused to get involved as the warranty is given to the company they sell too.
Several weeks later the battery totally failed. Contacted the branch again and spoke to the manager. I said I spoken to the distributers who told me they sell them with 3 year warranty.
The manager at Grimsby admitted
Motor Parts had had problems with these batteries and do not deal with the company now. He added that some outlets still carry a stock and are only giving a years warranty. £140 for 1 years use!!!!! Deceitful they don't even tell you.
I said to the manager I believed when bought, the battery had 3 years warranty, if I had know at the time would not have bought it, instead I would have gone elsewhere and purchased one with a 5 year warranty.
He laughed and again said their is nothing he was prepared to do, adding he would sell me a different make at £150 adding if I didn't like it I can go to trading standards. At that point he put the phone down.
How ignorant.

Sittingbourne branch sold me the wrong oil filter, refused to exchange or refund, because the box had a bit of oil on it, had they done there job properly in the first place........

Used loads of times but won’tues again very rude staff Uxbridge branch

The parts are good but the website is terrible, for me it doesn’t see,moors properly and takes an age to load anything

Checked online and parts in stock at Glastonbury. Reserved and drove 15mls to collect only , only to be told they aren't in stock. Useless. Ring and check parts are actually are in branch.

Purchased a headlight bulb from motor parts direct last week for my Toyota. Got charged £19.19 !!!! Could have got one from GSF car parts for £6.32 ....never shop there again.

Helpful, speedy service

I needed an Argon replacement bottle. phoned the guys at Weymouth Motor parts direct quite early in the morning. they didn't have one in stock but informed me that they could get one the same day - amazing. they (Nathan and Gary) kept me updated (it was a little latter than expected due to heavy trafic) so they phoned me to let me know and even helped me to take the empty one out and put the full one in. theses guys (plus the other staff who's names i can't remember) are always super friendly and helpfull. this isn't my first visit and it won't be my last. thanks for your help guys!

Kerry Cornwell was so helpful and nothing was too much. When prices are rising by huge percentages, Kerry explained and listened and found the best deal for me, allowing me to stay with a company who give the most amazing customer service. Thank you once more for looking after our insurance and your excellent customer service.

Came in for brake pads, I added information that my cars vin number wasn't always going to be correct for my car, so included the size of my discs. After shrugging off this information, looking at me if I'm stupid - I had to return the pads as they did not fit. I'd avoid this place.

Then i found MPD and got the parts and have to say the level of knowledge of the sales team is amazing plus felt like a valued customer as soon as i walked in no messing about got my parts quickly and very happy with the price ..
