Moving Home Made Easy did a great job for me when I requested two removals-men to help me with my move. Derek and Paul came and did a fantastic job and were very helpful and courteous!! I highly recommend them!

From initial home survey until the last item was placed at our new property the whole process of using moving home made easy was absolutely first class,
Donna and Alan at the office (fantastic new facility in Hillington) were extremely helpful and professional.
Paul , Derek and Alex were all extremely professional and made us feel 100% confident that we chose the correct company for our house move,
All day the guys remained very friendly and positive and nothing whatsoever was a problem.
All our furniture was extremely well protected and the tv’s etc were very well packaged and protected.
Choosing the correct company for a home removal can be a minefield and a daunting thought.
By choosing moving home made easy there is no need to doubt if you have made the right decision.
I will certainly be recommending them to friends / family and would not hesitate to use them again in the future

The whole process from booking through to moving day was all very straightforward and stress free. Our initial quote and home visit was within days of making contact. I cannot thank Moving Home Made Easy enough. The process from beginning to end was flawless. Donna was so helpful prior to the move and on the day Mark and Derek were absolutely amazing. Cheery and chatty putting my mind at ease. After assessing my flat they emptied it carefully, methodically and swiftly. My move wasn’t the easiest with oversized furniture and 60 odd boxes and I was moving quite a distance but with the help of Andy they made it work. I was and still am very grateful and would certainly recommend them.

Ideally I preferred to choose a locally based company. Donna was so friendly and helpful from the beginning that I felt pretty confident. The information pack was useful for preparation. The move itself was smooth at both ends. The guys were really efficient and polite. All in all I couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience.

Everything about the home move process was great, from the quotation visit, the ongoing liaison with the office, the move out and into storage and the second move to the new house. Alan initially visited the house to assess the move and explained the process in detail leaving the feeling that everything would be well looked after. Donna at the office was brilliant, cheerfully dealing with my frequent questions and updates and keeping me calm. The actual moves were excellent and all the guys involved were great - friendly, tidy and efficient and nothing was too much trouble (they even followed my colour coding to the letter). Thank you to everyone involved, we would definitely recommend your services.

Quote was competitive and the team came recommended. The removal team were helpful, careful and efficient. We received our keys later than planned but didn’t feel hassled by the removal men despite it being a lot of waiting about for them. Overall a good experience.

First class service with a focus on customer service. Communication was excellent and the company dealt confidently and efficiently with 3rd party snags . The personnel were focused on making our move as easy as possible. Competitive pricing and first class service- I would highly recommend.

Highly recommend this company! From the initial home inspection to the moving day, we had a great experience with them and couldn’t fault them at all. We had 4 of their employees (Connor, Derek, Paul and Jordon) on the job helping us move and they were all so polite, friendly and efficient. They got our 3 bed house emptied in 4 hours and any time they saw me trying to lift something they would step in and take over. At the end of the unload into the new house, they offered to stay and help move anything else around until we felt like the job was finished. Don’t hesitate to use them! Absolutely deserve the five stars.

I've used them twice now and will use again. The guys are so so good - very positive attitude, take care in moving items, nothing is too much bother.

I was very happy with the service I received from Moving Homes Made Easy. All the staff were courteous , helpful , professional and efficient. The true test of a company’s ethos is not what it says in blurbs and brochures- it is how it responds when things do not go to plan. And my plan went spectacularly wrong when I was unable to move into my new build house due to a water leak and boiler issue - with a couple of hours notice before getting the keys. The company put everything into storage and moved me in six days later when all issues resolved . They didn’t make a drama out of a crisis . Staff came back out to move furniture and took packaging and sorted a couple of minor issues. I would recommend this company, not the cheapest quote, but you get what you pay for and that was great service.

Can a company live up to a name like that?

Yes they did!

We had lived in our old flat for 41 years since we got married. We moved in from parental homes and owned the flat for three months before moving in. We had never really moved before.

Downsizing after 41 years was a challenge and very intimidating.

Did they make it easy for us?

We’d have to say”no”. It wasn’t easy. It remains the most stressful thing we have gone through apart from the illness and death of our parents.

However, they made it possible! They did so much to help both in advance of and on the day of the move. (The entry above for “date of experience” is a bit of an oversimplification. The help in preparing - from packing materials through advice given and the very helpful pack of information - was really appreciated.)

As for the day itself. The team of three guys (sorry we’re not good with names!) turned up at the agreed time. They were professional and friendly. They were considerate and careful with us, our possessions and with the locations at each end.

There was one mishap and it certainly wasn’t their fault. It proved impossible to manoeuvre our bed into the new flat. Despite the valiant and ingenious attempts it couldn’t be done. They remained very careful and were very apologetic at the failure. We nearly wrote “their failure” but as we made very clear on the day it was entirely outwith their control.

There was quite a bit of
“To me, to you” but as we said at the time “definitely NOT the Chuckle Brothers!”

The bed joined the other surplus items which they delivered to Shelter who are their partner charity. That was a very useful and free add on.

They weren’t the cheapest option but, while we could have found cheaper, we are sure we couldn’t have found better or indeed anywhere nearly as good.

They came highly recommended by two separate family members who have used them and we would unreservedly recommend them.

Their parting gift to us was four iced shortbread biscuits with suitable new home messages. Does that sound just a bit tacky? Perhaps. But it was a lovely touch and a highly appropriate accompaniment to our first cup of coffee in our new home.

Would we use them again?

In the best possible way - we hope not! We don’t intend to move again.

But if we did end up moving guess which name would be at the top of our to do list.
