We visited Roosters bar recently, would like to say the staff are truly amazing I’d like to commend Jack, nothing was too much trouble and he’s a credit to you, the meal was delicious so thank you Morley Hayes for a wonderful evening

Eight of us enjoyed a truly exceptional Sunday lunch in The Dovecote Restaurant.
Each time we say “It can’t get any better” but somehow it does. Trying to select from such a tempting menu is the only difficulty. The food was outstanding, as was the service. Thank you for making a birthday celebration so special.

Really enjoyed our stay. Golf course is a parkland course with plenty of wildlife. Bedrooms were clean and bathrooms well appointed. Staff were all very polite and helpful. Our evening meal in Dovecut restaurant was delicious

4 of us popped in for lunch.
Greeted friendly & a table straight away.
Fabulous service and Fabulous food.
Would visit again and highly recommend.

Went for a vegetarian and vegan afternoon tea. I have to say I wasn’t impressed this time, having had a previous good experience. The vegan sandwiches consisted of lettuce and tomato (so unimaginable). The scones were gritty and the cheese and egg were just plain. No relishes or garnish. The sandwiches were served separately so the cake stand looked bare. I wish I’d took a photo. It cost £60 for two people and we could have had a good quality meal for that!
It was my Daughter’s birthday treat and we both felt let down and left quite a bit of food.
Morley Hayes you can do better than that!

I was a guest at my friend's wedding. The venue was beautiful with lovely views. Jane and her staff were friendly and attentive, a credit to Morley Hayes. From the nibbles, the three course meal to the evening roast pork buffet, the food was excellent.
If there was one criticism it would be the signage when first coming to the venue. We were to meet at the stables bar, which was not mentioned on any of the signs so we went left instead of right. Not a major issue as the walk through the garden was lovely.

Friendly and well run restaurant. Fabulous lunch for 4. The MH stew is superb. We will return.

Booked The Dovecote restaurant for my Son’s birthday, everyone was very accommodating and helpful.
The food was beautiful and atmosphere just as good.
Simon and his staff were more than happy to help, regardless of being an awkward party…everyone paying separately.
Will definitely visit again to enjoy future celebrations.

Ordered the soup for starter, came out cold had to send it back,the rest of the party had finished there starter before my soup came back. Didn't even get a discount on the bill.

Amazing venue, I had my wedding here last week, the staff, food, and service was fantastic, the hotel was superb and the quality of the rooms are incredible! If you are planning a wedding, don’t look anywhere else, it’s worth every penny!

Visited for my husband’s birthday for a meal at Roosters. Excellent meal, great service and generous portion sizes.

One of the best afternoon teas I’ve ever had, in a lovely and relaxing restaurant.

Loved being able to choose our sandwiches, delicious scones and cakes all made on the premises.

All the staff were very good and Michelle our waitress was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her.

Loved the whole experience.

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and are planning to make a return visit.

We have just thoroughly enjoyed an Afternoon tea delivery. It was absolutely delicious and we would highly recommend. Thanks also for the Cyclamen potted plant it was much appreciated. A real Saturday afternoon treat 😁

We have visited Morley Hayes on many occasions. This is a lovely place and never disappoints!
The staff are so attentive, friendly and welcoming. We love the Hotel and the Dovecote for special occasions and the Roosters is perfect for meeting up with Friends and Family.
Food is consistently brilliant and we always look forward to our next visit.

Whether it’s booking for an event, birthday bash, funeral, or a meal, the service and food is exemplary!
The staff are brilliant and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble.
Andrew, the owner, is never too busy, to come and have a chat. He’s a great asset to the thriving business.

If you’re looking for somewhere to go that’s just a little bit special, that has a welcoming vibe, good food, great service and a lovely countryside setting, the Morley Hayes Dovecote is a must. It’s our go to place for girly brunch, family lunches/dinners… any excuse really! The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. Simon is without doubt brilliant and his team are superb. Whether you go for champagne breakfast, afternoon tea, supper or Sunday lunch, you’re in for a treat! Today, we were having champagne breakfast to celebrate a special birthday - it was excellent as always - lots of choice and regular changes to the menu means you can always try different things each time you go… we were enjoying ourselves so much and the food was so good, we were sorely tempted to stay out and have afternoon tea too! What are you waiting for, get booking and enjoy!

Second time I've been here for a champagne breakfast. Excellent service by a lovely and very attentive waitress called Michelle. Beautiful food and very good value for money. Michelle went above and beyond keeping us topped up with teas and coffee and everything we asked for, very polite and very friendly relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back again ☺️

Ah i miss this place, exceptional cuisine and the finest of all avarian species!
