I was given a quote of 39 pounds for my phone and only recieved 10 pounds. I am currently in a long process of emailing the company who have apparently already sent off my phone. I will not be recommending this company to anyone, or using it again!

Sent old company phone for agreed price of £28, got e-mail back saying they had deducted 50% due to water damage!

The phone has never been water damaged and was in perfect condition so asked for it to be sent back which they did, seems they make up excuses not to pay out what they agreed.

I used a comparrison website to see what I could get for my damaged mobile. According to the website money4urmobile.com was the best price. I went to the website, and filled in all the details and awaited the freepost envelope, there was a disclaimer, the quote only lasted 7 days. The envelope arrived 5 days later, but there was no address on it, or postage paid, it was a blank envelope. I emailed customer services which didn't answer for 2 days. I also recieved an email reminder to send it back within 7 days, on day 7. The answer I recieved was to write a freepost address on the envelope and send it. So I did. 8 days later I recieved another email stating "congratulations you will recieve £17.34" Which was a whopping 75% lower than the initial quote. I emailed back stating simply, "I'd like my phone returned" to which I recieved a reply stating the phone was damaged thus the reduced price but I can have it back if I really wanted it to, they'd send it the next day recorded delivery, which amazingly took another 5 days. I had already put in the initial quote that the phone was damaged and the quote had been made based on that information. A waste of time, poor communication, arguementative customer services, dishonest tactics.

I went through this procedure after the Christmas period having had an item upgraded and although it took over 2 weeks to conclude I received the cheque quoted on the website which was a very good price compared to others I'd checked out. My item was a little scratched and the battery no longer worked for anything like the amount of time it should have done but I still received the maximum payment quoted and not the reduced price they warn about if the item is damaged. It would have got 5 stars if it hadn't advertised the speed of the service, under 3 weeks is no problem, but because of whats advertised I was expecting quicker service.

Totally trustworthy service and fast payment. No quibbles or problems very straightforward procedure.

Money4urmobile gave the best price for my iPod touch by far. They sent the Freepost envelope to me within days and advised me by email when they had received my iPod and paid my money to me. This was the easiest and least stressful way I have ever gotten rid of an old phone/iPod. I would def recommend money4urmobile to my friends and family.
