SYSTEMATIC FRAUD: Fake “Unsubscribe Failed” Notifications

Same fraudsters as ReelShort and Moboreader. Do not use this app.

I downloaded and deleted the app immediately. But instead of moboreels, I got charged without any subscription by Moboreader! MoboReader sent an email saying “we could not process your unsubscribe request” – a fake excuse to keep me trapped. But the charges continued: -24.38 CHF every week (10.08, 17.08, 24.08, 31.08.2026).

When I tried again, they told me to “contact support Annie in the app” and “go to Settings” – endless circular loops while they keep billing me.

This is deliberate fraud, not a technical error. They ignore cancellation confirmations and use fake “failed” notifications to trap users into continuous charges.

Same company as ReelShort (MOBO Technology USA). Same theft infrastructure. They have stolen ~200+ CHF from me.

Apple: This app and all MOBO apps must be removed immediately. They are criminal fraud operations.

Moboreels is a SCAM. I paid for VIP services and was given NO ACCESS. VIP IS UNLIMITED STORIES AND ACCESS TO ALL VIDEOS. After watching a few episodes I WAS RESTRICTED AND WHEN I CONTACTED THE COMPANY I was told I NEEDED TO PURCHASE COINS TO VIEW. That I HAD NO SUBSCRIPTION EVEN THOUGH I had a three page receipt. Breach of sale, false advertisement, Horrible Customer Service, refusal to provide accessibility for paid services. Unprofessional. Do not do business with this company.

It's a SCAM! They pull you in with a drama video to purchase unlimited videos weekly, and then when you get to episode 41 of the video, they want you to pay more money to watch it. To pay $32.05 weekly for unlimited watching and then be told you can't watch more episodes unless you pay more, IS A SCAM!

This is one of the new short drama apps. They offer differing packages for different amounts. While most short drama sites sell full access for a month for between $25 -$40, moboreels.com sells packages for coins. What they don't tell you is that $25 gets you 25 episodes. However, a full story is approximately 60-70 episodes. So you not only dont get full access, you don't even get a full story. They advertise that the site is free, then rope you into buying coins that don't allow you to watch a full story. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
