A great experience today with Rocco, buying walking boots and other walking gear. Rocco was super-friendly, really listened well to what I wanted, and bothered to get a footwear specialist colleague in, to check I'd got the right choice and size of walking boots. I needed camping and trekking gear- the help I got from Andy and Simon was tremendous! Not a single blister on a 100km trek due to well fitting boots and socks. Warm nights with an OEX sleeping bag and mattress, and great advice on how to keep warm. OEX raincoat was fabulous too- really recommend.

We had a damaged berghaus porch and had been advised by the online customer support centre to take the item to our local store for assessment. Andy assisted us and despite some concerns over the advice we had previously been given resolved the issue to our satisfaction. Andy was very helpful and knowledgeable.

We returned to Uckfield Millets because Simon was so knowledgeable and helpful. Simon was day off so a young lady Phoenix served me. She was as good as Simon in knowledge and being helpful. She explained how water repellency was rated and ensured that my new boots had enough room when my feet were hot during a day's walk.
