I found the interviewer for my mock MMI to be not very helpful. He asked a total of 4 questions, all which were basic and on any free online resource. He rambled on for a while about unrelated topics, which wasted the limited amount of time we had. He also did not provide helpful or specific feedback. The MMI was also not structured- no timer, no follow up questions. Overall, not worth the whopping $350. The experience was something I could have found on Google or Youtube for free.

Very constructive session, helped to formulate and practice answers.

Worked with my strengths and weaknesss to help me prepare for my upcoming MMI. Productively answered all of my questions, and helped me structure future practice to improve my abilities. Overall after this I feel much more confident and prepared for my upcoming interview.

Dr. Manser asked me great interview questions and gave me really helpful feedback. She took the time to let me know what I did well and what areas I can improve upon. She offered me tips about the interview and other possible topics that may come up.

Dr. Patel was very helpful, and gave good advice on how to improve my interviewing skills.

Dr. Cardillo was great! He was encouraging and had really good feedback for me both in real time and in his interview feedback. I appreciated his insights and will definitely use his advice throughout my interviews.

Dr. Raz was extremely helpful in walking me through how to approach each question. I now know what to include in my answers and what is not necessary to talk about. For the rest of today, I can now reflect on my answers / tweak them to near perfection until my next interview prep session with him!

Amazing tutors and advisors!!! Highly recommend using MedSchoolCoach; they are great at what they do.

The questions asked felt very real and connected to my own application and the experiences I was talking about in the mock interview. Feedback was also very helpful, addressing both the content of my answers as well as the way in which they were delivered. I didn’t realize that I frequently wasn’t looking at the camera and making “eye contact” with the interviewer. All of this learning will be really helpful when I have my actual interviews!

I had several issues with my experience. My biggest issue was that they accidentally sent one of my essays to another applicant. I was very upset that my intellectual property was given to another applicant who was in the same cycle as me. They give you pretty basic help, information that you can easily find on Reddit/MedicalSchoolHQ. Their critiques on my personal statement and essays were extremely basic. In fact, they missed a few major corrections that my family members, who are physicians, and friends were able to catch. By my request, I got switched halfway to another physician and writing advisor. They were much more helpful, but still not worth the money I paid. I will say their interview prep was useful, but for everything else, I would recommend just saving your money.
