We’ve been using Marshalls products for over five years and are proud to be part of their accredited contractor scheme. Their service has been consistently first-class, with materials that truly lead the industry. Combined with exceptional aftercare, they set the standard for quality and reliability. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

There is no point in trying to contact the customer service department as if you try to phone on 03704 112233 you will be re directed to call 0330 3302737 which is not in service. If you try to fill in the web site contact form it will be ignored (2 1/2 weeks and counting). For a premium brand company the service is awful. If you actually get through to technical services they talk to you as if you are stupid when you ask them why they recommend and sell a product that they expect to fail with in 3 years and do not put this anywhere in their literature. You will only find this out once you have been given the 10 YEAR GUARENTEE CERTIFICATE and have it pointed out to you by the SMUG tec services person. Why bother wasting the paper its written on
Would not recommend based on this experience.
I purchased 60 Marshall slabs which looked the wrong colour from the moment they were delivered. I raised the issue straight away, the company finally agreed that the slabs were in fact incorrect and offered a full refund.
However, when I asked for the fitting costs to be covered (which is completely reasonable given the product was wrong from the start), they refused. Their excuse was that the slabs “weren’t fitted in line with instructions” and “didn’t cure properly.” This simply isn’t true — I even have two slabs that were not fitted at all and they show the exact same colour issue, proving the problem is with the product, not the installation.
After admitting the slabs were wrong, they still tried to avoid covering the costs their mistake caused. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I’m now having to escalate the issue through the proper channels because their customer service has been unhelpful and dismissive.
Would not recommend based on this experience.

Excellent quality materials
Marshall supplied all materials for my new driveway and landscaped front garden. Lovely quality stone. Fitted expertly by Just Perfect. Looks amazing!
Extremely unprofessional member of staff
Diabolical organisation to deal with. It was an inconvenience for them to check stock. They checked the wrong stock. Advised it can be collected same day. As soon as the goods were paid for, they advised the goods cannot be collected same day. Another person said they can be collected and day. Arrived at the Collection Point, advised there are no orders on the system. Despite providing the Purchase Order number, the employee wanted an ‘X’ number and advised that no orders can be picked today. I had to get the Manager of Jewsons to ring the Account Manager at Marshalls to get an X number. When re-entering the building, the Marshalls employee no longer wanted the X number and simply advised he wasn’t picking any orders today and to drive another 100 miles the following day. Apparently, slicing plastic open is called a ‘Bespoke Specialist Service’. Only after he was ordered to pick the goods and bring them out by a Marshalls Manager did he do so. He wheeled them to my vehicle, stood a few metres away, said nothing and stared into thin air. As I went to pick one piece of stone up he advised I’m not allowed to touch it. Enquiring why, he advised that he has the right to refuse putting the pallet on my vehicle. Manager of Jewsons calls back, advises me that the Marshalls employee has told his colleagues and my associate that he’s been ‘shouted’ at. Realising I was dealing with someon of a drama-loving, disingenuous, untrustworthy manner, it was time to take the stone and leave. The employee was continued to complain about me receiving my goods until I drove away. Utterly odd encounter. Definitely won’t be back.

The most useless company I have ever dealt with, a month after ordering I have still not received my blocks, I was given a delivery date after chasing them up and nobody turned up, then a second delivery date after chasing up again and nobody turned up again, absolute joke of a company

Tegula Blocks - Surface breaks away into holes
A terrible product, the surface of the bricks started to break away into holes from day one, and the full driveway is affected. The issues have been reported to Marshalls, and they are unable to offer any further assistance.
Poor level of customer service!

Resin failure
Please read before purchasing Marshalls Drivesys and then make up your own mind, especially consider the additional guarantee. That quotes in the terms and conditions “Marshalls hereby warrant, that in the event of the failure of Marshalls products used in the construction of a domestic driveway, replacement products will be supplied free of charge for a period of 10 years. Additionally labour costs will be covered for a period of 5 years”. In my experience this is not the case.
In August 2020 we had our drive replaced and a new Marshalls Drivesys cobble set stone laid by an accredited installer. The Drivesys drives are not the cheapest and do look good when first installed. We took out an extended guarantee to cover Marshalls products for 10 years.
Marshalls advertise the Drivesys as quoted:-
• “Drivesys Range is supplied with our specially formulated jointing compound”
• “Drivesys® Jointing Compound along with our patented Drivesys® block paving delivers unrivalled performance to your driveway. Specifically developed for Drivesys®, our resin based Jointing Compound ensures a long-lasting durability that truly enhances the finish of the driveway”
In April last year we noticed the drive covered in small sand/grit like particles after rain fall. The particles appearing on the drive is the resin washing out. Hence we reported this to Marshalls technical assuming as this is a Marshalls product and is included as part of the Drivesys it would be covered under the guarantee. One of the reasons for taking out the guarantee was the resin. We were duped in to believe this was covered as there was no other real reason to out the extra guarantee. After numerous emails with their technical department, we were told to check the small print in the terms and conditions, section 5.
Clause 5 states “guarantee is not extended to cover deterioration resulting from lack of maintenance, including repointing after two years“
We are still in disbelief that the resin is not covered and classed the same as a sand and cement mortar mix and that the resin needs repointing every two years. Not so long lasting and durable as their quote claims.
There has been much deliberation on what to do next, we still believe as a Marshalls product it should be covered.
One option is a small claims court.
This could then go either way as it is all a play on words and could be interpreted either way. We were advised another option (citizens advise) that we have a “consumer rights act 2015” that covers us for up to 6 years for materials and workmanship but we would have to go through the building contractor and the issue is the materials which are supposedly guaranteed?
As in principal I should take Marshalls to court over this as in one sentence they claim to cover the Marshalls product which is the resin and stones. Then put a get out clause on maintenance every two years that pointing is required. As I have said I am not convinced the resin is same as mortar mix.
The small claims option could end up costing a lot of money. More than it would cost to repair the drive as well the company know. If money was no object we would have done this on principle. On the positive side the guarantee did cover 2 of the cracked cobble stones?
Standard set stones maintenance does not seem so bad after all as this is now going to be quite a big job having to replace the resin infill (pointing). Also not something I will look forward to every two years☹
What a disappointment.
From Adams reply to this I did contact Marshalls again in the hope they would review the issue. How wrong I was when I got back in touch I was just redirected back to the technical person covering my case and was told nothing had changed and as far as Marshalls are concerned the issue is closed. I see from other peoples bad experiences Marshall do seem to respond in sympathy on the issues raised for the public to see but my experience and view on this company has not changed.

Poor business
Poor business. The top dogs have no clue how to run it, though just sit and try and look pretty in business meetings. Can't have a comprehensive conversation. Have no idea how to run a business. Bring people in and leave them hanging once they have bent over backwards. It's a sinking ship. Do not buy. They cannot honor anything. It's a shit show
Learn to drive

Using a Marshalls Installer does not provide protections or guarantees
While organising the purchase of patio paving, Marshalls changed the tile sizes available to us for one of our choices of Symphony Beige paving.
We had to choose another supplier for some of our patio tiles.
Despite still purchasing £2000 worth of Marshalls paving, when they attended to assess their installer’s work and could see obvious issues, the fact that the patio included other tiles and was not all Marshalls paving meant that they refused to do anything to help us.
So, no official report to confirm these issues, as was initially indicated; no mediation to encourage their installer to return and fix these issues and would not recommend anyone to help such as an independent assessor.
Sadly, you will be palmed off with polite replies but no real support once you have purchased.
Absolutely excellent customer service
Absolutely amazing customer service received from various members within Marshalls. I recently ordered a large amount of Marshalls concrete paving slabs via Bradfords. Long story short I ordered the wrong colour which only became apparent once they were all off loaded and the driver had left. This was on a Thursday and we had the guys due to start laying them on the Monday. We were faced with a situation of using what we had taken delivery of or cancelling the job which would have meant waiting 3 months for the team to become available again. I put a panicked call into both Bradfords and Marshall to see if they were able to assist. Each and every person I spoke to went above and beyond to do what they could and amazingly between them they managed to make it happen. Thank you so much for allowing the exchange and most importantly doing what you could to get the replacements out in time, we are very grateful and love our new Patio. Your level of customer service is really refreshing, keep it up and thank you again.

completely inaccurate samples do not rely on them
I ordered two samples of the pennant grey tegula and tegula priora blocks and commenced a project to extend my existing drive based on them being a reasonable match to my existing drive. Upon delivery the colour instead of being a pale grey was really dark grey. These were returned. Then the second and subsequently third delivery were also a really dark grey and were returned. The fourth and final delivery were then a weird blue grey and cream mix which was hard to tell. Nothing delivered bore any resemblance to the samples. Marshalls have informed me that the samples can not be relied on and they do not represent the colour variations in the blocks. This is completely unacceptable. A sample should be representative of the end product otherwise what is the point of having them? The website says there may be a slight variation in colour, this is not slight, it is fundamentally different, I wish I could attach a photo to show this. You may as well sell a tegula block and tell your customer it is a lucky dip as to what colour they end up with. I now have to undertake a complete replacement of my drive, which I have not budgeted for due to their inadequate samples. I will never use Marshalls ever again, nor will my builder, or any of my friends and family. A very costly mistake causing no end of stress which could easily have been avoided had representative samples just been provided in the first place.

Ableist Employees
One of the employees here really hates disabled people. He told one to kill themselves after posting hate speech on Facebook about wheelchair adapted vehicles and how all disabled people should drive in unsafe, three wheel cars, all in one colour so people know they're disabled. Sounds like 1940s Germany...

No information on delivery of 13 packs of paving blocks, some incorrect blocks delivered delaying whole project and costing huge amounts of money, do not reply to emails, do not phone back when promising to do so. Very poor service from start to finish.
