Mark and his team were very helpful in the choice and purchasing of our U1 just over 4 years ago (a 40th birthday present for my wife). The piano has been pleasure to own and have the kids learn on. I would thoroughly recommend Mark Goodwin pianos (which was recommended to me by a friend who knows their stuff about pianos). We have never had any issues with it and are very happy with the AdSilent system that the team fitted to the piano which allows for late night practice!

We were initially a little nervous about spending this amount on a piano from a retailer we hadn’t used before, but Mark and the team were excellent throughout. They kept us informed at every stage, communicated clearly, and the piano was eventually delivered and tuned for the first time completely free of charge.

A few months later, we had a minor technical issue with a couple of spots on the piano. This was dealt with immediately and they sent us the appropriate Brasso metal paint to resolve it, which was a very simple and effective solution.

A year and a half on, we’re genuinely very happy with both the piano and the service we received. My daughter has since completed Grade 8 piano with Distinction, and my son is now working towards Grade 7.

Lovely sound from my reconditioned, looking like new upright: a joy to play, even though I have my 'own version' of tempo and notes for the pieces I muddle through. Mark, the delivery team and tuners have been responsive, accommodating and cheerful.

I wanted a nice piano in order to get the grandchildren off their screens when they visited. Mark and his wife suggested three and with their help I settled on a beautiful Yamaha within budget. This was carefully delivered by two charming men, set up and later tuned as promised. All so easy. I should add that the grandchildren love it - and play it a lot for their piano exams and just for pleasure. Thank you.

Rented a U1 nearly a year ago that I've now bought, with a trade-in piano they took off me which was very easy to sort out. Very happy with the piano and its condition (50yo reconditioned) looks almost new! Great team and easy to get in contact with. Will be back when I want to upgrade.

It is well over a year since I bought a Yamaha U3 Piano from Mark and play it daily. The tone and tune are still excellent and what made it my choice. I purchased a 1973 U3 from Mark and the team. I was not able to visit the showroom or to organise a demo. I just asked them to choose something they thought would suit the type of music I played. So it felt like a little bit of a risk not seeing or hearing it but I was so impressed by the online information and guides that I felt pretty confident. The piano arrived safely and was very carefully put in place. It looked brand new, not a single scratch of mark! It's a stunning piano. Unbelievable considering the age. It sounds amazing and I really happy with the choice they made for me. Very highly recommended.

Knowing what I was looking for, Mark made me an excellent offer. As I couldn't see the piano in person, Mark and the team sent videos and all the photos were of great quality.
About the piano: the instrument arrived on the date we agreed we agreed, in fantastic playing and aesthetic condition - straightforward as that - couldn't be happier.
