Maponus Gaming is one of the best video game websites!
I have to start this review by saying that Pete, the owner, is the BEST! He made it a pleasure to do business with him from prompt email responses, to explaining a million of my questions etc. I have never written a review on TrustPilot before nor do I write reviews in general but I had to in this case because Pete seriously deserves a 5 star review! Pete was kind enough to ship out 3 copies of a hard to get video game to me internationally in NYC even though the company is in the UK! I'm sure I annoyed him about tariffs and other customs duties but Pete was very patient and helpful in explaining everything to me. The shipping was really fast and the games were packaged very securely protecting the cases from cracking in transit! I got my package in about 4 days from the UK to NYC with standard shipping. The Maponus Gaming website is very well put together making it very easy to navigate and find whatever you're looking for. It's very responsive and snappy as well and the option to contact them. They carry some hard to find video games, especially some of those region specific ones! The prices of the video games are very fair and reasonable! Thank you again Pete and I will for sure be back again soon :)

The most polite company i have ever used.
I purchased the Resident evil 4 remake game, it was the cheapest price i could find on the whole internet. Great communication and customer service throughout the whole purchase process from the sale through to dispatch and delivery, great company, pete is very polite, thank you for the game.

Terribly Slow Dipatch. Ordered Mon; Cancelled order on Thur as not dispatched.
Ordered Mon evening. No dispatch email. Emailed to find out it may be dispatched on Thur. I ordered for it to arrive by weekend; not for a leisurely dispatch time of 3+days, with a proposed delivery of 7-8+ days from order day.
Cancelled and refunded.

Order would have been scheduled to arrive 7+ days after order.
Not an efficiently run service.

You seem to have misrepresented the timescales in your review. You placed your order late on Monday evening and requested to cancel the order late on Wednesday evening as I refused to give you a free upgrade on postage that you requested via email during Wednesday daytime.
My delivery policy is very clear that orders can take up to 3 working days to be processed. I ensure that when postage is selected on checkout I even include the description of after dispatch in the postage selected to ensure customers are aware that this particular policy takes roughly 2-4 working days after dispatch to help stop any confusion with the statement of it taking 2-4 working days being mistaken as from order (ie Free UK Delivery (2-4 Working Days After Dispatch)) When I emailed you I was explicit that your order would be dispatched on Thursday (not maybe dispatched on Thursday as you have stipulated)
I also pointed out to you that there was no information on my website or within my delivery policies that said your item was due to be delivered before the weekend. You are also speculating as to the delivery taking 8+ days to arrive from the day of ordering (as you cancelled the order within 49 hours), Royal Mail are a little backed up at this time of year however most tracked 48 items are being delivered within 2 working days currently. (This is the service your item would have used)
So I believe that the 2 star review is unjustified as the dispatch timescales are clear 0-3 working days and the postage policy used at dispatch is at the discretion of the customer.
So I had done / was doing everything I had said I would do on my site. The refund you requested was also dealt with quickly (1st thing the next working day - Thursday)
