Almost expired products sent to me

Dear Sir or Madam,

REFERENCE: MagieLog Beauty Store MGL2670751 - Ray Ray Gold facial mask facial masks

I purchased a Ray Ray Gold facial mask facial masks from MagieLog Beauty Store. At the point of purchase I paid £19.98.

Two boxes of the facial masks arrived on 27th February, 2026. Each box contains 10 masks, however, the expiry date is on 23rd March, 2026. This is unacceptable. I.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 makes it an implied term of the contract I have with MagieLog Beauty Store that goods be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.

As you are in breach of contract and I've owned the product for less than 14 days, I am within my statutory rights to ask for it to be replaced.

I await confirmation that you will provide the remedy set out above within 14 days of the date of this letter.

Expired Products Delivered and No Customer Support Response

After receiving my 2 Fujiko dry shampoo products, I noticed that both of them have an expiration date of 12 months ago (Both products had an expiry date as of 31.01.2025. I tried reaching out to the company on their e-mail on the website, asking if I can return the products or what the options are to get something that I can use, but received a bounce back saying that the e-mail doesn't exist or the inbox is full hence my e-mail can't be delivered. I also tried to reach out to the company through the "Contact Us" section on the website, again without success.

They did deliver the products in a timely manner with Royal Mail, but the rest of the experience is bad and falling on death ears.

The product arrived timely but arrived…

The product arrived timely but arrived without the outer packaging or ingredients/ safety leaflet. It is a gift for a friend who regularly use this product and it looks odd to gift a bottle with an open seal. Make’s me feel uncomfortable to gift the product that looks like it could have been used before. The product usually come in a box with cellophane around to proof authenticity and no contamination or opened before.

RECEIVED OF ITEMS FROM CUSTOMERS? WHY DID ROYAL MAIL LEFT THE PARCEL UNATTENDED IN COMMUNAL AREA?
Did you check the tracking order? How many times do you need us to tell you that the parcel was left outside the property in communal area?
We were not able to track down the item via royal mail because we are not the sender.

The parcel needs to be received by the reception or by yourself. If the package is successfully signed, we will not be responsible for the loss of the package, which is caused by customer personal reasons.

Arrived within 2 days with standard UK delivery

Ordered my Anessa sunscreen on Wednesday 14 June 2023, received it via Royal Mail on Friday 16 June 2023. Postman knocked my door and scanned too. Paid UK Standard delivery charge of £2.99 and received within 2 days. Very pleased. I'm glad they don't use Evri, which has given me problems in the past with undelivered items marked as delivered. Will use again.

Great customer service!

I actually didn’t get the correct item. But boy was I pleasantly surprised that I received a response to my email in minutes. This is crazy fast! Customer service agent was apologetic and offered a replacement (to send me the correct product and I keep the one that arrived in error). My order got confirmed in minutes after my second email. This business clearly invests into customer service and cares about the customer experience. Thank you Jaylynn for sorting my problem out. I hope you’ll have a lovely day.

Dear keya Li,
I have noticed you have amended your terms and conditions finally. It was shocking when I was about to order some pola skincare from your website and notice you WERE not allowing return if “customer had doubt on the product authenticity”. Unfortunately I cannot attached screenshot here on trustpilot. I am more amazed that if package not delivered ie left in the building or given to neighbour will be deemed as customer responsibility in recover the lost package . I need to confirm this is not going to happen before my purchase . Thank you for taking time in rectify the flaws
