Very poor and very disappointed. Our Magic hose isn't magic anymore, more like useless!!!!
It started leaking from the below the connector less than 1 month after purchase and we have hardly used it as there's a hose pipe ban currently in force in our area....
Tried ringing there head office, no one picks up. Have sent an email, no reply!!
Buyers beware, this is an awful product.

The first 100ft hose I bought (in July 2025) leaked on the second use, they were very good and replaced it quickly. The second hose has lasted barely 1 year and is now totally useless and leaking everywhere (we are not heavy waterers so it wasn’t actually getting a vast amount of use).
Of course this is out of warranty and while they offered me a discount on a new one (!) but obviously I don’t trust them so will be going back to a normal hose

Received two nearly £100 and a total waste of money. Leaked straight away and other still boxed refusing to refund as it’s JUST OVER 30 days. Offered to send replacement. DONT BUY AS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. REPORTING THIS CO, QUADRIO,85 Gt Portland Street W1 to TRADING STANDARDS - NOTHING MAGIC ABOUT THIS HOSE.

Overpriced and much better products available online at a cheaper price and better quality. Mine has hardly been used I only started using as the grass has turned brown and it has totally failed and split. Avoid and save yourself some money. Contacted customer services and they offered me £5 discount to buy another one! I was out of the warranty by a few weeks. Really poor

The hose was supplied with a faulty anti stress PP collar - it was not in the correct place to protect the hose fabric from rubbing on the brass fittings. Despite several emails to request a replacement, the customer service rep stated that the hose was working and refused to replace or refund. Very poor customer service and would not recommend the product or the company. They certainly do not abide by their web site statements of “we believe in delivering only the best to our customers” and “customer satisfaction is at the core of everything we do”. It is certainly not our experience of this company - AVOID AND DO NOT BUY A MAGIC HOSE.

Developed a slow leak a few weeks ago, but we persevered with it. I wish I had complained at the time as it has now completely split . I emailed the company, but they stated that as its is out of the warranty period by just a few weeks, they will not replace it. They offered £5 discount off a new one, but I feel that would just be throwing good money after bad. I will resurrect my old hoselock hose instead.

Original split and was replaced. Replacement split after only a few weeks use but they refused to refund or replace . I should have read the reviews before purchase

Couldn’t find a hose long enough on Temu, but were delighted to find it on magic hose!
When it arrived it arrived in 2 pieces with a connector. This is not what I wanted or ordered. Now I have to return it at my own cost.
When I made them aware it’s not on the website, all of a sudden it appeared at the bottom.

So if you need a long hose, you’re better off shopping on Temu and getting a connector. It will be a third off the price of these crooks.

Bought one last year. Wish I'd bought it years ago. Expands quickly when you turn the water on and shrinks back quickly when you have finished. Nice and light. Just watered the garden today and topped the pond up.

Seriously, if it were possible to award less than one star for this product, I would go for it straight away. AVOID THIS ITEM AT ALL COSTS!!!!! I had the original one replaced because it leaked in several places the first time I used it, and now the same thing is happening with the new one. Worst product ever. What a complete waste of money.

The hose had a puncture within 9 months with very limited normal use. I would not recommend buying at all. It seemed great at first, but simply doesn't work.

Just thrown away my second 'Magic Hose'. Both have burst within a month of having them, no idea why, they seem to be so delicate and if it bends or twists (through general even gentle use) that seems to be that, the interior rubber hose gives up and you have a leak. I tried repairing it but to no avail, so another £40 down the drain. Never again. My advice is stick to a stronger hose reel, I appreciate they can snag but it's a small price to pay than the cost of these 'magic hoses' which simply aren't fit for purpose in my experience.

Scam company. Bought a hose, set it all up and it leaked straightaway. Called the company so many times, no reply, e-mailed also no reply. Please don’t purchase.

They need to be investigated.

I bought a hose pipe from them via amazon. I reported that it leaked after 3 months, despite numerous e mails they never got back to me. The hose pipe is useless and a complete waste of money. Do not buy from this company as they are fraudsters selling products that do not work

The worst company I’ve dealt with ever do not buy from them.. product was faulty and they would not refund still trying to get a result hose was split on using for the first time
I just wanted refund I’ve gone through my bank now .. do not buy from these people

A great idea poorly executed. I was initially pleased with the hose. It curled up into a bucket and was so much easier to store than reeling in a traditional hose. But the inner neoprene (?) soon started leaking and then split entirely so that it was unusable after little more than a year of light garden use. On top of that the tap union is not user replaceable or serviceable as it has a metal crimp that can’t be loosened or tightened without special tools. Back to a traditional hose and reel for me. Take heed of this and other reviews here and steer clear.

The hose has only lasted a matter of weeks - trying to get my money back. The problem the hose stopped retracting is 3 times its length and water does not come out - some seeps out of the sides . They asked for a video which I sent with an audio explaining what was wrong .....and visual proof that no water was coming out apart from some seepage. They said they wanted another video of the evidence??? Feel they are just hoodwinking me. Don't deal with this company they are not reputable!

If anyone thinking of buying a Hose please don't buy from this Magic Hose company.There is NO magic ,if anything the item is rubbish nothing like what it has described.
They would not give refunds unless customer send a video of the problem.
I agreed with most of reviews.These are cheep shit PLEASE DON'T BUY ANYTHING
