The Royal Mail unbelievably couldn't find the address and sent the parcel back to the seller, yet the seller was so kind to post it to a different address free of charge. Top service.

Had an emergency due to a broken sewage pump and the man in the shop was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately they had non in stock but he was happy to order one in for me as soon as possible. In the meantime, I managed to repair my pump, but the cancellation process was easy and I received a full refund much faster than expected. Would highly recommend machine mart for their fantastic service

I ordered a new replacement air compressor check valve as I am pretty sure my existing one is faulty as it leaks from the pressure switch when not running. I haven't fitted the valve yet but it looks good quality and was well packaged when delivered and was delivered quite quickly by royal mail. All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase from machine mart

I have recently bought three quite expensive items. Each one was delivered promptly. The extractor fan is quite well made, apart from an awkward switch. The extractor hose needs more refinement as it is awkward to keep together when collapsed, and the basic hanging rings are poorly placed. The wooden tool chest has an inconsistent wood finish and poorly chosen wood for the front edge. I have an older one which does not have these problems. Any replacement could be similar without seeing it first.

The pump is fine and works well.
It would have been 5 but this is a direct replacement for previous pump which was same make and model. When went to fit it the pipe connections had changed from male / female to flat compression which meant all existing pipes had to be changed.

Price was the main issue, product was on special offer 👍 which offset the high cost of delivery, the item is huge and 140 kg, so not easy to click and collect, delivery essential.

I would think twice about using Machine Mart again as a result of my unsatisfactory experience. Only 33% of my order arrived on time and only 50% of what did eventually arrive was complete.

I would like to say that the customer support team is good. They responded swiftly to my issues and were very well informed.

However this poor review reflects a couple of other issues that I had.

1: I ordered 3 shelf units on Monday for delivery the next day. All were sent out but FedEx only delivered one the next day, one the day after and the third didn't arrive the third day. Support were understanding and chased up FedEx, refunded the meagre extra I paid for next day delivery and cancelled the final shelf unit to be returned to them after I had had enough of waiting in for a delivery that may or may not turn up. Stop using FedEx. They have a Trustpilot score of 1.2 stars. Why use a company with such a poor record? It reflects badly on Machine Mart when things go wrong. Also, as I never received the final unit I am unhappy that I have to wait for it to be returned to you before I get my refund.

2: Of the 2 shelf units that did arrive one had parts missing which I reported on Wednesday. Customer support organised their replacement. However, considering I had initially requested next day delivery, it was not seen as a priority and it is now Friday and they will not arrive until sometime next week. Final delivery day uncertain at this point but inevitably I will have to waste another day waiting in. Of course, no one cares about that except to offer an inane platitude.

Parts ordered arrived on time and well packaged. I bought a battery charger and other items. The battery charger is well made and straightforward to use. It has already easily charged a couple of car batteries. Not used the car ramps yet, but they are robustly built so should be ideal for DIY vehicle work.
