Just moved to area and asked around who to use, was advised to use this team .. I won’t be .. booked a pick up for 8.50 am got a call at 8.20 am to confirm the taxi and departure time from the airport we were aiming for … needless to say they obviously them arrived 20-25 mins late (as they had a delayed drop off in new mills that had a knock in effect … but why call at 8.20 to confirm and why say ‘they are only 5 mins away when they are clearly 20 mins away ..’ when we called to chase .. just be honest that you messed up your bookings and there is a delay ..

I always pre book my taxi with Links for 10pm when I finish work but regularly see drivers accept my job but then cancel it when they realise that my fayre may only be approximately £6, probably hoping for a better offer. AVOID Requested a taxi was told 20 minutes, so booked it. After 35 minutes when it had not arrived I rang them to be told it would be another 45 minutes. When I questioned the operator why I had been told 20 minutes when realistically it was 1 hour 20 the operator hung up. This is not the first time this has happened. I ordered 24 hours in advance for a taxi to the train station. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out I was getting on a train. 25 mins late, no apology. Missed my train: fuming!
What is the point of having an app that allows pre booking at a certain time if they are just going to disregard it.
Called and spoke to them they weren’t remotely bothered or apologetic. Don’t bother using this firm if you have anywhere to be.

Really bad experience driver didn’t know destination he went right across a roundabout could have caused a serious accident maybe when hiring drivers they need to check the drivers experience.
Never arrives without issues
Every time I request a taxi it goes tot he wrong address, despite them having the correct address and post code provided. It is not the drivers fault. It seems to be an error in the software they use.
I've complained on each occasion but to date this has not been resolved.

What a Lynx Recovery
So gave my last lynx driver a poor review for being rude to me and my daughter when asked to drop us off short of our destination (having paid in full for the whole ride to my original destination)
ANYWAY today’s driver was an absolute delight … I had to go back into the house for something… nothing was too much trouble for him.
Great recovery for the Lynx team … so much so that my wife did not want to use them !!
Anyway all good now 😎🤩

Booked a ride on app for an early morning short trip 24 hours prior and paid.
I received confirmation it was received and booked. At time taxi was due an alert came up saying driver had rejected fare. I rang Lynx and they said would have someone there in 5 mins - 10 mins later and several messages telling me various drivers had rejected ride I checked and found an Uber nearby for considerably less. Cancelled Lynx and in 2 mins I was in taxi writing this.
Will never use Lynx again app deleted. Have given you a lot of business over years but you’ve lost mine now.

This taxi firm is hideous. How they have a contract with the hospitals across Manchester when they treat poorly children and their carers with contempt is beyond me! They tell you what time they're coming to the house, then come 30mins + early and proceed to spam your phone and beep their horn whilst in my case, I'm getting an unwell child ready. When it's time to transport you home you wait forever and get a taxi that stinks of vape, a driver who is miserable as sin and little understanding of the English language. If you call them, they put you through to the accounts dept. I spoke to Ameera today and she was vile, zero customer service skills. My daughter could hear how she was speaking to me and was in disbelief. When the taxi finally arrived, the taxi driver Abdul was equally foul. Because I had my daughters with me for moral support for my son and it's the holidays he refused to let us in (there was more than enough capacity for them), and because I said this has never been an issue before he decided to cancel the ride. In what world does a taxi firm dealing with sick children have such irrational, rigid rules?? Ended up taking an Uber.
I am hating taking my son to the hospital not for what he is going in for daily but having to deal with these awful people, they have no soul. I have enough stress at the moment with a poorly child without dealing with these horrible people.

Lynx Taxi - A Terrible Decline
I’ve been working with Lynx Taxi for almost 8 years, and I’ve never experienced the kind of issues that have come up since Derek joined as manager. The company used to be decent, but now they change the rules every day just to satisfy their egos. There’s no support or communication for drivers anymore, and we’re treated more like slaves than valued workers. Derek has made things worse, not better – instead of solving problems, he’s creating them. It’s a shame to see how bad this company has become. I can't recommend Lynx Taxi to anyone.

They left us and another (separate) couple stranded. We booked a taxi a few days before to pick us up at 11.30pm after a gig at Withenshaw Park. After waiting half an hour we called and were told we would get a text when the car was in its way. Another 15 minutes they called to say they were trying to find a driver. We called back after a bit to be told the driver was just dropping someone off and would be 10minutes. Eventually we gave up and got in a passing cab. Ten hours later we’re still waiting for a text to say the cab’s been dispatched.
Oh and forgot to mention the can that took us to the Park went through a red light snd nearly caused an accident.

I wish I could give no stars. Booked online and they gave me details of 3 different taxis which were apparently on route to me, and then just left me stranded.

I pre-booked online a taxi from Lynx Taxis to pick me up from Macclesfield railway station. The taxi did not arrive and, half an hour after the scheduled time I had booked the taxi for, I called up and was told there were no taxi drivers in Macclesfield that they could send to me. What is the point of me pre-booking a taxi if one is not going to show up for the time and location I booked it for? I cancelled my booking and booked a taxi with another operator which arrived only a few minutes later and took me to my destination.

I've never saw a taxi company that takes money from you account when you sign up. £1.01 was taken from my account for no service. That amount should be deducted from your first booking. I won't recommend signing up with them.
