Lucas Cycles LTD is a family run business. Since 2020 we have been specialising in low mileage used motorcycles. In 2023 we became a Talaria official stockist for ON and OFF road electric vehicles. Our current vehicle stock of 30 used bikes continues to expand year on year, with over 150 customers taking delivery of their new vehicle in 2022 alone. Laura Plested, comes from a background in design, customer service and sales. Matthew Plested, has over 17 years experience in the motorcycle sector, building the UK’s No1 learner legal centre, Speedway Motorcycles LTD dealing with technical, sales and service.

Ordered a talaria x3 mx bike on Friday…
Ordered a talaria x3 mx bike on Friday through the finance option I was told 1-7 days I received my bike on Thursday fully charged ready to ride, any enquires I had where answered straight away very helpful, all around a very well run business, I will be using Lucas cycles again in the future.

Great bloke! Very informative and dedicated asked about the bike 12 this morning went to view and had it by 11pm that same night! Absolutely smashed it working late and overall a great experience. Would recommend LucasCycles to anyone looking at their site 10/10 all the way through!

Answered all my questions, I put a deposit down on a Monday and the bike was delivered Monday night and it was free delivery! excellent service and the bike was fully ready to ride, talked me through all the bikes controls and wasn’t in a rush even though it was late, thank you Lucas cycles!

Contacted Lucas Cycles regarding the purchase of a new motorcycle but was told they were not interested in taking the bike I’d bought from them a year (or so) earlier in part exchange.

Purchased a Talaria Sting R this week. Matt delivered mine and a friend's within 2 days of ordering and I'm nearly 5 hours away from the shop. Bikes are pre built and ready to ride from delivery. Super smooth service and very helpful. Will definitely be recommending Lucas cycles to others. Pleasure doing business.

Unfortunate Experience Seller does not…
Unfortunate Experience Seller does not offer payment protection for buyers - was happy to take a deposit via pay pal, but wanted the balance payment into his bank. For online sales - all the signs of a scam, no online solution offered, so had to charge back my deposit. Also I had to point out damage on the seat which was not mentioned in his ebay listing. Not to be trusted, So NOT Recommended.

Customer contacted via Ebay from abroad asked about vehicle and potential purchase including if the seat was ripped.
We stated it was and would replaced included in the sale of vehicle. Customer placed order on our website £200 deposit and vehicle was ready to go three days later.
After sending invoice and stating he could pay via Credit, debit card, cash or bank transfer he then decided to send 5 diffrent payments via PayPal of of amounts from 3 different bank accounts and addresses.
This immediately sent red flags in which we contacted the customer and stated we reversed the paypal payments excluding the original deposit as per terms and conditions.
Other options were explained via Card, cash or bank transfer but Mr Geoffrey White became very abusive via phone and email. We declined to sell vehicle to him as he refused to see vehicle and wanted to send a seperate courier for the bike.
We had no intention of being scammed so parted ways with the customer and refunded original deposit via PayPal.
Any customer is free to view a vehicle before purchase. And no we do not accept PayPal for motor vehicles as PayPal.do not give buyer or seller protection cover as per their own Terms and Conditions.
