LS is a bum wrap. Living Social's solution to dealing with customers--Just don't answer the phone. Keep people on hold so long that they hang up...When everything is going fine, LS is great. If you have a question about a discrepancy that requires talking to someone...forget it, apparently. Was on hold for almost 40 minutes. Had to give up. I'm done with this company. Groupon is much better. But, I doubt these reviews matter to the company, I really do.

Bought a service certificate for TINTworks San Jose through LivingSocial website. Tintworks refused to honor the certificate, said LivingSocial never reimburses them for service certificates. Requested a refund from LivingSocial. They said I would have a credit in my bank account in 9 days, that was 45 days ago. Called them multiple times, put me on hold and never returned. After 1st call for refund, they erased my purchase history from my account on their website. During 2 of my calls to them, they said they had no record of my account.

I reported this matter to the USPS for mail fraud. They were happy to take the case.
Also reported to California Attorney Consumer Fraud unit. They have received multiple compaints about LivingSocial.com

I ordered a Parka coat on the 26/01/2016 for my sons birthday and it has not yet arrived. Like everybody else I tried to phone but was told the wait was 30 minutes, I hung up straight away. Whilst searching (in vain) for an E Mail address I came across this site and I am now very concerned that my item will never arrive and I will not get £43.98 refunded!! there is no mention on my 'Vouchers' page of who the supplier is so I can't even contact them directly! Worryingly, I am also waiting for 2 other items that have yet to arrive although I only ordered them a few days ago- I really wish I hadn't now!! I have ordered items in the past with good results so I am slightly crossing my fingers and hoping for the best!

I purchased a magnetic mobile phone holder ...on receipt there were no instructions on how to put the thing together - I really was pure rubbish... and I now discover there is no way you can return the item.. it did not cost very much but thats not the point.. the item was not fit for purpose.

placed an order on the 24th january 2016 and order came on the 12th February 2016. it was only a set of towels that cost £19.99 but they charged £4.99 for the worst delivery service ever, not the courier fault they got it on th 9th feb. and delivered on the 12th feb.
i don't know what this company is doing,maybe they only work 1 day a week but this is completely unacceptable in age of free next day delivery. maybe they should take a leaf out of amazons book.

How is this company still in business. Bought item. It was the wrong colour and quality was terrible. I'm in the process of trying to return the item and the hassle is unbelievable.
They don't provide customer service email and the wait times are over an hour. The reason: They want their customer to go away.

Ordered goods and paid for them on 18/1/16 but not delivered. Can't contact them as no customer service - apart from a US telephone number which just keeps you hanging on.
I've learned my lesson and will never deal with this company again.

If there was a category for negative stars, I would assign negative stars. I ordered clutches from Flora Brides via Living Social. I have never received anything and Flora Brides cannot be contacted. i have been on hold with Living Social for an eternity and a day and have yet to talk to a human being. While on hold, i have read online way too many reviews of just how awful Living Social is. Their customer service line said the wait was half an hour and now I am over an hour. i am going to delete Living Social from my email and never, ever buy from them again and let everyone I talk know just how poor this is and how they should not waste their time or money. This is beyond pathetic.

ordered a ralph lauren jumper has a stocking filler present for my boyfriend the order was placed on 7th dec the company claimed it gaurenteed to be delivered by xmas what a absolute joke! jumper arrived 12th jan! the jumper is extremely thin and judging the quality im very dubious about its actualy ralph lauren id never purchase again from this company. also i tried chase up my order via phone and email never got to speak to anybody!

Placed an order well within the guaranteed Christmas delivery time for an ethonol fire. Had the same long wait on the phone to talk to someone. On the second phone call I was told to contact the courier myself (MyHermes - there is a disaster waiting to happen) The Courier's website would not let me submit a problem and the phone number just cut me off) Each time I called Livingsocial I was asked if I wanted a refund, which I refused as I had already spent £25 on fuel for this. This morning(11/01/2016) I have had an email to say that they could not resolve the matter and am giving me a refund!!! Please be very careful if ordering from this company!!

i purchased some Dr Dre i beets on the 9th December still waiting for them tried to contact them, the same response as everyone else who have tried to phone them, no answer i was on there for a good 45 minutes so i contacted them on face book 2 days ago still no reply i have now looked at the watch dog website and they give you a free number 0800 014 8431 on the watchdog site it states from a living social spokesman !!!!!! LivingSocial places customer service at the very heart of our business and we strive to ensure members and partners alike benefit from a great experience with us.!!!!!! what a joke

I signed up with living social. Their website wouldent take my bank info. Around and around with tech support and he said " can someone help you with your computer"? I have a degree in IT! They want you to do the service and not pay you! I turned them into BBB AND said if anyone cas me for a service ill tell them its a scam and turn to living social for a refund!!!! Pigs!

I ordered a jumper on 10th Dec and it still hasn't arrived. Have tried to get through to them but they never answer the phone and there is always a 20 - 30 minutes wait time in the call queue. How ridiculous. I will not be using them again.

Ordered an item on 10th December , I have heard nothing since. Tried ringing them but im having the same issues as everyone states on here. Cannot get through to speak to anyone and can't find can e-mail address for them. Has anyone got any suggestions how to get my money back please. I advise people to avoid using living social it seems to be a scam company

Ordered some beats earbuds and a necklace for my daughter for Christmas at the beginning or December and they still haven't arrived. No dispatch e-mail or correspondence from the company at all. Have tried to contact them but I can never get through. I'm guessing from reading these reviews that I may not even receive these items at all. Terrible way to treat customers especially as these were a child's Christmas presents. Shame on you Livingsocial! Avoid buying anything from this sham set-up.

I paid £9.98 for a colouring book from these on 1st Dec 2015, and it still not arrived (today 21st Dec 2015). There is no email address to chase them up. Instead when you ring the UK tel number, provide, they never answer. The recorded message tells you that it is a 30 min wait before your call is answered. I have rang 5 times now, waiting a minimum 30 mins each time ,sometimes fair bit longer. They never answer or you just get cut off. Sometimes it will just say, this number is not available. Please, do not use them as you will waste money and time. Save yourself whole lot of stress by going elsewhere. I am not being vindictive, just telling the truth to protect others. This company is a disgrace. It takes your money instantly and you get nothing.

Just like many others have said about this company. Ordered goods worth over £70 on 3rd Dec, supposedly in time for Christmas. Have received nothing. Wait times on the phone are totally unreasonable IF you actually manage to get through without the phone going dead. No email address to contact. Slight response via Facebook messenger but no action taken or help. Recommend you do not deal with this company. Only wish I'd read the reviews before making the purchase. Has anyone been successful in getting a refund for goods not delivered? If so please tell me how??

Ordered Polo shirt 1 month ago and still waiting after a 14 working day delivery. No customer e-mail to contact then and now still waiting on phone after 43mins after being told 30min waiting time! I will NOT be ordering again...ps order oral b toothbrush heads and they came quick enough only cost £3.99 but were copies not even oral b genuine products. Not even worth trying to get my money back....Grrrrrrrrrrr 46mins waiting now will round off to 1hr and hang up I fear £33.98 down the drain!!

Ordered some bracelets as Christmas presents for my best friends in the end of November. They definitely don't deliver stuff in time they promise (no presents for my friends this Christmas it seems) and the worst part about this whole experience is speaking to the customer support. They were no help at all and when I asked what they suggest doing now, it felt like they couldn't care less. Asked for a refund and they said it's not possible. I will never ever use this service again. I haven't been so utterly disappointed with any other service like this before.
BTW - the website says if you want to get your presents before Christmas, order before 9th of December. Such a joke! It feels like you need to order stuff in September to get them in December (if you ever get them at all).

Ordered a RC drone for my husbands Xmas at the end of October email stated dispatched 9/11/15 and would take 12days to receive. Today is the 16th dec and still waiting for it to arrive. Called them end of Nov was told they would look into it. Have tried calling them but their line is now a dead tone!! THEY HAVE ROBBED ME OF £41!!
AVOID this sham of a company like the plague!!!!! 😡👎🏻
