Should be zero stars
Should be zero stars. I was contacted by this company in August 2019. I cancelled my £100 cheque deposit about 10 minutes after the salesman had left having discovered all sorts of ridiculous clauses and hidden costs that he had failed to mention.
A few weeks later I found out they had set up a standing order after taking my bank details and from the cheque. They took another £100 (supposedly the second instalment). The bank refunded this as I had not personally set up this transaction.
I have reported them to Trading Standards. I have also spoken to other people who have experienced the EXACT same issues. When I called the Medical Centre they purported to be calling from, they had never heard of them and don't even use patient appointment cards. Avoid this company at all costs!!

I have had a terrible experience dealing with this company they pressure sold the contract. Have breached the contract by not placing the advert on the card in the Doctors surgery. The Managers refused to come to the phone to speak to me. I have informed Trading Standards and Leisure Medical UK have now sent Debt collectors. This will be dealt with by my solicitor. I highly recommend not signing any contract with this company.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY LEISURE MEDICAL UK.
I had a salesmen come round to say I could advertise on appointment cards a local GP surgery. I paid £156 upfront, the 2 subsequent payments of £104. I was then charged £95+VAT 'for artwork' even though my advert was already done and I just had to send it to them.
I have since found out that the local GP surgery has a contract with a completely different appointment card provider and has done since way before I signed my contract. In fact the surgery hasn't ever seen the card I was sent to sign off. I have seen in the terms about only being able to cancel my contract within 12 months of signing it. I have now gone through Trading Standards and have sent a letter to them to say I will be seeking damages under the Misrepresentation Act 1967 as well as the violation of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.
Companies like this need to be stopped.

I had a rep from this company call into my shop to sell me an advert with my local doctors. We had a discussion at length about this. I told him I was unsure for various reasons. During our discussion he assured me that I would be the only florist on the appointment card, with this I decided to go ahead. I categorically assured me there would be no other florist. Imagine my shock upon receiving a copy of the cards. There was in fact another florist on the card, a florist who just so happens to be several doors down from my shop.
I contacted them regarding this and was told it states in t&c's that we are not granted exclusivity. I have since emailed them and have just received a rather patronising email stating the t&c's at me and then telling me to fetch my account up to date. I have also found out it is a rolling contract and I have to send a recorded letter to them stating I am cancelling the following year.
I am now seeking legal advice as I was blatantly miss sold this advert and told them I will not be paying another penny until I have received some advice.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

A not so good company
A terrible company. Incorrect advertising, no proper communication channels. They send letters with no names so you can't reply or ask for anyone in particular.
They finish their letter with 'yours sincerley' and have no name underneath that.
It's a shamble.
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible. Honestly do not deal with them. They have been terrible from start to finish. They do not respond to emails. You can only speak to a manager in writing and they don’t respond to emails! I received a debt recovery threatening letter for a payment after I had paid and sent proof in an email but they ‘hadn’t got the email’. Use at your own peril!!

Do not use this company
do not use this company. They Falsely claimed to be from a local medical centre and sent a sales man who explained nothing to me. Told me I had £125 to pay so was sunrise when I received another £100 invoice a month later followed by a £270 one a month after for second year. I was really annoyed but thought I had only signed 2 years so left it. Last week received invoice for 3rd year called them and was told it was in my contract. Delved in to info about the contract and found its in violation of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 with the following points :
• cold calling me and claiming to be from Member of the staff at my local medical centre which was false
• hiding important contract details in small print such as an auto-renewing contract , artwork fee charged every year , a requirement to cancel in recorded mail only
• asking for an excessively long notice period of 12 months
• aggressive and misleading sales with none of the above points pointed out to me by the salesman at the point of sale
Report to trading standards!
I also looked in to them on companies house they have published DORMANT ACCOUNTS since 2005, a dormant company cannot legally issue you an invoice, It’s against the law . I have reported them to HMRC and encourage everyone else to do the same! Do not fall for the same mistakes I did !! They need reporting and sentencing for what they are doing, absolutely disgusting
now they are reporting all the bad reviews about them to get them removed
Obtuse, Pedantic and Small-Print-Dependent
A door-to-door salesman used the usual psychological pressure points to coerce me into an on-the-spot contract signing for an advertising slot. (As others have said already, this slot turns out to be somewhat useless - most GPs don't use physical appointment cards by default.)
The small print disguised several important facts: auto-renewing contract, different rolling prices to the initial prices, artwork fees charged every year (even if no modifications have been made), a requirement to cancel in recorded mail only, and a TWELVE MONTH CANCELLATION NOTICE PERIOD. The salesman drew my attention to none of this and was very manipulative.
Come 2-year date, the contract ticks over for a huge amount, which they DD'd out of my account. Never had one invoice from them, never a notice of renewal. I had to ask for these specifically. They then refused to accept my cancellation or listen to my protests by email.
Most of this would be in violation of the Consumer Protection Act 2015 and/or the Consumer Protections from Unfair Trading 2008, if I was a private consumer. (You can't hide important contract details in small print; you can't have punitively long cancellation notice periods; you have to provide a cancellation form and clearly explain the methods of cancellation; you can't obfuscate extra charges or price changes. Et cetera.)
UPDATE: However, as Leisure Medical's legal team have pointed out when they flagged this review, this does not apply to business-to-business contracts, which mine was. It should, but it doesn't. The legal system isn't there yet.
Nice job trying to get reviews taken down with legal technicalities, by the way, guys. That's really classy and makes you look GREAT to future customers.
Anyway, I wrote the classic strongly-worded letter explaining all of this, and naming those two pieces of legislation, and posted it (recorded mail). Happily, they instantly capitulated. The bank reclaimed the money for me (I dread to think how hard it'd have been to get it back otherwise).
Basically, they're not actually crooks - they're just obtuse, pedantic and small-print-dependent. They draw up misleading contracts with loads of small print, hoping and expecting that you won't examine it too closely; hoping you won't notice how useless and overpriced the advertising space is in this day & age; hoping you won't notice the autorenewal payments going out until it's too late; hoping you won't try to defend yourself or reclaim your money after the fact.
Don't be cajoled. This is a business strategy from a bygone era; it isn't going to survive the legal spotlight much longer, and they must surely know it. As private consumers we have really good protections against this sort of thing already; I just hope the same protections extend to sole traders like myself soon, since we operate with effectively the same resources as normal consumers.
Balance time. The actual product was exactly as described, and in another universe, this could be a good business. I hope they have a hard look at their practices and totally rebuild their contracts and sales strategies from the ground up. There's nothing wrong with selling advertising spaces door-to-door - you just need to do it honourably. You need to communicate clearly and act like you're on their side. You need to keep them informed and make sure they understand all of the costs and terms. You also need to accurately represent the exposure and relevance of the space you're selling, and price it accordingly. Respect your customers, then we'll talk.
NO STARS!!!
NO STARS!!!! As per previous comments. Stay clear. Reported to ombudsman and trading standards. Taking legal action!!!! Ignorant and rude staff whom don’t listen to anything you say.

Signed up and advertised my business on the new patient appointment cards in 2 medical centres in my area, this is the second time round as it worked so well when i first joined 2 years ago, im exclusive on the card and i find it works very well for my business.

Would highly recommend there services.
Should have been shut down by Trading Standards years ago
Impossible to deal with and have taken so many people for money, and yet Trading Standards, that we pay for out of the public purse do nothing except tick boxes. I'm not sure what is more annoying, Leisure Medical UK or the authorities that are deliberately avoiding doing their jobs that they are paid to do and closing this outfit down.

So I have just received a voicemail from these. Im hoping it is a coincidence and (because I am a business) but they are actually stating my personal GP Surgery or now i'm wondering do they have access to my GP's Patient Records. If I had not read this first I possible would of called them back thinking it was with reference to an appointment or something as they said they were calling with reference to the surgery. Reported as they should not be cold calling.

3rd time I have had to review this post
I was told on the day by there salesman that payment was over split over 2 years and then started getting letters telling me I had to pay it all now and the price had risen, I had to record a phone call with them to back up what I had to pay and by when, I would not trust this company again.
I was told that my cards would be used at a high rate over the 2 years however I checked and recorded a visit to the surgery every few months and my cards were never there.
If this post ever stays up online. I have had to deal with this post for years as the company in question and Trustpilot have not let the post stay visible. this is the 3rd time I have changed the post in order for that it can be seen and my opinion count

My wife was approached by a slick salesman telling her as a local business she would be helping the medical centre in our village. She refused to sign up to any contract or commitment so the salesman took £75 in cash. This was a year ago now she has been harassed constantly for £331. She has obviously refused to pay and her case has been handed to RESOLUTE DEBT RECOVERY who are now continuing the onslaught. I have reported both these companies to trading standards and our local MP.

Nuisance caller!
I have a missed call from this number so often but this time 'Lisa' left a voicemail saying 'Hi - its Lisa, call me back on 01257...'. I rang back as I wondered if it was a legitimate caller, but no, it is Leisure Medical. I understand the rules around cold calling and GDPR so I know that what they are doing is not illegal, but it is very poor practice not to say what your company name is.
