AS A VULNERABLE CUSTOMER CHAMPION (FOR A SECOND TIME!!!) THE LAST TIME THEY TRIED AND FAILED TO GET ME COMPENSATION FROM CRAMP AND MULHANEY WHEN A SOLICITOR SAID I SHOULD PLEAD GULITY TO POLICE ASSAULT ON ME WHICH CONFUSED HER AS IT WAS A WELFARE CHECK ON BEACHY HEAD!!!...I HAD BEEN PUT THROUGH ENDLESS HOMELESS TORTURE OVER 8 YEARS TO DATE WHICH IS TOO MUCH TO GO INTO.) I AM GETTING THROUGH ALL THESE GOVERMENT OMBUDMSAN SCAM REVIEWS. DAN SAXBY FROM CORRUPT BRIGHTON HOUSING TRUST HAD TOLD ME TO GO THE LOCAL GOVERNEMNT AND SOCIAL CARE OMBUDSMAN FOR COMPENSATION AS THEY KEEP ARRESTING HOMELESS PEOPLE...THAT WAS A SICKENINGLY EXHAUSTING PROCESS JUST LIKE THIS ONE; I HAVE NOW BEEN THROUGH THE LEGAL OMBUDSMAN PROCESS AGAIN AS A VULNERABLE CUSTOMER CHAMPION OF ENDLESS EMAILS AND PHONECALLS AND MONTHS FOR NOTHING BUT LIES AND COVER- UPS OF THE MOST HENOUS CRIMES AND FAILINGS (THAT IS THAT THE LAW FIRMS DO NOT MIND A BIT OF POLICE BRUTALITY, INJURY AND HANDCUFFING ON A DISBALED ADULT HERE AND THERE.) I AM CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF PUTTING A LANDLADY IN PRISON AFTER BEING BEATEN OUT OF MY HOME AND THREAT OF BECOMING A POLITCIAL PRISONER FOR REFUSING TO CALL MY TRANSGENDER SISTER A MAN; I AM TAKING THIS TO THE STREETS TO SPEAK OUT AND HUMAN RIGHTS ALLEGANCE. I HAVE A SURVIVOR'S STORY; TO STICK TO THE POINT OF THE RECENT LEGAL OMBUDMSAN INVESTIGATION, AFTER MONTHS OF INVESTIGATING WHY LAWSTOP ALLOWED MY EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION TO BE TAKEN WITH A THREAT OF POLICE FOR REFUSING TO TAKE A DERELICT FLAT; AFTER A SOCIAL WORKER SAID IF THE FLAT WAS UNSUITABLE, SHE WOULD FIND ME SOMWEHERE ELSE, SHE LEFT HER JOB AND THE PARALEGAL AND HER MANAGERESS AT LAWSTOP ALLOWED MY ONLY ROOF TO BE TAKEN FROM ME AS A DISABLED ADULT. EVEN BRIGHTON HOSPITAL COMPLAINED. IT WAS DISGUSTING AND PREMIER INN ABUSED ME AND PACKED UP MY SUITCASES WHILST I WAS IN HOSPITAL AFER SELF FUNDING FOR A MONTH THERE. MONTHS AND MONTHS OF SEFLF FUNDING HOTELS AND SNET ALL THE WAY INTO THE COUNTRYSIDE ONLY FOR THE COUNCIL TO FUND JUST ONE NIGHT IN A TRAVEL LODGE WHILST I, ALONG WITH MY PARTNER WHO NEGLECTED SPENT THOUSANDS OF POUNDS OVER 8 YEARS INCLUDING BACK PIP. LAWSTOP, THE COUNCIL AND THE LEGAL OMBUDMSAN INVESTIGATOR SENT EMAILS COVERING THEIR BACKS WITH DISGURTING LIES AS PER USUAL, NO ACCOUNTABILITY. THE UK AND IT'S GOVERNMENT IS FINISHES AND FAILING US THE PEOPLE. I was threatened out of my emergency accommodation with Police in Newhaven in November 2023 but the Legal Ombudsman Investigator finished 'investigating' (lying and fobbing off) a few months ago. I used Lawstop in April 2023 after I was beaten out of my brand new 'supported' flat by Police homeless in March 2023 after distress at my Father's death, after the Local MP caused me to be assaulted after instructing me to go the council AFTER saying he would help me AFTER ignoring my online application in March 2022 after 9 months of self funding the Cavendish Hotel AFTER EASTBOURNE BOROUGH COUNCIL PROTECTED DANGEROUS CRIMINALS WHO ATTACKED ME IN COUNCIL ACCOMMODATION e.t.c e.t.c e.t.c....there is too much to say!!!! it is endless.

Solicitor admits in writing to failing to review our written documentation when agreeing to to do so.
Failed to insert the mandatory statement of truth as per CPR rules
Judge naturally rejects the submission.

We're charged twice to resubmit the SAME docs due to the Ashley Taylor Legal Limited failure which they admit writing. They've apologised yet refused to compensate ? Why?
Yet the Ombudsman says no errors were made ie no compensation is due !!!

Absolute joke in my opinion.

Take 2 years to even look at a complaint and then will not investigate most of the complaint because they give all of the benefit of doubt to the solicitor without investigating. They appear to have no interest whatsoever in looking at the facts or understanding the actual complaint their priority appears to be simply to find the quickest or easiest way to dismiss a complaint on the basis that its outside their scope. No sign that they want to investigate wrongdoing or serious failures in service. They appear to just want to get rid of the complaint without investigation

Same folk operating the criminal organisation Solicitor Regulation Authority. Criminal solicitors protecting each other's interests.
Didn't bother even looking at my complaint - told me they were inundated with complaints.

total disgrace incompetent needs to be put under thorough scrutiny investigated totally over hauled or needs closing down as dont serve the publics interest total hogwash

They do not gather evidence from the solicitors sadly and when you challenge them they dismiss you. They are based on their own opinions rather than facts and evidence. They sadly are solicitor biased and wont even ask them for evidence even if it is a solicitor rule which solicitors must follow, They actually dont care at all which very scary for the public as you wont get justice as they do not investigate! It is sadly corrupt!

Interesting to see that other people have also found the LEO have aggressively pursued them or blocked them for simply criticising them on twitter. They're just another corrupt layer of a corrupt legal system.

Shockingly, utterly, disgustingly bad - they don't follow their own guidance, the level of bias against complainants is off the scale, and beware because if you challenge them they will pursue you by any means with threats, dealing with the LEO has left me suicidal. They piled harm upon harm.

I had a barrister through Clerksroom who just did nothing, called none of my witnesses, did not cross examine any of my opponents witnesses and just ran off with £7,000, most of my last few savings.
My case involved fraudulent signing of documents by a solicitor.
I had been running the action as LIP for 5 years but wanted a skilled professional for the 2 day trial (which actually lasted for 2 hours).
I wrote to the barrister who arrogantly replied that his role was only as a mediator and he had acted 'in my best interests'.
I am over 100 years of age.
Seems my best interests involved my life savings of over £200.000 and my house and land valued at £600,000 + ending up who knows.
Clerksroom didn't want to know and sent me to this lot who are just there to kill off any complaints, methods are detailed by other contributors. It is actually a very cruel system as it gives long drawn out and painful hope of a resolution where none exists.

Dealing with this so-called 'regulatory body' was an absolute waste of time and energy. Despite presenting detailed, irrefutable evidence that clearly highlighted the negligence and fault of the legal firm in question, the Ombudsman chose to dismiss the case.

It took about three explanations to get the person investigating to even understand the issue. Then, instead of taking meaningful action, they chose the easy route—turning a blind eye to obvious wrongdoing.

It seems they're more invested in sitting back and doing nothing than in upholding justice for ordinary people.

desperate took 5 Rogue traders cases one effected the electrics and every room in our home so were in danger and the stress was immense
we chased our cases they mixed letters ,evidence they sent letters to wrong adress wrong expert ,never got libilty insurance rogues liquidated their companies before these had done a stroke of work of cases in nearly a year so we had to lodge one case they charged for !!
we were taken to court after we won due to wrong letter to claim.
But charged £30 k !!!
when we challenged them they terminated our contract to cover up
PR admitted the bill was wrong we have this recorded for our records

They then played games weeks and months and two 1/2 years later with myself and the ombudsman results shocking
my cptsd has been so poor with stress loss of my life had to endure major surgery and this as well

How can a government put in place such unequal unlawfull unprofessional not fit for purpose appauling
service

no wonder the solicitor s are having a absolute laugh at us all as the public and court system
SRA had 2 referels and nothing

seems i got told we do not have to follow equality law reasonable adjustments
we don’t have to treat you equal to a non disabled person
non following of clients best intrest charge what you like get client to chase on case great way to raise costs fraud !!

yet 50 files they expected myself cptsd and disabled to be able to represent myself
they refused to look at files resused recording s refused face to face due my disability
we do not follow sra principals

please explain how legal ombudsman have changed case officers 4 times to cover up i believe. This in it’s self it’s discrimination and appalling safeguarding.

The twitter account of the Legal Ombudsman blocked me after I criticised them. This even demonstrates what kind of an organisation this is.

Yet the LeO still claims that they are transparent.
Please go to their twitter account and criticise them there. I want to see how much time they are willing to dedicate to silence criticism against them, while trying to back up solicitors.

The Legal Obudsman recommended I take my Conveyancer to Court as they were not able to carry out the duty entrusted to them. The Legal Ombudsman Should pay all court fees and Barristers fees on my behalf and claim ti back from my Conveyancer. Instead they side step the issue and create distrust in the legal system that will eventually create Civil War as the Rule of Law is not respected or adherred to by the Legal Profession FRAUD on anational scale, have just received advise to make a judicial review against these supporters of legalised fraud the whole UK Justice system needs a judicial review by a non free Mason judge

Terrible service and waste of time. This is minus one. and effort. I should have read their review before taking a case against Carpenters group to them. They failed to address my presentation and either ignored my evidence or failed to review it properly. This was evidenced in their conclusion. I had to refer them them to it but they stuck to their conclusion. They are clearly out to protect and support the firm.

Do not even bother bringing your complaint to these pathetic and useless frauds, THEY ARE ENABLERS OF INJUSTICE AND MISCONDUCT. The Legal Ombudsman as is the case with the bar Standards Board, are the very same people you're complaining about.

CORRUPT TO THE CORE!

To anyone reading this please think twice about bringing your case to them. I really don't say this to put anyone off, but just to say this might cause you unnecessary stress.
You will wait for weeks and when they eventually get to your case (as in mine) they may point out and look at all their reasons not to investigate.

I recognise in my case that my complaint was out of date for them to look at, but the next point that was peculiar, is that the Legal Ombudsman considers that the unprofessional way I was written to by a the Firm in my case is acceptable and "They did nothing wrong".
They didn't even look at both of my letters in the first instance and had already decided the firm did nothing wrong so I mean there's that.

They are more focused on making a case fail than to investigate. In my case they sided with the Firm without saying they sided with the Firm without an investigation stage.

So as stated I did not get to the investigation stage but I now believe those that do manage to get their case over that hurdle face an impossible task.
We all need better than this.

Utter farce. If you believe, as I did, that this organisation is independent of the legal profession, unbiased and in place to ensure the consumer receives a fair service, forget it! They literally have no idea, and as such should be disbanded.

Please don’t waste your time using this organisation. Even if the company admit liability the compensation doesn’t even cover the cost of your time completing forms and the many emails chasing them up.
The consumer needs somebody on their side

Waste of time and is just suport to barrister firm and solicitor who is clearly selling your case to other party for personal gain . And ombudsman is supporting them throughly ignoring the evidence fact , law & judges point of view .
My case Handaler was very poor and I don’t think he was right person to to to be inter job as they don’t know what is their legal duty is . I lost my faith in system , court , judge , barrister , solicitor SRA , ombudsman , and BSB . All are together it’s a scam and set game . No honesty no justice is just money game .
It is very shocking how our legal system is act like joke . Public trust is not their need to fixed if we need bettrr future for our county .

A total waste of time dealing with them. They just look for a reason not to pursue the complaint, then tell you the reason in an over wordy way. You have no appeal, unless they are rude, and obviously they take care to word things politely. Our solicitor has other bad reviews online and does shoddy work, but the Ombudsman just wants to avoid picking them up on their unprofessional practices.
