Poor customer service
I ordered a laptop battery from this company on Saturday 2nd October. Almost immediately I realised I had made a mistake and tried to cancel the order within half an hour of placing it, via an email to Customer Care as requested on their website. On Monday 4th October I received an email from a lady called Wendy saying the battery had already been shipped and the best thing to do was to refuse the delivery when Hermes arrived to deliver it. I did this on 8th October and Hermes acknowledged the refusal. On 18th October Hermes delivered a parcel which I accepted as I had a number of online orders I was expecting. When I opened it, it was the battery which had been returned to me. I rang Laptops and Spares to ask why the battery had been sent back to me when I had already refused it. The agent had no record of it being returned and said it was shipped by PSA Parts which was another part of his company. He told me to return it at my own cost if I wanted a refund. I asked him to collect it at his company’s cost as I had refused it and it should not have been sent back to me. He told me it was the company’s policy to charge for returns and would not accept it was their error. It is evident from their reviews on Trustpilot that this company does not value their customers and this is just one more example.

Smooth process from start to finish. A bit apprehensive after seeing some of the Trustpilot reviews but decided to give it a go after seeing reviews elsewhere as it's a UK-based business with UK based stock, unlike a lot of websites that have a UK web address but were actually from China or Poland and would have required a longer wait for delivery.
I entered my spare part number from my user manual in the search - it gave me two HP original batteries which were around £40/£50 and their cheaper replacement model with the right volts, which was a 2-Power battery and £24. I compared the battery specs to a like-for-like 2-Power model on another trustworthy website, which was double the price but identical specs.
I decided to give it a go. The ordering process was simple. Because I ordered on Sunday, they dispatched straight away on Monday and for an extra £2.46, I was able to get the next working day DPD delivery so I received it on Tuesday. You are also able to track the order and process.
The battery comes with instructions from the manufacturer to get the best out of it. My laptop initially didn't recognise the battery, though charged it, as the instructions indicate it might but after it was fully charged and I restarted the laptop, the battery works perfectly, though I'm currently in the process of fully charging and discharging it a couple more times to calibrate the battery as the instructions say.
With my old battery, my laptop lasted a mere 20 minutes (if that) without the charger, even if it was 100% charged and often shut down without warning but now, no such problems and holding its charge.
I would recommend for the price and the swift service.

Purchased an adapter and it came really quick but wasn't the right adapter far too small for my laptop. I contacted Rebecca who continously delayed replying and when she did she just told me how I had ordered the wrong adapter. After numerous photos proving I was right she then ignored me. I had to phone her and she was very unprofessional and said she will arrange collection tomorrow with no apology or anything. Very rude verey unprofessional. I am a new technology business who will not be using again or recommending

Ordered RAM for my old laptop. Arrived the very next day as promised. I put this into the laptop memory slot and it starts purring away! Very pleased with the product and the ease of buying stuff online.

Website identified a compatible part that turned out not to be compatible after all. The company staff then blamed me for incorrect usage of their website (however, all communication was polite).
The lesson here is to search for the EXACT part you need (not the model number of the PC you are buying for). In my case, using the exact model number for my laptop resulted in the website showing me a "compatible" battery that was not compatible (even though the order confirmed the battery being for the model). If you don't know your part number then don't bother using the website service. I'd recommend a phone call instead.
In all fairness to the staff, they were contactable and after some debate I did manage to get the battery collected (and a refund was given).
Tread very carefully when ordering from this company!
I ordered a replacement battery for my HP laptop using the serial number on the old battery. I was directed to a page showing one battery that looked identical to my old one, so I ordered it. It came a couple of days later and on opening the box saw that it did indeed look exactly like the one for my laptop. However, on closer inspection it became apparent that the battery did not quite fit in the slots at the back. They were about an eighth of an inch out. I called a guy called Matthew Senior who said I had ordered the wrong battery. I said I put the correct serial number in and was then directed to a specific page that only showed one battery so I promptly ordered it. After a few words were exchanged I was again informed that I had ordered the wrong part number. Eventually, because I needed the battery, I agreed to order the one that Mr Senior assured me was the correct one. He also said that I should return the incorrect battery and that my card would be refunded with the original amount after they had confirmed that it was sent, and someone had signed that they had received it. I returned the battery by DHL as advised by their company and the cost was Just over £27.00. Confirmation from DHL came that the returned battery was delivered on Friday 26th July 2019. and signed for by someone called Damien. I then contacted Matthew Senior who was unable to tell me if they had received the returned goods or not.I did not expect to stand the return postage (£27) as at no time was I told, or on their website does it state, that customers will have to pay for any returns themselves.I have subsequently received a new battery which works perfectly. I have given a rating of 2 stars for this company, and it would have been 1 star if it wasn't for the fact that Mr Senior was polite and professional at all times.. even though my problem was not resolved.

The laptop screens on their website do not have images depicting the screens therefore I asked if a certain screen was compatible with my laptop and was informed it was.
The screen I received was not compatible and when contacting Matthew Senior he insisted it was.
He more or less in his reply suggested that I did not know what I was doing.
It was a different screen entirely to my one and as it had no securing holes on the frame therefore I could not hold it in place.
The connecting wires were in a completely different place.
I returned it at my own cost (they offered to to pick it up?)
Try as hard as I could Mr. Senior refused to apologise for the trouble he had caused me.
It seems everything is ok but when things go wrong it`s the buyer`s issue.
I feel I have been treated very badly and would advise anyone buying from this company to be wary of my poor treatment.
