I can't believe that anyone who's ever actually ordered a Laguiole direct from the forge or purchased from an authorised seller would ever have anything other than a five star experience.

Over the years I've purchased many of your blades, from Ram horn carving sets to a stunning 5000 year old fossilised folding knife. I have parts of the Golden Gate Bridge, elegant cheese blades and many more from your forge..

I just wanted to post here that whilst the hunting knife I've recently received is far from the most expensive I've previously ordered I have to say that it sits in my hand like no other and will be used and enjoyed on camping trips and daily in my garden for many years to come.

Thank you for maintaining your craftsmanship. It truly makes a difference.

Recently got a Laguiole knife as a birthday gift. These knives are beautifully made with the finest of materials. Mine was a folding knife with ebony handle and s/s bolsters. It is very well balanced in the hand and a joy to use. The company are very easy to deal with a very fast response to any queries. I would unhesitatingly recommend Laguiole.com as a company.

Franskbrød kniven er uduelig.
Knivene er flotte men ikke brugbare. Glem alt om selv at skære dit rugbrød, den tid er slut hvis du investerer i disse knive.

Laguiole.com, est une entreprise absolument recommandable. Les produits réellement conçus et fabriqués en France, rare aujourd'hui, méritent que des éloges. Tout est parfaitement pensé. Les lames, les bois des manches, ainsi que les étuis de ces couteaux, sont très supérieurs à ce que l'on trouve sur internet, d'origine douteuse, des copies de basse qualité, et qui malheureusement faussent les avis des clients. Afin de s'offrir un vrai couteau Laguiole, faites en l'acquisition auprès des fabricants-revendeurs réputés ( Laguiole.com est un parfait exemple )
Quant au service clientèle, Ras. Nickel.
Évitez les produits chinois...

Je n’arrivais pas à passer une commande un dimanche après-midi. J’ai contacté le service client qui m’a répondu immédiatement et a trouvé une solution pour moi. J’ai reçu l’article en moins d’une semaine livré en main propre chez-moi. J’ai commandé le sabre à champagne en bois d’olivier. Le bois est magnifique et la lame est de qualité exceptionnelle. Il est à noter qu’il faut mettre le prix pour avoir un “vrai” Laguiole. Les copies contrefaites sont moins chères mais n’ont rien à voir avec la marque de prestige. Je conseille d’acheter moins de produits et de prendre la qualité Laguiole. C’est un investissement. Je n’hésite pas à recommander.

J’avais une demande un peu spéciale pour la grave du laguiole que j’ai commandé. L’équipe a été très proactive sur la réponse et la réalisation, le résultat est vraiment parfait. Le niveau de détails est également impressionnant, on reconnaît là la qualité d’un véritable fabricant d’exception. Je recommande vivement de vous offrir à vous ou à vos proches un couteau à chérir tout au long de la vie !

Je viens ici m’excuser pour mon avis laissé, j’espère qu’il a été supprimé :
J’avais acheté sur le site de Veepee des moulins sel et poivre Laguiole cuisson en pensant qu’il s’agissait de la marque Laguiole. Or il ne s’agit que d’un moulin chinois qui rouille au bout de quelques semaines d’utilisation.
J’ai d’ailleurs écrit un avis spécialement pour eux.

J'ai laissé un avis objectif et aidant pour avoir un éclaircissement sur le vrai du faux. Mon avis a été retiré avec perte et fracas à la demande de Laguiole qui m'a répondu sèchement et désagréablement qu'il n'avait rien à voir avec les ventes Showroomprivé. Mon message n'a pas été lu correctement car loin de moi l'idée de les mettre dans l'embarras bien au contraire et je trouve très étonnant une telle agressivité mon message se voulait aidant. Car nous sommes nous aussi les dindons de la farce et je ne comprends pas qu'une telle situation de plagiat perdure encore.
Pourquoi tant d'agressivité? je réponds encore à votre message toujours peu agréable, pour vous rassurer : Et bien non je n'ai pas acheté sur Showroom, je me suis méfiée et me renseignais comme d'habitude. Je ne comprends pas que vous ne fassiez pas de réclamation à la DGCCRF. Quant à ma note si j'avais mis 5 vous ne l'auriez probablement pas lu, je monte ma note en réponse.

Jeg prøvede mit laguiole knivsæt i dag for første gang. Jeg brugte en af knivene i omkring 50min. Jeg har aldrig været så øm i hånden før. De har formet en lille bi eller insekt skulptur ved håndtaget som er længere ude fra skaftet end resten af skaftet. Dette gør ens hånd fuldstændig mør. Jeg synes det vildt at man ikke selv har prøvet at skære grøntsager med denne kniv før man lancerede den.

Det eneste positive ved dette kniv sæt er at jeg har fået det i gave. Og hvis man har lyst kan man komme og hente det helt gratis hos mig, så er man mere end velkommen. Seriøst lad vær med at købe det. Og ved nærmere efter tanke smider jeg sættet ud. Ingen skal føle den smerte jeg har udsat min højre hånd for med disse knive.

I have purchased a Laguiole cutlery set from Peters of Kensington for my Son as a house warming gift. I first noticed them at a restaurant where my wife and I were dining and was impressed by the design and quality. I have not been disappointed and will definitely purchase additional items from a an obviously great company who take pride in their product.

I recently added a review that was initially negative, albeit about post-sales expereience, but I believe now it was caused by a technical issue preventing the website from accepting my info request. Beyond that, the quality of the products purchased from laguiole.com is really high and worth their price. Once the issue preventing me from contacting me the customer support, the experience was more than the allowed 5 stars here. Sometimes the replies posteh here might show otherwise, but I received 10 times the customer care I was expecting for the value I paid for the product I purchased. I just wanted to set the record straight, and the current correction is caused by outstanding customer support, while there was no attempt to offer any incentives to provide a new review, so my reaction here is unbiased. Hope this helps!

Alors vous auriez peut être réfléchi avant de vendre votre nom à n’importe qui…j’enlève mon avis négatif sur votre site ….puisqu’il s’agit de Lagiole cuisson et non pas Laguiole couteau mais le consommateur n’est pas forcément au courant!! Il aurait fallu protéger votre label et votre réputation pour éviter que des fabricants peu recommandables se servent de ce nom !!!

Laguiole.com sent me a defective product and, after offering to replace or repair it, they kept it and did not refund my money.

I am happy to find a place to leave this negative review.

They sent me a defective knife, the blade pressed against the side when closing so it would grind down and chip over time.

After some friendly email conversations with laguiole.com, I sent it back to be fixed or replaced.

The representative at laguiole.com decided that I was rude (I'm not sure why) and he kept my defective knife, did not send a replacement, did not send a refund, and refused to communicate further.

That's fraud and theft.

I will NEVER do business with laguiole.com and I suggest you do not, either.

Note: the knife was from from a French manufacturer, I believe it was Actiforge, with the head of a boar stamped on the blade.

Just thought I would mention that to head off the expected party-line accusation that I bought a Chinese fake or from the manufacturer's website. I did not. Laguiole.com is a store that sells products from a variety of manufacturers, including this one.

Absolutely, positively, most definitely, I purchased this knife from laguiole.com and I communicated with a specific person whose name is in a ton of very bad reviews.

Trustpilot made me remove his name but he is absolutely positively from laguiole.com despite his lies and arguing.

If we and all these others who left negative reviews all had similar experiences receiving defective or incorrect knives and were then subject to a barrage of personal insults and accusations, all know your name, how did we not do business with you, specifically? You know exactly who you are.

I am enjoying watching you squirm now that you are being confronted by so many people you have ripped off. You created your own situation through repeated instances of negative customer experiences.

I have been buying Laguiole knives from laguiole.com for 15 years now. We give the knives as gifts to our employees who have been with us for 5 years. They come promptly, in beautiful packaging and are of the highest quality that Laguiole is known for. We have given over a dozen of these gifts and have never been disappointed.
