They were very respectful and listened carefully, but were also very clear with their advice. Neither pushy nor deferential, simply outstanding professionals in a well run professional company.

If you do use them and are allocated Mel Loxley, please ask for someone else.

Loxley represents my father in law in a divorce and has bled him dry. She continues to rack up enormous bills which he can't afford and has made him sign something which gives Knights first dibs on his divorce settlement which means he will end up with very little.

None of this would be my business except today Loxley wrote to a third party and made a series of false and defamatory allegations against me even thought I am not a party to proceedings. I'm aware that some lawyers use dirty tactics but this was a bit extreme. I will be following up Loxley's unprofessional conduct with her firm but quite frankly I am disgusted by her behaviour and it's not the first time she has pulled this sort of stunt.

Jeannie Anderson-Price from the Nottingham branch handled the conveyancing services relating to the sale of our property and the purchase of another. We found Jeannie very professional, and always on top of the game. She attended to our queries very promptly and clearly, and was always at the other end of the phone if we needed her. Jeannie guided us through the whole process very efficiently and we found her very easy to work with. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jeannie.

The team at Knights have been fantastic. They made the difficult experience of selling my late parents' house very straightforward. They were clear and professional from the start. I always felt informed and in control of the situation. When I didn't understand something they answered any queries quickly and with clarity. I can fully recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

A top class service from Knights for my Mum's house sale. Joanne Robinson, supported by Lucy McKenna, were brilliant from beginning to end - very responsive, understanding of our circumstances and proactive and thorough in their communications. The Knights fee was higher than other quotes I received but Joanne was open and transparent about this and took the time to explain why (namely that they take on limited cases so that they can provide a better service). She put me at ease from day one which is why I decided to appoint them. The exceptional service absolutely justified the premium, and I would strongly recommend Knights (specifically Joanne) to anyone selling a property.

I can't speak highly enough of the services provided by Knights, particularly by Lauren Rose and Linda Gregory, who handled my case with exceptional professionalism.

Previous experience with other property solicitors had been far from positive to say the least, but Lauren and Linda were brilliant throughout. They kept me up to date with all key priorities, the progress that was being made, and were always open and responsive to my questions, which as a first time buyer, was a huge help and put my mind at ease throughout the whole process.

I can't recomment Knights enough for anyone who is purchasing a property, and if you have the pleasure of working with Lauren and/or Linda, you're in for a treat.

From personal experience, I recommend you DO NOT instruct this firm. For me, it was ruthless, uncaring, error-prone, case-damaging, ignored instructions, rapidly blew my £25k budget, billed me circa double my budget, then threatened to sue me for its extortionate overcharging. It bills for every second, even for its own severely damaging errors. My opinion is to AVOID like the Plague!

Jamie and his assistant, Susie, were friendly, helpful and completely efficient in their dealings with us when we sold our house recently. We could not have wished for better solicitors.
