nano hair extensions lasted me 4 months and im now having to replace completely with another brand.
how is this acceptable?
how is this company still able to take peoples money and claim they are a luxury brand? its dry within WEEKS, shedding and thin within a month. i used all the right products, slept in a loose plait in a bonnet. only got my hair washed and styled by my hairdresser and for what. should be ashamed

The worst hair company every bought 24” hair in may and they went so thin and short in less than 6 weeks and I’ve not changed my products or anything to normal where I can get 9montha out of the hair and they refused to refund or send me new hair and tried to blame me for the reason they’ve snapped and broke but after seeing so may people having same issue I’ve gone to a diffent brand , hair kings customer service is shocking don’t even know how they are still in business I’m glad my hairdressers isn’t supplying them anymore

Very disappointed with these hair extensions. They have gone extremely short and did not last anywhere near their expected lifespan. For the price, I expected much better quality.
When I contacted customer service to raise my concerns, the response was poor and nothing was done to resolve the issue. Overall, not a good experience and I wouldn’t recommend.

Wouldn’t even give them one star. Just like everyone else is experiencing. Terrible hair. Hair snapping, tangling, brushing hair and it’s all covered on bristles. Spent a fortune on hair products to keep them extra good due to the price. Sleep with a silk hat on, silk pillow, professional products sulphate free. No sun exposure, no salt like their claiming.
Under the consumer act 2015 I should be entitled to a full refund just like everyone else. Citizens advise have advised my hairdresser to contact her bank if no issue will be done at their side requesting a refund under the section 75 claim (faulty goods)! Do not read the good reviews there is nothing good about this company.

I had Hair Kings fitted in June 2024 supplied by my hair dresser who was new to using them at the time. By the end of July 2024 I had lost so much hair from the extensions, every time I brushed them hair would constantly cover the bristles on my brush.
The colour change was horrendous, they'd just turn pink/orange. I use Colour Wow products, I use all the correct products and look after my hair/extensions so I must state this is nothing to do with user error by me.
We had to cut my hair allot shorter to take out how thin it looked at the bottom because of the shedding.
After being in touch with Hair Kings, because I didn't use 'their' products but used Colour Wow they wasn't prepared to do anything about it.
I ended up having these extensions replaced in October 2024.
Stupidly at the time, we thought we'd give the benefit of the doubt and order my new extensions with Hair Kings we just didn't know whether that first lot was a bad batch.
Anyway, yet again I was proved right that Hair Kings are the most shocking extensions on the market.
Its such a shame because I hear so many good reviews for Darker hair for these type of extensions but the Blonde extensions are just shockingly bad.
Please do not waste your money, please pay the bit extra and go elsewhere as I'm genuinely surprised these haven't been shut down yet.
Tangling is an issue, but colour looks amazing!
The hair itself seems to be a blend of real hair and synthetic. The colour I have shade #16 looks amazing, but there is certainly an issue with tangling. Nothing using hair straighteners doesn't solve though. It would be good if there was more info on the website about what the actual colour shades are, for instance (light golden blonde etc). I like the fact that tips are metal rather than silicone, as they're not bendy when trying to install. I've had my most recent ones for 6 months with no issues. I've taken good care of them and returned twice to my hairdressers for maintenance appointments. The colour hasn't changed at all in that time and still looks just as good.
Terrible quality hair extensions
Paid more money for hair kings extensions over other brands on the basis that my stylist advised they are better quality and longer lasting and never again! Hair is dry, tangling, snapping and has shed to the point they are ridiculously thin. I plait my hair loosely at night, wash with the recommended shampoo and conditioner, only use heat once a week yet three months in the hair is so thin that I’m having to replace a full head with a different brand. Completely unacceptable and I would not use these extensions again nor would I recommend

I wish I had listened to the warnings about Hair King before spending a staggering £500 on their hair extensions. After eagerly awaiting my appointment, I was devastated to discover that the batch my hairdresser received was of extremely poor quality. When I reached out to customer service for support, I was met with a lack of empathy and no willingness to make things right, instead of taking responsibility or offering a full refund they tried to offer me information on how to take care of my extensions. It's disheartening to invest so much in something that should enhance your beauty, only to be left feeling frustrated and disappointed. Save your money and avoid the headache—there are plenty of other reputable brands out there.
I had to get my hair extensions cut out as they were that bad, and honestly, it felt like a scene straight out of a dramatic reality show. I mean, what should have been a glamorous transformation turned into a tangled disaster. The moment I ran my fingers through my hair and met that rat's nest of knots, dread washed over me. It was as if these extensions had decided they were not just an accessory but a living entity determined to cling on for dear life. I visited the salon with a flicker of hope, only to sit in the chair, watching my stylist shake her head in disbelief. Snip after snip, the sound of scissors was oddly liberating; each cut felt like shedding a piece of bad decision-making. Finally, as my natural hair was freed from the synthetic nightmare, I couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of it all. Never again would I let something that claimed to enhance my beauty turn into such a chaotic mess. Lesson learned: sometimes, less really is more.
Dry, brittle, tangly, rubbish hair
Ive had the hair twice. First set after 3 months was knotty, shedding, dry looking and snapping when brushing with a balmain brush. I put it down to a bad batch. The 2nd lot stinks. Wasted so much money on masks, oils, salon masks and smoothing blow dry. Contacted them and yes id need send it off but after 2 weeks of wearing paying 90 for a fitment would need spend 45 removal. Postage be without hair and 90 to get put back in as you can bet they would say it was fine! Almost 600 this place has had off me and not even an offer to costs of anything. No sorrys nothing. Absolute shocking hair that stinks like a wet dog. I was looking for a suppler for all my clients. Glad ive tested it twice first. Customer service no better than the hair. If you going sell rubbish hair then sell it at low prices with a 3 month guarantee.
Terrible quality and poor customer service
I bought weft hair in a blonde shade, within two weeks the hair was climbing, knotting and snapping. Even running my fingers through a lot of hair would come away.
If I was unable to brush it every 10-20 minutes I would have to wear it in a loose braid to avoid serious knotting.
I’m an experienced hair extension user and I have used hair kings for nearly three years both through my hairdresser and myself, I have never had a problem like this.
I follow correct aftercare and minimal heat usage.
I sent my hair back for ‘testing’ however, apparently there is no fault with the hair.
I will receive no refund and I have paid to return the hair and now being charged to have hair which is not fit for purpose returned to myself again. I am out of pocket over £400.
I will never order again from this company, based on the lack of customer service and support.

Scammers, ordered for my client who was recommended this company , not one I’d ever used in over 10 yrs of fitting hair extensions,at fitting hair looked perfect, 1week later client returns with handfuls in a bag, the shedding was totally ridiculous, contacted company by email and phone provided details of aftercare products , which they couldn’t dispute was for use with hair extensions, was then told client must have used heat too close to bonds or she used oil, totally pathetic excuses in my opinion , they refused to resolve the issue when I told them I was going to raise bank dispute for payment they have now sent me an email saying my account has been disallowed , having run my business for 20 yrs I have never encountered such blatant disregard and bad service, in my opinion they are just taking youre money with no intention of being a reputable business that in my book is a scammer

If I could give 0 I would. SAVE YOUR MONEY, these extensions have been in for just over a month and they are vile. I have been an extension wearer for 3/4 years and decided to try a new brand of hair (hairkings) and they are awful. Constantly knotty and shed like crazy. I did complain but as it is out of the 30 days they won’t do anything (this was from the day the hair was ordered and my hair was put in around 2 weeks after the purchase date so I only had 14 days to raise and issue which in my opinion is not long enough for hair extension wear). Even though I have around 20 nano extensions which have not been used (washed, in my hair etc) so they can put the hair through testing as it is the WORST quality ever but they simply said no. Guys please don’t make the same mistake as me, I am gutted beyond words because I’ve spent money for them to feel like synthetic hair. I use top salon rated sulfate free hair care, use next to no heat on them and they are disgusting. They are simply awful and the customer service is poor, don’t claim they last over 9 months if you won’t accept any liability for hair that’s only been in my hair for just over 30 days. My previous hair brands have lasted me 12-14 months and I still could have got longer out of them so I am very aware on how to look after them and fully understand the maintenance and care they require. You simply cannot ‘care’ for these extensions as they are poor from the get go. Do your research, as I wish I did and now I am left with ratty feeling extensions.

To be honest if I could award no stars I would, I would really discourage anyone from using this brand. I had my hair in for 4 weeks and it was so unbelievably dry and knotty. I would brush it and 30 mins later I couldn’t get a brush through it. It was shedding uncontrollably and I felt like it became so thin and lifeless in this time. I contacted them multiple times and was ignored. Then weeks later received a generic reply. I had to send the hair back to be tested but was already made aware they would be faultless. They have tried to use anything to avoid taking any accountability that the hair is just rubbish quality. Ended up speaking to the manager Delayna who had absolutely no customer service skill and spoke to me incredibly rudely with no compassion or understanding. She was very hostile and made me feel uncomfortable talking to her. Wouldn’t even apologise. The company website has all this about customer service and the customers being priority but from my one experience can confirm this is absolutely false and they only care about money. I am so upset to have wasted £600 on hair to only last me a matter of weeks and hair kings couldn’t care less because they’ve been paid. Disgusting company avoid at all cost
