We sent our 1970's Kenwood Chef mixer to Kenwood Chef Restore. The white paintwork was scuffed and chipped and the motor had burnt out. We were not disappointed it was returned to us in lovely red paintwork to match our new kitchen. The motor had been replaced with a more powerful new one. The Mixer is now ABSOLUTELY STUNNING and is now a centre piece of our new kitchen.

From start to finish we received excellent service from Alex with regular email communications. There was some delay to the work due to problems with the paint company but we were kept informed AND given a discount on the cost of the renovation.

We took the opportunity to purchase new accessories for our rejuvenated mixer from the online shop and these were shipped free-of-charge with the mixer.

We can recommend Kenwood Chef Restore unreservedly and thanks to them now look forward to many more years of service from our mixer.

Everything about the service was first class from initial contact to returning my mixer in full working order. Alex's knowledge of all the various Kenwood models is extraordinary. Quite expensive but excellent job restoring old Kenwood to as new condition. Good range of accessories available too. Easy to deal with although they look busy.

I've used this company to source spare parts for my slightly 'tired' 1970's Kenwood Chef and my experience has been entirely positive.

I purchased their motor upgrade kit as part of the refurbishment of my machine and it is an exercise well worth doing, the machine is much quieter and has a lot more 'oomph' for heavier mixes.

Our family has been using KENWOOD mixers since the 1950's and as far as reliability and quality are concerned they are second to none. Recently having restored an early 1970's 701A I have consulted and used their Chef Restore team which came out tops. Not only did I receive excellent advice ( Alex thank you very much! ) and help, but their online store provided the parts and kits that I needed to repair my 40+ year old machine. It's tough to retire the old workhorse 701A, so I will certainly get a few more good years out of it. I am thrilled to have found this place. I was contemplating trying to repair my a901 myself as I couldn't find a local agent but it was oh so simple to follow instructions and send it off! It was back in a week going great. So much more satisfying than throwing away and buying a new one. Mind you I went for the upgrade and don';t know what to do with "Pulse" !
