I used to always go on karaoke party because i love singing and i love music but know every time i try and start playing it says that it wont work in my country/region. I even tried changing the location in my pc's settings but it still didn't work. This website is a lot of fun it's not really accurate when you sing and some songs need to be bought which is annoying because well.. PARENTS THESE DAYS BE LIKE NO! Lol! But over all its fun.. IF I COULD ACTUALLY PLAY IT WITHOUT IT SAYING "IT'S NOT AVAILABLE IN MY COUNTRY/REGION" EVERY TIME I TRY AND PLAY... sorry I raged a little bit....lol :P

"Send me an request when I can register" Is the prompt I keep getting. They site mods have not addressed this issue. sensitive credit card information is on the site and I can't even log on. I would love to pay and enjoy Kareokeparty again but the site has had this glitch for months.

Karaokeparty is a site to have fun nothing more. This site doesn't provide singing lessons. Half of the songs are blocked and won't let you sing them unless you pay money. Want to record more than 3 songs? Well that's too bad. Yep you guessed it: You have to pay money to record more than 3 songs. Let's talk about the acapella karaoke vocals provided in the songs.
They're not the real songs. The lyrics are usually wrong on a lot of the songs. Some of the songs won't even let you sing them because they're "not available in your territory."

For those who don't know this is a karaoke program that gives you a score based off of how closely your pitch is to the guide. It seemed like a good learning experience but unless you have a certain kind of mic (which is??), sing a bit like a robot and like to improvise at all, it's kind of a ridged way to learn anyhow. it doesn't allow for any kind of deviations on the same musical scale which is not fun.

I decided to test this out with my trusty audiobox 22VSL and SHURE SM58 microphone.

It was insulting. I sing all the time, gotten lessons. it's the thing i enjoy most, and you don't stay terrible at something you work at and love. I practice all the time and regularly take on feedback from friends and family. But my end score is always only just above 5000 on karaoke party (out of 10,000) with a rating of 'Wannabe'. Well for anyone who is actually a wannabe that's pretty insulting and a great way to turn people away. Last time i had this kind of problem it was on rocksmith which was easily fixed by calibrating my guitar, no such feature on this site.
I tried quite a few songs and for my own interest did a test where i held long and easy notes and some how the site picked up some weird frequency or something - I dunno - and i made it seem as though i had gone ridiculously far off key. The recording itself sounds fine though, albeit a little off sync because of a delay.

I went to post the issue on the site but found that only premium members could post. Well that's not encouraging, but i can live with that... but why the f- would i spend money on something that doesn't appear to have worked correctly?

Stay away... if you want to have fun singing, look up karaoke on youtube, if you want to learn, look up lessons and see and instructor like i did. Especially if you're a beginner, or else prepare to have no fun, feel bad about yourself and lose your motivation to sing.

And Karaokeparty, look at rocksmith for a guide on how to treat people who decide to use your product.

Karaokeparty is really good and most of the songs only requires that you sign in (without paying). The only "bad" thing is that some of the songs, which requires payment, are visable. It kind of annoys me, but is still only a small detail. :)

The site provides you to sing and rate how well you do that. It does this good most of the time, but some times it just misses it.
The premium feature is rubbish and isn't worth paying for.

Their support is horrible. They never reply to my tickets even if I am a premium member. I would expect more from them!
