A very unhappy Parent was supposed to watch my child Graduate on virtual live off YouTube...I feel like you didn't care enough to make sure it worked properly, you not carrying i missed my daughter graduation...Come to find out so did alot of other parents 😢 💔 😞 Shame on you

Staff was very kind but couldn’t answer my question.

NMDCA Staff Mrs.Paterson, Luke Martz, Mrs.Cook they all have been so wonderful and very helpful they really care for the children's choice and feelings... Mrs.Cook & Mrs.Paterson have also been so helpful with me as well they're wonderful!!! In my Opinion is a Great School for your Kids!!!

It was good at first and then they changed platforms. We could not get on. Kids were always having trouble with it. Kids started failing and falling behind. We would email teachers & did not get a response back from them.

It’s an amazing school program! Our kids love it! They’re doing so well and there is so many opportunities for them. The teachers/counselors/staff are so helpful and make sure that your child is set up to succeed.

The daily interactions with teachers and students. The notices of assignments due. The availability the teachers have for students when they need help.

The teachers are great and help in any way they can, the office has always answered all my questions and been very polite.

Honestly, it's been a mess the last several years. The system has changed every year. We've been here even in canvas search teacher is linking to outside programs and dites and doing all kinds of stuff differently. That's really hard to explain to an autistic kid who's not there in person.

The flex program has been an absolute nightmare. No one ever knows what's going on or who's doing what or where we're supposed to be or how it's supposed to work. It's infuriating. And another thing is they are constantly sending emails about things that are going to happen. I'm probably with all other parents here that sending us when we can actually access. What you're asking us to do would be the most vital. For instance, today we're sent an email to go check our kids scores on the state site, but they're not there yet. Nowhere in the email did it say these may take a while to appear. It says go check them.

Part of being in a virtual environment and being successful is having clear direction that has not been provided. The elective options are really lacking. There's no extracurriculars for the children. Honestly, after all the drama with rise last year, you would think that you guys would adopt some similar policies since that's what your students need.

Just an overall experience of having my son be a flex student and gaining all the knowledge he will use in his future.

This has been 1 of many great decisions that I made for my children ! My oldest graduated with a 4.0 last year and now preparing for a 2027 graduation ! NMDCA AND TEACHERS ARE TRULY AMAZING!

I love the free material and lent laptop. The teachers are great communicating most of the time. I would appreciate if the staff emphasized how important communication is with learning coaches in order to keep our students on track. I like the new dash board and how I can keep track of my students’ grades. Although I do feel the system can be simplified a bit more. Trainings for teachers to use canvas efficiently would be very helpful also.

The educators and staff are helpful and friendly. My child has a safe place to learn bcz of dcanm

Friendly staff are always willing to go above and beyond for their families. Keeping in contact with families is the number one key in my book.

This is the best learning environment for my child. My child learn more in one year than they did two years in their former physical school.

I'm very happy with this school. The teachers truly care about the students and create a positive learning environment. They also provide great opportunities for both academic and personal growth.

We love destinations career academy my daughter has come along way we were sad about the bill but happy that she will be hopefully graduating year 2027 thank u my daughter is learning a lot more with online we appreciate you that Estrella could have a chance to graduate she was getting bullied in high school thank you destination career academy
