Absolutely the single WORST experience anyone could ever ask for in a construction/contractor company!!!! PERIOD!
*If you are looking for a horrible "salesperson" called Siv who is a habitual liar, uses unethical business practices and makes excuses after excuses, then hire JRD Construction.
*If you are looking for a foreman named Ronnie who lies and "strong arms" you and your wife into getting hot mop done in a shower and install the bench afterwards which breaks the seal and is totally against code to take short cuts, then hire JRD Construction.
*If you are looking for an owner named Shy who, after 2 personal phone calls BEGGING, BEGGING, BEGGING for help to NOT deal with his lying "salesperson" Siv and want the owner to NEVER call you back (He called back ONLY after a 4 page letter was sent to his office months later!), then hire JRD Construction.
*If you want to have unnecessary holes in your walls, paint on your floors, shoddy electrical and finish material workmanship, filth in your front yard, spilled grout and mortar on your driveway, damaged walls, redo work every day, half painted doors, incorrect tile installation, weeks of delays due to zero communication and oversight, then hire JRD Construction.
*If you want 1-2 people showing up to demo 2 bathrooms after Siv told us it would be 4-5 people causing ongoing delays, then hire JRD Construction.
*If you want to use Google Translate EVERYDAY and virtually become your own GC to oversee your project because NO ONE speaks English who shows up at your house, then hire JRD Construction.
*If you want to be "tricked" into thinking Siv is telling you that everything that will happen the way he says and talks you into a 3D Rendering beforehand that isn't really part of the agreement and lies right to your face, then hire JRD Construction.
*If you want tons of trash in your driveway from the demo of 2 bathrooms on top of brown construction paper for a week instead of a tote in the driveway to hold the trash which was promised by Siv, then hire JRD Construction.
*If you want changes during the construction process which were promised to you face to face at no charge (Yes, SIV AND RONNIE AGAIN!!) to only change their minds later and unjustly charge THOUSANDS of dollars for them, then hire JRD Construction.
*If you want a company who says they will pick up the materials from your vendors during the construction process then change their minds afterwards costing you hundreds of dollars (Yes, SIV AND RONNIE AGAIN!!), then hire JRD Construction.
*If you want a useless person called Jose who comes to your house, takes pictures, spends time with you reviewing all the things that need to be redone and fixed, laying out next steps, etc. then does NOTHING with that information to only have YOU be the one to orchestrate the construction crew everyday with Google Translate, then hire JRD Construction.
*If you want your main contact (YES - SIV AGAIN!!) telling you that "We should expect incorrectly hung shelves, paint on brand new tile, unnecessary holes in our walls, unfinished electrical outlets installed, door handles installed upside down, etc. because, “You should expect to have these mishaps because you have a high end, very difficult bathroom with a floating vanity”, then hire JRD Construction.
*If you want complete aggravation, deceit, lies, filth everywhere every day, strain on your relationship with your spouse because this situation was so bad for so long with ZERO help from anyone, then feel free to do yourself and your family a complete injustice and hire JRD Construction.
Clearly, the owner, Shy, doesn't care about the customer or he would've called be back when I was BEGGING for help 2 times!! I spoke with Christine and she assured me she would get him the messages - absolutely zero excuse for not caring about a situation as desperate as this.
