After buying a Van from them last year for 20k now trying to sale it myself after finding out the Van is after the mileage is after being tampered with not once but twice so a bad experience avoid avoid do a history check on anything you buy family button up reviews good ones
Jjcars offers reasonable prices and a fair selection of vehicles. However, there were a few delays and some confusion during the paperwork process. Not terrible, but not perfect either.
I had a very disappointing experience with this dealer. I was told that the car had a full service done, including oil and filter changes, but after checking, none of that was actually done. I was also told that the 4x4 system was fully working, but it does not work at all.
The car was sold with a 3-month warranty, and the vehicle is still within that warranty period. Unfortunately, now that these problems have appeared, the dealer is no longer answering my calls or responding to my attempts to contact him.
I feel completely misled and disappointed by the lack of honesty and after-sales support. I would not recommend buying a car from this dealer.
JJCA are complete crooks, they sold me a car that the springs where falling apart with rust, questionable how they managed to get it t... more
After undertaking a journey of over 300 miles to purchase a vehicle upon mutual agreement, I anticipated a smooth transaction with no subsequent return arrangements beyond driving the car back home. Regrettably, the vehicle was parked partially on a verge, against metal railings, and was filthy inside. There appeared to be no prior effort to prepare the vehicle for my inspection, which was quite disappointing.
I located the proprietor after navigating through a yard scattered with damaged vehicles and car parts strewn across the ground, presenting numerous on-site hazards. Entering his office, I was met with an unprofessional environment reminiscent of a 1990s drug den, with three individuals laid on sofas playing games on their phones, and 'the don' sat at the main desk. The setting was dimly lit, with smoke-filled air and broken windows, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere.
I was advised that the keys were in the vehicle and was told to take a quick look. I managed to examine approximately three-quarters of the vehicle’s exterior before 'JJ' called me via phone, asking whether I was planning to proceed with the purchase. He then informed me he had an appointment requiring his urgent attention and that I needed to make a decision immediately—an antecedent that had not been communicated previously, despite my intended arrival having been scheduled over a week earlier. After only ten minutes of inspection following a seven-hour journey, I pointed out several faults that would need rectifying before I could consider driving the vehicle away. He agreed these issues would be addressed prior to my departure.
Having handed over the payment, his behaviour suddenly changed, becoming confrontational, unhelpful, and dismissive. He adopted an aggressive stance, and, whilst staring at me with unnaturally white turkey teeth, his staff members began making derisive remarks about the items I had brought with me. Despite normally being self confident, I felt highly uncomfortable, backed into a corner and felt no choice but to complete the purchase.
At this point, I requested the V5C documentation; I was then told that the vehicle did not possess one and that I would need to apply for it myself. I also asked for a receipt; this was hastily written on a torn scrap of paper from a ring-bound notebook. The details were incorrect—such as the registration number and date—and the incorrectly stated price was oddly indicated in dollars ('$').
I was practically pushed out of the premises, as it seemed all four staff members were required to attend the surprise appointment. The vehicle was left in a poor state, requiring a tyre inflation (one tyre down to 6psi) and under bonnet fluid top-ups, without any time for a road test. I regret not walking away from such a lamentable establishment. I highlighted the issues that needed attention prior to vehicle handover, but as soon as i handed over the money, i was curtly told, "you can sort that, its your car now"
Various promises regarding the vehicle’s condition were made over the phone but subsequently unfulfilled, and outright falsehoods were conveyed to secure the sale. I was transparent and honest throughout, arriving on time and paying the agreed over the phone amount. In summary, the individual appears to be dishonest, lacking integrity, and willing to say anything to finalise a sale. Post-sale support is non-existent, and instead, any contact is met with rudeness. I am left questioning whether this individual even owns a dog called Pluto, as this entire experience is undoubtedly the most mickey mouse 'business' conduct I have ever encountered.
I strongly advise caution and suggest steering clear of this establishment under all circumstances.
Jamie and the crew were fantastic from the very first phone call. Paperwork for the car and trade-in was seemless and the car delivered 80km as part of the online deal. The team that delivered the car should work in Hospitality ! Thorough walk through every feature of the car.
The car was advertised as Immaculate and 5 weeks later, its running like a dream. Cant say any more JJCA
I would be very cautious dealing here, several details about the car I viewed were inaccurate on DoneDeal and the company website (including NCT expiry and total number of owners), watch out for deposits even if not agreed they will say it was non-refundable when that was never agreed, also note that many of the Google reviews appear repetitive or AI-generated
I contacted them 1 day after I bought the car after a tried filling up the fuel but the lid wouldn’t open. He couldn’t have been more unhelpful, there are other issues with the key and air con that I mentioned also and his response was “there’s no warranty”. While I understand this completely they would be more than capable to help a young lad out, nasty people will get no luck for it.
bought a 2016 transit custom may 2023 after 1 day power steering pipe leaked . told me to get it fixed at a local garage and he would sort it . would not sort it and said i should have contacted the warranty company.
the warranty company only cover you after 40 days after purchase. just be aware of his warranty
Worst garage in Ireland jamie is the biggest lier my sion paid 8000 cash for car had it a month started giving trouble first oil change light came up so got oil change and mechanic found a big huge oil leak and a lot of other things which he rang jamie to explain so he know exactly what was wrong a lot of work to fix it sure jamie promised yeah ill fix it im over 3 hours away so first said I could get it fixed here and he would pay load of lies can he knew it would cost 3 much sure he wouldn't have paid it anyway then said could I get car to him when it keeps breaking down and he said to have a look at it and then i asked to meet me halfway just stooped answering the phone then or any messages he's the biggest scumbag doing this to a teenager and not the first time by look of all the review just please don't buy a car from this garage hopefully karma will cat h up with him soon
absalute scum bags bought a car from jamie 2 weeks after the car started giving trouble wouldnt answer the phone. when he did he told me to bring car to another garage and have it fixed and send him the bill . did that got car fixed costing 550 euros .then was told by jamie he wasnt paying the bill that because it went to another garage the warranty was void. and wouldnt pay . then the issue with log book he told me that it was all done on line and i would have it soon . after a few weeks still no log book . called him and he told me he forgot to do it and that he sent the log book to shannon directly that it would be quicker . shannon never got the log book . so i still have no log book and cant tax the car. further investigation turns out the car was traded into a garage on a scrappage scheme and should not be on the road as it was declaired scrap. noe he not answering my calls . got a friend to call and he answered straight away . was told we wanted our money back and we were returning the car and we were told hes not taking it back and if we came over he would drive his jeep over us . hes a scum bag and nothing else . do not deal with these people or you will loose your money

JJCA Motors is the worst car garage in Ireland no doubt by a mile. Bunch of con men and gangsters. No regard for the customer. I bought my car off them a week later it broke down and the dirty scumbags wouldn’t even pay for recovery, give me back my deposit as I only had the car a week and cancel the finance. They are absolute disgrace to car dealerships. Absolute scum of the earth and scum is what they are. They think they can get away with what they do but they will be soon gone.
Absolutely horrible Experience DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP JJCA motors, complete fraudsters never answer the phone no direct line to the boss Jamie purchased a car not serviced engine light on leaking oil the list goes on timing belt half done was told it was HIGH SPEC the cheapest of dirt you’d put in a car Supposedly just past NCT with the list of problems I’ve had to deal with now leading to almost 2 thousand Euro on having the car mechanically worthy! save yourself and find a genuine honest salesman these are not the boys complete fraudsters. 🚨🚨Was guaranteed 6 MONTHS WARRANTY not worth anything MASSIVE WARNING ⚠️
Just purchased a 2017 transit custom from JJCA”s . Jamie was very helpful and went over and above my expectations everything went very smoothly and did everything I asked for so just a couple of issues has arisen since I purchased van 1. Leak in the power steering and .2. Parking sensor malfunction so I contacted the garage and they did reply and said they would sort the issues after Christmas The van is a 2017 so I kinda expect a few minor issues will come up taking all into consideration Jamie was helpful and patient and I trust he will honour the warranty so watch this space merry christmas to the boys at JJCA
Bought a car from jj car sales and within 7 weeks and 1000 miles the clutch and clutch flywheel packed in costing nearly £1000 Garage will not honour the warranty but even worse than that will not even respond to telephone calls, emails or letters. I have been buying cars for over 30 years and this is the worst garage I have ever dealt with. The garage tried to say it was the way it has been driven wow however have black box data all at 100% so not the case,USE AT YOUR PERIL
I part exchanged my car (£5250) and added £500 cash, as soon as we got the car home in the following days we experienced problems.
2 bald tyres, boot locked, massive water leak onto foot pedals, no spare key, no jack, no service.
I travelled back to the garage to get the problems looked at with my 2 small children and were told the car was only booked in for one issue, not all the things discussed, so it was a wasted 70 miles round trip)
We were sent to a pub the owner owned on 2 occasions to collect the spare key and jack, nothing was there.
We have booked to get the car fixed tomorrow, but faults keep coming, electric windows, fan, back doors no opening ( unsafe)
We have asked the garage for our car back but they won't as they have sold this at a premium price.
They have offered to fix problems but will not put in writing so have been advised legally not to do the work, I have offered to take another car or get the cash back but they will not accept.
We are now taking the car back under the legal right to cancel but the garage have threatened us with this taking over 6 month and having to go through court, this will mean I have no vehicle with two children under three to take out and about.
All in all this has been a horrible experience, all I want is a safe car to carry my children around in. I will post this information everywhere possible to warn people of this company, facebook, twitter etc.
