I nipped into the store as I’m looking to upgrade my camera and I was a bit unsure if I wanted to go ahead and purchase a mirrorless camera and I met a lovely lady called Jo and the service she offered was superb. She really went in to great detail of why it was better option. She even let have a look of the equipment that I wanted to be sure that is what I wanted. Her knowledge and her kindness was absolutely wonderful. She talked me through the steps of how to go on purchasing and trading my old camera in. Honestly 10/10 service. Will be going back and making that purchase

Lens arrived quickly with no problems. Unfortunately had to use returns process (due to my error) which also worked surprisingly well. Would use Jessops again.

Nice camera trade-in experience because of helpful and professional service
My recent entailed trading my existing camera with a newer offering from Canon. I was visiting the Meadowhall branch from another city. While they did not have the camera I wanted in stock, the staff made sure it was brought to the branch within a day. Their communication was excellent and to the point. The actual trade-in experience was also nice, though I had expected a bit more for my gear. I was not kept waiting. We went through the whold process including the balancing payment in a frictionless manner. I am happy with my new camera.

Great customer service
I called the store a few times, then made 2 visits to but a camera then a lens. The help and support I got was excellent. Very patient and friendly staff. I also traded in 2 items and got decent prices.

Greeted well, product explained well. I was allowed to adjust it and do some trials with it. Check out smooth and quick. Initial feedback from Jessops shows Shrewsbury team are pleased with this. I'm glad about that, but I actually shopped at Sheffield Meadowhall!

Popped in to see what there was for…
Popped in to see what there was for upgrading my eisting DSLR camera. Explain to the shop person I was thinking of upgrading within the next years but I was out of date as to what is available. He was very good at explaining what has happened since I last bought a camera from them, pro's and cons of the different Canon cameras etc. His final words were think about it and come back when you're ready. NO hard sell or pushing to sell. Good honest customer care so I finished up buying a new camera there and then

Bad experience selling equipment to…
Bad experience selling equipment to this company. Items delivered to the shop in Meadowhall, Sheffield, checked by two members of the staff and graded as excellent. Initial price given for both camera and lens separately and sent to their main office for final approval and payment.
Got a message saying lens has a problem and they won’t take it. So I asked for it to be delivered to the same shop for collection. On collection lens appeared damaged , something rattling around inside which was mentioned to same member staff who praised it initially as excellent condition but he wasn’t interested!!
If you have used equipment, esp high quality, don’t use these guys. They don’t look after your equipment whilst in their possession and won’t give you best part-exchange either.
Payment for camera body also took a long time to be processed. Avoid avoid avoid.

We can see that the camera body was accepted and you received payment within 5 working days following the agreement which is standard practice.
Regarding the lens, this item was returned a month ago and was delivered to your address as we do not send trade-in items back via store collections however if our records are incorrect or we're missing something please feel free to reach out on cs@jessops.com and we'll be more than happy to take a further look into the situation for you.

They had just the right camera
Had a brilliant experience at Jessops. I was not sure if I wanted a new Sony lens or a Fuji camera. I was asked what it was that I was looking for, as a prime lens photographer I wanted to try a lens with various focal lengths, just something I can slip into my pocket on trips out. They guy there recommended the Canon eos R50. It was just what I was looking for, and it had a lens viewer. It was the camera I always wanted, but never thought was made. I got the camera that was right for me, and right for just about everyone. Thank you guys.
