Bot protection is nonexistent. Get an alert to say something is back in stock, go to site and add it to basket, website starts crashing and giving errors, have to log in EVERY TIME as it logs you out... Mehr ansehen

I am absolutely appalled by the service…

I am absolutely appalled by the service I’ve received from JD Williams.

My fridge freezer has been faulty for nearly three weeks now, and despite repeatedly contacting customer services, the issue still hasn’t been resolved. Being without a properly working fridge freezer isn’t a minor inconvenience—it’s an essential household appliance that I’ve been paying for but haven’t been able to use as intended.

The customer service has been just as disappointing as the product. I’ve been passed from one person to another, given no sense of urgency, and left chasing for updates instead of being offered a proper solution. It feels like once they’ve taken your money, they have very little interest in actually helping when something goes wrong.

Waiting nearly three weeks for a resolution is completely unacceptable. I’ve had the stress of wasted food, the inconvenience of not being able to store groceries properly, and the frustration of constantly having to follow up myself.

I would not recommend JD Williams based on this experience. If you’re considering buying an expensive appliance from them, I’d think twice. When things go wrong, don’t expect efficient customer service or a quick resolution. Extremely disappointing from start to finish.

I'm now buying one from another retail as irecuse to give this company money.

Sloggi Romance Two Pack…expect one!

I have been a customer for a very long time. Ordered a two pack of premium briefs, only one arrived. Customer Services offered a 50% refund which I refused and said I just wanted a second pair. Agreed to return and agent reordered. Second parcel arrived and again, only one pair! It actually states one pair on the box. No choice in the matter, automatic 50% discount applied so stuck with just one pair. Clearly a packaging issue but lack of understanding/combined with poor comprehension of English means I have given up trying, will again return the one pair and buy elsewhere.

Ignored Evidence, Contradictory Responses & No Manager Callback

I have never experienced such a frustrating and poorly handled complaints process.

What started as a cancelled order has turned into weeks of receiving contradictory explanations and generic responses.

Throughout my complaint, I have been told:

* My card was declined.
* The item was out of stock.
* No payment was ever requested from my bank.
* A release code was sent to my bank.
* Then I was told yet again that my card was declined.

These explanations simply do not add up.

I contacted my bank, who confirmed there was no issue with my card, and I provided JD Williams with both proof of payment and my bank statement as evidence. Despite this, they continue to ignore the evidence I have submitted and simply repeat that my card was declined, without explaining the obvious contradiction.

I have repeatedly requested a callback from a senior manager, but instead I continue to receive what appear to be copy-and-paste template emails that fail to answer my questions or address the evidence I have provided. It genuinely feels as though nobody is properly investigating my complaint.

This is no longer about a cancelled order. It is about poor customer service, a failure to properly investigate a complaint, contradictory information from multiple advisers, and a complete lack of accountability.

Based on my experience so far, I fully expect JD Williams to respond to this review with another generic template apology rather than addressing the evidence, answering my questions, or arranging the manager callback I have repeatedly requested.

Time wasting!

Quick update - 2 weeks later I am still waiting for a manager callback - several replies state within 48 hours a manager will get in touch.

I have had multiple fraudulent accounts…

I have had multiple fraudulent accounts opened via JD WiIliams brands. This demonstrates their security procedures are sub-par, and have not been fixed over the last 4 months.

I'd advise strongly against purchasing from any of the JD Williams businesses.

Failed to fulfill my order fully but…

Failed to fulfill my order fully but didn't tell me this until 2 days after they'd dispatched it. If i'd known I'd have cancelled the order but they gave me no chance to.

I've said I want to return my incomplete order due to their failure to fulfill our contract and be refunded for the item and my delivery fee but they said no which is in breach of my consumer rights. I will be raising a chargeback with my bank.

I had problems signing in

I had problems signing in, I contacted JD Willliams, who explained I had contacted them during covid to explain I had lost my business due to covid. I paid off my debt. I was told my account would be reactivated. Just tried to access it, surprise surprise its not working. Why say something and do nothing

Just stay from this company

Just stay from this company. If I can give 0 i would do it.

They charged me on check out more than is total of my order.
They charged me for delivery although is free to parcel shop.
They do not read e-mail and reply only with everything written in their terms.
Lost me precious time, will never buy from them again, my account is now closed!

So what I’m gonna say is I do not trust…

So what I’m gonna say is I do not trust JD Williams I wouldn’t ever buy anything from them again. I owed a little bit of money. I was trying to pay it off. I get paid on a certain date. They wouldn’t take it on the certain date, but take it out whenever they feel like it and then because I’ve got myself in a situation where I had to pay this back was trying to sort it out with JD Williams and they’ve sold my debt onto another agency. Let me just say something JD Williams. I won’t be paying nothing towards you or paying anything to the people that you sold the debt on. I’m absolutely disgusted and I don’t think JD Williams should be a selling company. Trust me when I say this do not buy anything from them do not get yourself into a situation that I did because it’s not worth it I will not be paying nothing towards anyone for you to sell my debt onto someone else for them to call me and demand that I pay in full is an absolute joke. I’ve never been so disgusted in my life that I am now.

Order not fulfilled

Placed an order for a fan for a babies room, could have ordered it from multiple sites but chose this one due to it having the soonest predicted delivery.
Order was cancelled with no communication, only found out because I chased the order. Was still getting notifications from courier that they were expecting the order and pending payment was still showing.

Spoke to a team member and they informed me that they didn’t have stock to deliver the item, in which case they should never have accepted the order because I would have just ordered elsewhere. Now item is out of stock completely from all other retailers and we’re now in a heatwave.
