Jared Jewelry- Hulen Mall in Fort Worth

I just recently went to Jared Jewelry at the Hulen Mall in Fort Worth, Texas. Elizabeth rhodiumed and polished almost every piece of jewelry I own. Which was a lot to do and she did not disappoint!
I would like to mention that Elizabeth Set a 3 Carat Oval Diamond a few months back. The way she set my diamond it really stands out and POPS right in your face! I know she put her heart in this because she came out from her work area to deliver my band to me and because of her meticulous attention to detail my diamond showcases so well!!!👌
Elizabeth in the Jewelry Repair Department is absolutely Fantastic! All of my jewelry is shinning, blinging, sparkling and looking brand new again!✨️

Customer service does not exist with…

Customer service does not exist with the call center. They talk down to you even if you have paid off your loan on time. Will not make any future and or refer anyone to purchase from this company. If I saw the reviews, I would have gone somewhere else.

I bought a 14k tri gold rope bracelet…

I bought a 14k tri gold rope bracelet on December 14th for a Christmas gift. At the end of January early February the bracelet fell apart, one gold strand just dangling from the rope bracelet on my adult son. I called into customer service and was told I could not return or replace it because it was outside the 30 days by only a week or two!!! They offered for me to drive it more than 55 miles each way from my home and pay 250.00 to repair it. I couldn’t do that. So I took it across the street from my home to a jeweler who charged me 60.00 and did his best but he said the bracelet was defective. One week after the repair the same gold strand fell out. What a waste of 700.00 for a bracelet owned since this past Christmas with a company that doesn’t stand behind their products. Saddling customers with a defective piece and expenses! Just outrageous.

Bad Customer service and warranty guarantee

My husband purchased a ring for $3,000.00 for me in 2021, with warranty. I know what the warranty says as far as the diamonds go, but I never took it in for inspection until now, when I noticed that I was missing diamonds. I took it in the store and they told me that I have 6 diamonds missing, I never thought that a ring for $3,000.00 would lose diamonds. But none the less I have to pay for the diamonds, which is crazy too me. I will never buy anything else from them.

Supports Financially Dishonest and Malicious Credit Card Practices

This company supports financially dishonest and malicious credit card practices. I utilized their Credit Card for a promotional period for a wedding ring. I paid well above the amount necessary to pay off the credit card two months in advance. Prior to the card being paid off I utilized their credit card again to get wedding bands. Come to find out that the payments were split between the "promotions" causing my original purchase not to meet the promotional deadline and incurring a huge accrued interest expense for the entire wedding ring purchase. I was not notified of this and there is no option to help you target a promotional amount online. I was told when I called on the phone that this is just the way it is and there is no way to target that promotional balance. The extra $600 dollar expense added to our wedding costs that would be much preferred elsewhere. I will never go to a Jared for a jewelry purchase ever again. I hope that I can stop at least one person from utilizing Jared given they support such predatory credit card practices.

Customer service? What’s that?

Still currently standing in the the store…..I have been here 45 minutes have not been greeted, told I’ll be with you in a moment and not even a friendly hello. JARED if we are spending thousands the least the very least you could do is have decent customer service. I feel duped buying anything from here. Also stay away they do not honor there insurance. I have had to many problems with this place to even write. Back to Zales for this lady.

I didn’t even have my rings for a whole…

I didn’t even have my rings for a whole month and a stone fell out I took it to Kay’s because they told me I could go there for repairs and inspections and cleaning now they have had my ring for three weeks now and they claim it just came back today and the stone is still missing and need to send it back!!!!! I am so very disappointed with this whole situation I will never shop at Jared or Kay’s ever again honestly I want my money back

Inquired about a trade up on a previous…

Inquired about a trade up on a previous purchase and was told even if the item was on sale at that moment the trade had to be based on inflated regular price. So I reached out to the company and was told to look at trade in process online, which I had already done. I requested a link to the detailed policy and stipulations of the process. They refused and told me that the store was correct. I once again requested to have made available to me the detailed policy in writing not just a sales person telling me what they have been told to relay. The company flat out refused my request to review the full written policy and stipulations. Sounds like a good thing for a fraudulent class action law suit. Something is definitely not on the honest side if they hide the fine print when you are point blank asked to view it. Was refused information in writing only received that sales associate could assist you at a location and offered the website of generic description of the process which does not include fine print. I have a hard time believing that a national chain does not have one and will refuse to disclose a print copy.

Great experience on quality watches

I'm honestly confused reading all of these 1-star reviews because my experience has been exceptional so far.

I had never been to a Jared's in person, nor had I purchased anything online until recently. However, while searching for Citizen Tsuyosa Men's Automatic watch, I noticed it was $100 cheaper than everywhere else, plus I got $25 off my first purchase. Not only that, it was the latest model (NJ0151-53M), not the old model (NJ0151-88M) being sold on places like Amazon. Also, I looked at the reputation of some of the sellers on Amazon and they didn't really scream trustworthy. I got my watch from Jared and it's beautiful.

My next purchase was a Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 Men's Automatic Watch. This was initially priced the same as every other place at $725. I was going to hold off on this purchase for a few months, however, I suddenly got an email with a major discount so I went ahead and ordered. There are some nice perks to being a vault member.

Also, as an added bonus, I was able to apply Honey Gold (from Paypal) to redeem gold.

Cheap looking stone and setting

Cheap looking stone and setting, made in china. Says 14k gold but gold wore offer hooks. Store refuses to return. Beware of a store that won’t stand by their own product enough to offer full refunds.

I was at the store in Douglas villa I was getting jewelry when I lost my necklace in there they didn't care they showed no interest in helping me they found the pendant but say they didn't see the necklace I will pay them off and close the account as soon as possible bad business I will not do business with them anymore 🤨🤨

The Lost Order 10001002629808

Ordered an anniversary ring for wife’s 33rd year on Dec 18th. A month in advance thinking I’d have plenty of time to get it and everything would go smoothly! Boy was I wrong. It’s now the 11th, 3 days before anniversary and ring is still in fulfillment, can’t get a real person to talk too most of the time, and when I do they just tell me the case was sent to Their Commerce Dept a day ago and they would be in touch; which they haven’t. Not by email, not by text, not by phone call. I definitely would not recommend trying to buy something important if you need it on pacific dates or times. Worst jewelry experience I’ve ever had

LIVID, DISGUSTED, ANGRY.

We ordered my wedding ring, it came with a broken sapphire, we drive 2 and a half hours one way to have it fixed. They didn't have my appt booked and the guy that was supposed to help me called in. Then they said my ring couldn't be repaired it had to be recorded which we could have done from home. The new ring comes and guess what. It's also broken and the wrong size. It has a cute little tag that says made in India. I called them and they said they aren't making that ring anymore, but it is still being advertised as available for purchase online. I'm so disgusted they RUINED my Christmas proposal and 2 months of my engagement. I am contacting the better business bureau first thing tomorrow morning.

Go any place else!!!!

I have been a customer with Jareds since 2010-11. Recently, I attempted to make a purchase online (item not available in stores), but had trouble with the website. The item would show available, then when I would try to purchase, the system would freeze up. Eventually, the item would show out of stock, yet I was not able to submit the suggested "contact me when available." I contacted Jared online several times with no resolution. On yesterday, the item looked available again, yet I still was not able to purchase online. when I contact CSR on today, no help again; they sent me to Kay and offered everything but what I wanted. The agent refused to honor the price although she saw that I had been trying to purchase since 12/9. I do not recommend Jareds to the consumer who values customer service and being a returning customer. You're not valued as a customer with Jareds, go somewhere else!!!

Lost diamond - warranty scam

My husband and I bought three rings at three different locations (3 different states) because we travel for work every 4-6 months. With each purchase we bought the unlimited extended warranty to ensure that our diamonds and rings would always be covered. In July 2023 a diamond fell out of my husbands wedding band (4 months after the original purchase and only 2 months after he began wearing his wedding band). Because we were not in an area with a Jared, we waited until November when we would be back where I originally purchased the ring. However, we were informed when we brought it in for repair that because we hadn’t done a 6 month inspection the lost diamond and repair would not be covered and would be 100% our responsibility. Yet at three different locations in three different states not one sales associate informed us about the required 6 month inspections. After waiting for over an hour and a half to speak with customer service, we were told the warranty info was in our email from the date of purchase. However, neither my husband nor I received ANY email about our purchases or warranties. The only emails either of us have are advertisements for Jared jewelry. The customer service associate was zero help so I asked for a supervisor, who didn’t call back until the next day only to argue the same as the customer service associate, saying that we are responsible even though neither of us were aware of the 6 month inspection policy. Again, NOT ONE of the sales associates mentioned this policy, in fact they sold us this extended warranty protection plan by telling us any damage or lost diamond would be 100% covered by Jared. The supervisor’s idea of resolving this is to have me take the ring in for a repair appraisal and then they would “see” if they could do anything for us at that point but they couldn’t guarantee anything.

I bought a tri color gold twist…

I bought a tri color gold twist bracelet at Jared in Monmouth mall area. It cost me $800. Within 2 months the chain began to unwind. I took it back to the Jared where I bought it. The clerk asked me if I bought insurance for the bracelet. I never heard of buying insurance for repairing jewelry, so no. They refused to fix it. I had it fixed at another jeweler, and it fell apart again, garbage. In disgust I sold it to a jeweler unwound for $80. I would never spend a dime in Jared Jeweler, there products are inferior and their policies on repairing the garbage are non existent unless they can charge you more for insurance, a flam!

Six weeks turning into 3-4 months plus for repair

I took my ring in for inspection and cleaning and was told the the diamond was chipped UNDER the facet. They said they could replace the stone or I could pay to upgrade...I opted for replacement and was given a 6 week turn around and a date promised of 9/12...I called and was told it was in progress still and someone would call me in a couple of days with an update. No one called. I called back and was told 2 managers were working on it....manager called me today and said I was given wrong info and it would be 90 to 120 days. Absolutely furious. I have no idea when I will have my ring or where it is. I will call corporate but doubt it will do any good. The Woodlands location.

Baby Feet Pendant

I ordered this Baby Feet pendant as a gift for my pregnant granddaughter. I had it engraved with "For this child we prayed". Imagine my disappointment to discover the pendant is the size of a dime!!! The inscription is too tiny to read!!! Returning is not an option. I will not be purchasing anything from Jared again.

Poor quality

My boyfriend bought me an infinity ring that has diamonds on it I think it’s like $300 so not super prices but still all real stuff within 2 weeks of having the ring the band broke and I was so so careful with it take it off to shower sleep etc. I called and asked if they could do anything and they said since he didn’t get a warranty it would be $170 to fix…. It’s a $300 ring. Few weeks later a diamond fell out I reached out to them again and they again weren’t willing to do anything to help the fact that j got a poorly made ring that was still pricey considering. I don’t recommend them to anyone they aren’t helpful and the quality is absolutely horrible.
