I am in the unique position of having just changed from a sole trader to limited company. Was told that in my situation (less than 1 year's books, limited amount of time trading), there are no lenders that will do this. Rather than InTouch proactively seeing what other routes/options were available to me (e.g. can you get a larger deposit? Looking for smaller lenders etc not just the big banks), they just said outright it can't be done. I have since went through a different mortgage/financial advice company who managed to find 3 different lenders for my situation. I wouldn't have my first mortgage if I had taken InTouch's "it can't be done" as a final answer and didn't keep looking myself (they didn't even suggest that someone else might be able to help out).
They're probably decent if you are in a regular financial situation but my limited experience with them, including their willingness to keep digging and seeing what could be done for me, was very disappointing.
