As others have noted - the team are very helpful, both in terms of process of choosing a computer, and afterwards - always a quick response - very good - indeed, if trustpilot allowed different categories of "star" I would give 5 stars for their speed of communication.
So, a lot to recommend here. My own purchase (£1200 Fanless AMD Ryzen desktop) was not as good as I had hoped - it wouldn't work with my monitor, but I had a second one, which did work fine.
The real problems began when I connected it to audio equipment - it generated a very audible digital noise (showed up on recordings). I tried three different audio interfaces, coupled with a studio grade hum/noise eliminator, to no avail. All of these audio interfaces worked fine with five other computers.
The company did respond quickly (again, five stars for speed of response), but could only recommend buying or trying new equipment. I wasn't going to do that, especially as the gear all worked fine with every other computer. I asked to return it, and they were fine with that, so again, good stuff here too.
The return insured postage was £60, and they would not agree to cover that unless they could find something wrong with it, they tested it and it was OK at their end. Got a refund for the cost of the computer no problem.
We then had a bit of an ongoing chain with a fair bit of miscommunication and misunderstanding and crossed wires (not least in response to an initial trustpilot review) - but by the end it became clear that the company were trying their best to resolve things in a fair way.
At this later stage they stressed that the computer was not an off-the-shelf model, but a high end bespoke model, so might not work with other gear. It would have been very good to know this right at the start, of course - it would have factored in to my decision to purchase if they had been up front that it might not work with standard audio equipment (I have had no problems with 5 other computers tried with the same gear).
So, very much a "mixed" experience - on the plus side, there's a lot to like in terms of quick response but, as a tip, if you are going to use them (and a lot of people have had very good experiences, so my case might just seems to be bad luck) - I would make sure to specify exactly what you are going to connect it to up front and try to get some kind of commitment in writing that it should work. I am sure they would be happy to work things out with you according to your specific needs, so long as you are clear up front.

Summary
I was looking for a custom built PC, very specifically using the Fractal Design North case and some beefy specs. A search provided me with Inside-Tech. I did contemplate the investment a while, since I wanted to buy something powerful and yet not (fully) break the bank. I got what I wanted :-)

Order process
The website to customize the PC is straightforward. Price listing and order process is efficient and what you would hope for.

Build time
On the website it says 5-6 working days. It ended up being 10 for my PC. There were some challenges around the timing, but these were resolved in the end (just barely in time). I will not detract from the score, but I do feel that giving a note that is more accurate of the timing, especially when behind would be a big plus.

Customer support
I did reach out due to delivery timing and longer build time. Customer support was super fast and friendly. As stated above, if the longer build time had been communicated more proactively it would have been outstanding. Still excellent customer support overall.

Delivery and packaging
Delivery was over the weekend, which usually means overnight is tricky. But enough about that. The packaging was perfect, protecting my new PC excellently. The removal of the foam inside the case was easily done and when done with a bit of care is all good.

The PC itself
Stellar! As hoped and expected it looks and functions the way I want it to. A beast of a machine and sure to keep me happy for years to come. And it looks absolutely amazing

Choosing, configuring, and ordering was quick and easy. Asking for help via the Chat window was also quick and easy with excellent advice given.

Not so good was the wait. The 5/6 day delivery statement on the website took twice as long. It’s not a massive issue but customer service could have been better here as should have been informed of delay once the stated build time had elapsed and should have been more accurately informed when chasing.

Delivery process was excellent. Good notifications and delivered on time within the one hour time window given.

PC was very well packaged and protected, without being excessive.

Once unpacked had difficulty opening the PC’s glass partition to remove the internal protective padding, but checked with the guys on the company’s help chat and had the reassurance and help required to prize it open.

The PC itself is everything I’d hoped for. Performance was perfect and trouble free out of the box and looks stunning. Only small niggle is that the fans make a slight undulating droning sound, but otherwise noise levels are low.

Paired with a 4k gaming monitor (Samsung Neo 32 inch curved 4k 240hz) the high end Corsair Emperor gaming PC is awesome!

I've never spent so much money on a luxury item before in my life...actually I did end up spending a fortune on my ex-wife but she was far from luxury as it turned out...any hoo...I was a bit of a pain in the whats'it with the guys during the build time but it was only because I wanted my dream gaming PC to be absolutely perfect. Well the RTX4090/i9 13900K monster arrived today and it certainly is perfect, it's maxing out my Samsung Odyssey G7 at 240fps at 1440 in Modern Warfare 2 and that's on "quality" settings not even "performance" and with everything set on "are you mental?"....mind blowing! The guys were extremely helpful during the build process and always replied to my annoying emails super fast, the build quality is excellent and the delivery, packaging etc couldn't be faulted so it's a heartfelt 10 out of 10 from me. Thank you so much guys, now I have to go and deliver my lungs and kidneys to their buyer so I can pay for the beast PC but it'll be worth it. An extremely happy customer, Dan.

Extremely helpful team. In this instance they weren't able to repair my equipment as it was too far gone, but they were able to salvage the bits that were working and incorporate them into a new unit rather than replace everything.
Delivery was very quick, with unit packed securely.

Bought a mini NUC from inside-tech. Although there was an initial delivery issue, James was on it immediately and collected the incorrect one and delivered the correct one within 36 hours. The kit is very good for the price. Their fanless mini pc's are also great value for money and silent. The NUC i bought isnt silent, but the fans are relatively quiet, so cant hear them when playing movies connected to a TV (for example). I'd definitely buy from them again, and love the fact they are a small UK company.
