Paid £500 for inflatable pub and it was never delivered. Despite numerous attempts we have not been able to get a refund. The owner has been evasive and made many excuses, none of which were reasonable or acceptable. Will be reporting to the appropriate authorities so that others are not treated in this way.

I booked an Inflatable pub from this company for a stag do - it seemed like a great idea to give the event a little bit extra!!

I booked the inflatable on 9th June after trying to negotiate a deposit less than the full amount - which wasn't possible.

Feeling somewhat uneasy after dealing this company, I check with them multiple times in the days preceding the event to ensure that they had everything they needed and agreed a delivery time.

On the day itself, they were a complete no show. I attempted to get in contact with them several times without answer.

The following day they apologised from not turning up and the representative at the time blamed it on someone else.

After I clearly explained my disappointment and that the company is liable to pay me a full refund for services not delivered regardless of any internal or supplier relationships.

I have since been told that the company has "changed Hands" and they "new owner" intends on refunding me but has cashflow issues as the original payment went to the "old owner".

It has been a month and a half now, without a refund or progress on the matter.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!

Entered their Raffall competition and won - to win inflatable pub hire for a weekend with all the extras - but tried several times to contact them and got completely ignored! Needless to say I never received the prize that was promised! And have heard nothing from them since. I certainly wouldn’t recommend them. Or their removals company either! SimplyPro Removals & Storage Ltd - AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Really disappointing experience. The pub was described on the website as being water proof in showers and weather proof - but it was not at all. In just light rain water leaked in from both sides, over where the electrics were installed, making it very dangerous, unsafe and unusable. They are not waterproof at all.

I also paid an additional £150 for the option 1 “Furniture, lighting, flooring and wooden bar servery”. The bar servery wasn’t delivered at all, the “furniture” was 5 old old stools and a couple of wooden tables and the lighting was a tiny disco light you can get from Amazon for £8. The flooring was a very thin plastic net which was pointless so I had to go out and buy a better tarpaulin myself to cover the floor.

We had some light rain when we wanted to use it, so it was completely unusable. The delivery guy (who was great) told me that they are only really designed for dry summer days - which no one can guarantee in England. That’s fine and totally understandable, but it should say that on the website, not that it’s shower and weather proof.

I contacted the owner and told him we couldn’t use the pub at all on the night and requested a refund (I offered to cover some of their transport costs if they refunded the rest). I even sent a video showing the leaks and general weather, but the owner, Craig, refused to give me any money back and just gave me his contact details for my solicitor and told me to “do what I have to do” - hence this review.

Thankfully I paid by credit card and so I don’t need to involve a solicitor, so very glad I didn’t transfer cash as I was initially requested.
