I have visited many tanning centres over the years, but I can honestly say that Indigo Sun on Prescot Road, St Helens Merseyside is by far the best.

The sunbeds are amazing, powerful, and clearly very well maintained. The salon itself is spotless, modern, and looks fantastic. What impressed me most, however, was the professionalism of the team. Even though I mentioned that I had used this store before, they still asked me to complete a consultation form covering medical conditions and skin type. They also advised me that the beds had recently been re-tubed and recommended reducing my session time accordingly.

The staff took the time to talk me through the different products available and explained the tanning courses in detail, helping me understand the best options for my skin type and goals without any pressure. Their knowledge and honest advice were really appreciated.

It’s clear that health and safety are a top priority here, and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and genuinely care about their customers’ wellbeing. The ladies working there were friendly, welcoming, and made me feel completely comfortable and safe throughout my visit.

The whole experience had such positive vibes from start to finish. Excellent customer service, fantastic facilities, and a team that truly goes the extra mile. I couldn’t ask for more and would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a professional, friendly, and trustworthy tanning experience. Hats off to the team – keep up the great work

I use the Stanningley Leeds store. I went in today to have my usual 6 minutes. I turned down the accelerator as always. This time I was given the hard sell being told I’ll only get two minutes out of my 6 without it. I asked how much and if it was fragrance free, I was told it was and would stop me burning so I decided to pay the £3. On opening the sachet, it had a strong fragrance so I didn’t use it. I asked for a refund. I was told they can’t do refunds, and I didn’t specify fragrance free which was a complete lie. They said they would check CCTV which I thought was absolutely ridiculous for £3!! So I said can you add me some extra minutes on or give me a fragrance free one. It was a no to all of them. I left there feeling completely ripped off! Just be aware of poor customer service, lack of goodwill and an inability to give refunds, not least the lies and my humiliation while a queue formed behind me.

The team members at indigo sun Falkirk are very helpful, bright and cheerful. The reception area and tan stands are spotlessly clean. The special offers of discounts or increased minutes are good value. A special mention for team member Camille who always remembers my name, might not seem a big thing but it makes a customer feel valued and that's what great customer service is all about

Seen an anonymous review regarding an employee at indigo sun ladywell stating how she was blunt and rude to multiple customers definitely not true she can be shy but she is very polite and very helpful when spoken to will always go above and beyond. Don’t listen to the anonymous snakes just bullies plain and simple. Your doing a great job you know who you are keep it up

Super clean, friendly staff….cannot find any negatives

Been going to the Ladywell branch for years and always dealt with the same two girls always friendly and welcoming but unfortunately the staff has changed and they are not very friendly or approachable no hello or how are you or small talk and tbh a bit abrupt .I spoke to one about why they put the bins up on the chairs cause it’s a pain to move and basically it’s been on the dusty floor and then it gets put on the chair then customers have to move it, it’s just stupid and unsanitary. I asked why they do this and she just laughed I’m presuming they have been told to do this from management when I asked why they do this she said they do it at the end of shift to make cleaning easier but this was at 1pm in the afternoon. The next time I went in after asking about this it was the same two girls, the one I dealt with was very abrupt and just a horrible vibe. Indigo Sun you need to sort your staff out cause you’re going to lose customers!!!

I am a regular customer at Indigo Sun Ladywell, and the staff are usually very friendly and welcoming. However, I have just been in tonight and the member of staff, Mia, was very unfriendly and blunt, she was giving me dirty looks from the moment I parked and continued to after I left. There was multiple other customers who went in after me and she continued to look miserable and very unwelcoming.

I brought 50 mins only used 10 had a breast cancer scare so I didn’t go for a while went back now summer is comin to use the rest of my minutes I PAID FOR and they told me I can’t after a year they expire which is a rip off would never waste my money here ever again YES WASTE BECAUSE I CANT USE WHAT I PAID FOR ABSOLUTE RIP OFF OF A SUN BED SHOP scamming sun bed shop

After months of hospital treatment, I was given the all clear to go on holiday before my next operation in June. I visited my local branch who informed me my 96 minutes had expired the day before. Had I known it was when you bought the minutes package not the last time you went on the sunbed, I would have contacted them to inform them. After contacting head office and being told by Erin there was nothing they could do as company policy states the don’t reinstate expired minutes. Even if they had met me half way I would have felt slightly better. Customer service is appalling and in future I will be using a different sunbed shop. Looking at the reviews online this is not a one off and should be a warning to others. Can I just add the 2 girls working in the shop were lovely .

I changed to glenrothes indigo sun a couple of year ago its amazing the staff are friendly specially i think its mel & ann work during week one had long browm hair one long dark! They get to know there customers and make u feel very welcome & only one iv went in that theres 2 staff always happy and chat away! Excellant customer service & people skills

This disgusting 🤢 this woman tried to flirt with my girlfriend and chat up my woman and spread lies about me and used my data of the system to pleasure herself…disgusting needs formally complaining about… Indigo sunbed shop Mere Green want to do nothing

£46 of credit wiped off and they don’t make it clear when you book. Advised to email the HQ to explain I had been ill and to look after a parent who since passed away.
Erin from the Stirling HO said the policy is the policy so no your money has been simply taken by the company. This practice should be illegal. They don’t even let you no your credit is expiring. Sad another uncaring money grabbing company. AVOID!

Senior management and mangers bully staff who have children on zero hours contracts with threats of no shifts and even dismissal if they don’t do shifts that they are unable to do due to having small children

Always very poor customer service which is shocking as you literally spend 2 minutes at the desk(except only 1 girl) I would like to raise a hygiene concern about the standing solarium machine. The handle that customers need to hold does not appear to be cleaned regularly. Every time I use the machine, the handle feels slippery, likely because previous customers have touched it with tanning creams on their hands.

Wilford Lane Nottingham shop has some of the rudest workers. They never smile or engage in friendly chat such at when i ask if they are okay they just say yes and dont ask if i am. They always sit on their phones and scowl at you when you walk though the door.

As an ex sunbed shop worker i like to wipe the beds down after to help out but i wont be doing it anymore. My beds 80% of the time are dirty when i enter the room.

Management really need to sort the attitude and customer service out in this shop.

To save money - I bought £40+ worth of sunbed credit in the Indigo shop as I am normally a regular customer. I visited again today, after a while, only to be told that the remaining £36 of credit was nolonger available, as it has been twelve months since I paid. So, if you pay £40 in Sept you only have 12 months until the following Sept to use ALL the credits or they delete the lot - you loose everything! All the remaining credits and the monetary value. Gone… I was going to explain that my brother had died and my mother had been ill etc. But I could tell that the girl serving wouldn’t want to know. After years of custom - I’m never going back.

Absolutely crazy that they dont have a toilet available .. its a basic human right lol if im paying money to use the sunbeds why cant I use the toilet? Madness. The girl expressed the toilet is only available to staff and directed me to subway next door. In this day in ages thats actually so ridiculous. Definitely puts me off continuing to go here. Very strange

My local salon doesn’t seem to go for the customer friendly focus -I got fed up and changed my mind about a session when told max permitted time was 6 mins and I can’t ignore their advice?!!!
