Lights were delivered with broken glass. We have not yet received a response to our email sent over a week ago requesting a replacement.

I sent both lamps back and I have proof that they have been delivered. I did write the order number on the outside of the box which I now realise was a mistake. I am happy to pay for two card board boxes but I really cannot believe they are refusing to refund me £242.80. They were returned in immaculate condition with the original packaging. I have sent them the tracking numbers for both parcels to prove that they have been delivered. Is this company really going to keep £242.80 because I wrote the order number on the outside of the box. If you read other reviews they have a track record for not refunding items when they should do. What sort of company is this? What happened to goodwill? As I said I have offered to pay for two card board boxes. Lets see if they do refund me minus the cost of the two small boxes

Do not buy from them! They sent us bent lights and refused to return or replace the items. They “claimed” because we already installed them, we were the ones who damaged one of the items. Also they are a small business out of Irland and hide behind what they claim protects them from lawsuits. They do not have a listed phone number either but I was able to figure it out: (028) 302 5 3616. Not sure if the number is still valid, still researching things.

Delivery took weeks, customer service is rude, they don’t honor a warranty and should be shutdown!

I will also attempt to dispute the CCed purchase

Buyer beware

I bought 2 lightbulbs, but sent them back as they weren't the right size. Ideas4lighting refused to refund me claiming that they didn't have to as the bulbs were on sale. This is contrary to UK distance selling regulations - I pointed this out & sent them a link to the government website... they refused again!

However, PayPal refunded me within an hour, and I've reported Ideas4lighting to Trading Standards.

Terrible customer service
paid for express delivery came 2 weeks later
arrived smashed and i have tried every which way to contact them with no luck nightmare

I am writing an update about my experience. 24/5/24.
ALTHOUGH I HAVE SENT THE LIGHTS BACK THEY STILL HAVE NOT REFUNDED ME. I WOULD AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

I am writing another review as I still haven't heard back from this company on how to return my items. I have repeatedly emailed them yet no response. The response from my last trustpilot review is untrue. I have NOT received any information on how to return my items. Avoid this company as their customer services do not respond to emails.

After buying numerous lights, 2 have stopped working and are in warranty. They are refusing to refund us and now we are out even more money having to replace them. Customer service is awful

Found an unusual lamp at a good price

Lamp was exactly as described and colour as it appeared in the website image. Was exactly what I wanted and hoped. Was well protected in transit and arrived in timely time from order date. Good value to as was on sale. Delivery price bit steep.

I ordered one lamp initially but was impresed by the beauty of the lamp (Art Deco wall lamp) and the very quick turmover of my order that I immediatly went and bought two more lamps of the same.
All arrived very carefully wrapped and sealed to protect the lamps.
Would definitely order again from this company.

I ordered a metal tray which is really good quality and a perfect fit for my existing table, really pleased with the ordering, delivery and quality and would definitely use this company again!

Very good website..when looking at the clocks the online chat came up and was very helpful answering questions about the size. Ordering was easy and delivery quick. Beautiful clock, good quality but unfortunately l didn’t realise the depth was too much for my mantel and it hangs over the front. My mistake. But l love the clock so much I’m keeping it and putting it somewhere else. Would recommend this company and definitely use again.

I ordered a large peice of art on glass from this company on 6th December and recieved a confirmation stating:
The delivery estimate on your order is 28 December 2023 and at present we expect no delay on this advised date.
However, it later became clear that the company was closed over the Christmas period and would not reopen until January 4th, so it was obvious that it would not be delivered by the estimated date.
I contacted the customer service desk and was told that deliveries to and from the company we once again happening and I should get the goods shortly. A further 2 weeks went by before I was informed that my order had been dispatched on a "Pallet Service" and that the courier company would call me to arrange delivery usually with 2 working days. The delivery company were unaware of that and come to deliver whilst I was out. Fortunately, they waited for me to return and I now have the item. I am very happy with the artwork but I feel that this company didn't communicate properly and in fact mislead people. I would not order from them again,

Lovely item . Extremely well packaged for a glass lamp . So suitable

Absolutely disgusting customer service, received a coffee table and side table, coffee table was sliver metal which was damaged, marked and scratched. The side table which matches doesn’t stand properly and is wobbling. When we first spoke to Jason in customer service he asked for photos, which we sent but had no response so had to go back on the live chat with various people. There was no phone number to contact but luckily someone on the live chat gave a contact number. Spoke to John on the phone from sales but he passed it back to customer services. Jason then emailed back to say they want video proof even though photos have been sent clearly showing the damage but they said the tables are shipped from India so they are rustic design which is just a joke! The tables are now parcelled up ready to be sent back and they want a video! STAY CLEAR OF THE COMPANY!!! if products are damage they should be liable to have the faulty items collected as stated on there returns Info..

‘For items confirmed as faulty we will arrange a paid collection in most circumstances.’

They are faulty as the photos clearly show!!!

DO NOT USE I WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD!!! Obviously not doing well if they can’t even pay for faulty items to be collected!!

Whilst the sales process went well, helpful advice etc, it all went south after that. not clear anywhere I had to pay local duties to have my good released. Their prices are supposed to be tax inclusive. We ordered various lights totally nearly $3000. In particular we ordered a set (3) of crackled glass (silver in appearance) pendants for our new kitchen. They arrived and the fittings installed by our electrician, however when he unpacked the shades one was gold and did not match the other 2 (silver). We reported this to Ideas4Lighting. They refused to take the wrong one back and exchange it, even though they acknowledged it had come from a different batch. As the wiring had been installed was their reason, but we were not to know until the last stage of installation. Against my better judgement I ordered a 4th given assurance that it would be silver. It was, so I carefully repacked the gold shade with the unopened fittings with a view to returning it. Alas, the company requires 10% restocking fee and notwithstanding all of this their fault shipping was for my account meaning I would probably lose 50% of the cost. They were so unhelpful on a matter completely caused by their QA process shipping the incorrect one in the first place

Received my lamp today.absolutely love it .Great company to deal with.definately use again.
