After a lot of stress trying to find a van from the big companies that were open at the weekends we finally found this company. I'm so glad we did. They have been nothing but friendly and professional. It was a little complicated as the person paying wasn't the same person would would be driving, but that was no problem and the person we spoke to explained it all. Overall I would highly recommend

Was a little bit of a pain setting up the account but that was down to having a named driver instead of me driving but the lady on the phone was really helpful so easy to pick up and drop off only suggestion I would have is when they ask you to top up diesel they could let you know how much you should put in as I ended up leaving it with a lot more than I used perhaps a refund for things like that would be an idea other than that I would definitely use them again reasonable prices for rental and great service

I couldnt contact them AT ALL on their phone lines. When someone finally contacted me, she was rude and short. Unacceptable customer service.

Very good experience, no joining fees, registration was simply, hired the van for excellent price and only payed what i was quoted, no hidden fees, what more could you ask for.

Vehicle was late arriving to exchange point and inconveniently located. There were several areas of damage to the vehicle, one required a mechanic to be called out which took a long time and delayed the job I had to do that day and the manager and staff were very unhelpful and rude. Never again - avoid at all costs!

The van was parked not far from home and I was able to park my car easily and it felt safe. The automated system was very easy to use and the online booking was easy. I would use again without hesitation

Smooth communication, easy booking procedure. Thorough instructions received by email on how to unlock the car. Excellent Customer Services: I left a folder inside the car, had to return to the parking lot on the following morning, their CS were very accommodating and remotely unlocked the car so that I could take my folder.

I belong to two car clubs but when I went to book a longer wheelbase vehicle they only had your standard transit sizes. Larger van hire companies had the stock but if you read their t's n c's you have an excess liability of £1500! Not saying I was going to drive badly but if some damage was done either way, I would be the sucker paying for it! I hired the sized van I wanted in the location I wanted for 3 days and had the option to damage waiver for next to nothing. Easy to collect and drop off as your can do as and when you are ready and not the rental office. I booked my van for 16:00 but after over running with packing etc I picked it up at midnight ! Now you can't do that with rental offices. So long as you book a bit of time either side of your requirements then your stress free👍

On collection it was easy to book and easy to find the vehicle and instructions was clear and easy . Would have like to leave the vehicle at a different location but still was easy to find and use

I used it twice in the same week. No problems on both occasions.

First time I used this method of hiring a van for a few hours. Simple, convenient and economical. The Van was well used but to be expected. I gave 5 stars because for the price and convenience it was.

Needed a van to move home. From the get go the lady on the phone when processing my booking and checking my details was extremely friendly and helpful and sent me my booking and confirmation email straight away with all the info required. When picking up the van the automated service to get into the van was quick and easy. The van was in a good condition a few scratches and dents but all as shown on the vehicle inspection checklist. Had the van from 6am til 11pm returned the vehicle called automated number to have vehicle locked driver door would not lock so i was put through to an actual person who was extremely friendly and resolved the issue quickly. Then I was on my way home. Would 100% use icanhire again and will recommend to everyone. Extremely good value for money and great service.

To be fair to company I did email them my complaint and they responded the same day refunding the money from the hire period that I could not get into the Van. I felt that this was just about acceptable. For those considering using company, I would avoid starting rental during out of office hours and when time sensitive. Take a pen with you and hope signals working. Good luck

This was a good experience. I've used Icanhire three times now and each time the service has been very good, particularly when something has not been quite right or something has happened unexpectedly. Being able to collect the van at a place of my convenience is so much better than having to go to a fixed collection centre.

I, lime someone else has commented on, do have concerns about the condition of the vehicle (body marks etc) and being held responsible for such things. So far, this hasn't been a source of problems so that's good.

I would definitely recommend the company to anyone. The booking is easy and the information provided very thorough.

I have used icanhire 3 times so far and everything always worked absolutely fine. I can't imagine a quicker and easier way of hiring a vehicle. Today I did a booking at around 11am to get the van the same day at 2p.m. It took me only a few minutes to make the booking online. The van was far from perfect as cleanliness and overall mechanical condition but all the functions were present and it did the job I needed it for (I had only to collect a flat pack from IKEA).
My only worry each time is if I am not going to be blamed for any existing damages because the vans I used had scratches and usually other damages (like cracked mirror, cracked stop light etc). Well, nothing like this happened so far and I would gladly recommend icanhire to friends.

I found this company on the website, I tried booking on line and ringing the number but no reply over 2 days! Is this company still trading or am i wasting my time? This is so annoying!!

Brilliant system phone up go to the allocated place were parked and drive off no paperwork or hassle and the phone operator very helpful. The only thing was there were bumps and dents to the vehicle which you couldn't see at night would have been useful to have a note of it prior to hire however I took photos in the morning so hopefully no comeback
